"Please... Please, I'll get your money! Don't kill me! Please!"
The screams of a man pierced the sky in the city as he was hanging from a rooftop, twenty stories above the ground. Despite the volume of his cries, no one would hear him from how high up he wa, and that was ideal.
"You stole from me, Micky. That's a no-no. I took you in, fed you, housed your pathetic family and you fucking steal from me? If you were in my position, would you let me walk away? Nah. I don't think so."
Micky was Yannick's most reliable fence, made him hundreds of thousands since the whole operation started, but then he got greedy, and that doesn't sit well with Yannick. He didn't like being betrayed, so he had to make an example out of Micky and his family. Micky had been severely beaten, and his family was tied up and gagged in front of him. Now he was hanging and about to die, all because he wanted to make an extra buck.
"Have at him boys."
At Yannick's signal, his men would begin to pound on Micky with bats, breaking his ribs and arms, shattering his nose ano busting his face for several minutes. When his cries finally died out, Yannick cut the rope and let the body fall to the ground so far below... And that was the end of Micky.
People would no doubt call the police about a man dropping from such a height and going splat on the ground, and Yannick took precautions. He found the cops on duty in the area and paid them off handsomely, so they could get there and close the case quickly. Legally, it would be declared a suicide, and that meant Yannick and his boys were in no trouble.
"Now, what do we do with you?" Yannick approached Micky's wife and daughter, bat it hand. This was going to get ugly.

- Valo was patrolling the city nightly yet again, dressed in his red hood and mask. He had a bow perched on his shoulder as he walked along the rooftops, keeping an eye out for anything illegal or for anyone who needed help. He wasn't getting much closer to finding what he was searching for, but he didn't want to give up now.
- He heard screams in the distance, and began to run towards the direction of it, looking to the ground level to see if he could find the source of the screams. But there was nothing on the ground level but normal people, no disturbances. Another scream rang out, and he ended up looking to the sky, seeing what looked like something hanging from a rooftop in the distance. It was considerably higher up than he was.
- His eyes widened as he saw the object suddenly fall, and as it came close by to his same level, he saw it was a man. They fell to the ground, obviously dead, and Valo was torn between going down there and ascending to see who or what dropped him.
- Getting to a nearby taller building, he would climb the fire escape on the side and begin to ascend as quickly as he could. Once he reached the top, he would see a group of men who were armed, and what looked like a woman and child on the ground nearby. Gritting his teeth, Valo took an arrow from his quiver and aimed it carefully at the man who looked like he was in charge. Taking a deep breath, he fired, but due to his inexperience, wasn't sure if he'd hit his intended target...

"Fuck!" one of Yannick's bodyguards shouted as an arrow struck him in his shoulder, causing him to fall over in pain. This made the drug dealer halt just as he was about to strike the wife, and he looked over to where the arrow came from.
"What the fuck is this?!" He growled before angrily smashing the bat over Micky's wife's head. "Get that fucking bastard!"
The masked man would find a man with a pistol firing at him from Yannick's side. Yannick himself pulled the arrow out of his downed man and pulled him to his feet. He fell over though, screaming from the pain.

"STOP!" Valo shouted as the man in charge struck the woman with the bat. He was unable to prevent her any harm, and in anger Valo pulled another arrow from his quiver and readied it. He was unable to fire, however, before there was a pistol firing at him. Valo quickly ducked behind a nearby air conditioning unit, his heart racing. He wasn't sure if that one man had a gun or if they all did. He was in trouble, and realized he should've analyzed the situation better before jumping in.
- Taking a deep breath, Valo would ready his bow again, nocking the arrow before rolling out of cover, firing it in the direction of the man with the gun. He would quickly grab another arrow and fire it off too, just in the case the first one missed, before rolling back into cover. He needed to get closer, but he wasn't sure how to yet.

All the shots from the pistol missed, and Yannick was furious. Arrows flew through the air, one managing to hit one of his men in the thigh. The man cringed, and Yannick took the pistol from his hands.
"Gimme that you useless fucking - GET OUT OF HERE!"
The dealer would begin to fire off a few warning shots to force this vigilante back into cover, while his men retreated from the roof. Their work here was done anyway, and they weren't going to take this guy out from long-range. He seemed smart enough to not get shot, unlock the goons Yannick had with him. Still firing, the man would take the women as hostages and retreat into the building below.
It always helped to have leverage when dealing with goody-two-shoes types.

- Valo's arrows hit one of the guys, but he had been unsuccessful at taking the leader down. Staying behind cover and covering his head with his arms, Valo hid from the gunfire the best he could. The bullets riddled the air conditioning unit around him with loud repercussions. Once it ceased, he would wait a moment before peeking out over the unit to see what was going on.
"I'm not letting you get away..."
- Valo gripped his bow tightly as he backed up a bit, getting a running start as he leapt from one building to the other. Landing with a roll, he got up quickly and rushed to the door that led below, his back against the wall as he peeked into the door cautiously. Readying an arrow, he took a deep breath as he started to walk down the stairs slowly, quietly.

Yannick took the first door he could, leaving two of his guys to guard it from the inside, laying in wait for when the vigilante followed through. From there, he would drag his squealing hostages into an office at the far end of the hallway, throwing them against a wall and placing the gun to the mother's head. The other three guards were protecting the office Yannick entered.
"Shush now," he whispered, smirking. "It'll all be over when this fuckhead backs off. Then I can kill you and the girl... it'll be a party. But for now, shut the fuck up, yeah?" The girls quieted down, and Yannick sighed. "That's better."

- Valo made it down the stairs without incident, moving very quietly. He found himself in a hallway, a plethora of doors awaited him. The first door closest to him was open, and Valo figured that might be where his destination was. But it could be a trap. Looking down the hallway, Valo would find a panel on the wall which was probably provided power to this floor. He proceeded past the door and headed to the panel, opening it and finding fuse switches inside. He would flip them all to off, which would effectively render the entire floor in darkness. It was an advantage he'd need if he was outnumbered. He then turned back towards the door down the hall from him, readying his bow just in case his hunch was right and the men came out to investigate.

"Damn it... must be the fuse bo-" "Shut the fuck up. You ever play stealth action games, man?" The guards began to bicker. "This is typical Sam Fisher shit. Lights go out, guards stupidly go to investigate even when they know they got some guy on their tails." "Oh... really? I didn't even think -" "No, you didn't. Stay where you are dumbass." "You're a dick, Ronny."
The guards all stayed where they were, despite the lights going out. It seemed that, while they were moderately incompetent against a bow and arrow, they at least had some common sense. They just kept watch on that door and stayed silent. The moment they saw the bastard, they'd strike.
Meanwhile, Yannick stared at the lights as they went out.
"Seriously?"

... ..... ......Damn it.
- Valo sighed that no one was coming out, but cautiously approached the door anyway. He was ready to fire, and noticing the door was slightly ajar, he had to get the jump on them first. Taking a deep breath, he kicked the door as hard as he could, causing it to fly open. He would luckily hit one of the two men on the inside as the door slammed into his face. Letting off his arrow instantly in the direction of the office, Valo hoped he'd hit someone before he rushed into the room, punching the other guy in the face as hard as he could before gripping his bow and slamming it down on the guy's head. From there, he'd go back towards the guy he hit with the door and strike him in the head in the same way to knock him out before dashing and hiding amongst the cubicles in the dark.
- He would creep around the room quietly, staying low and waiting for an opportune moment to strike.

The two guys at the first door would be taken out pretty quickly, and the three guarding Yannick's door would split off around the floor, looking for the vigilante. One would go straight down the hall, while the other two took the flanks. Luckily, one would spot the guy, hopefully before he was spotted himself, and he would creep up on him, bat in hand. Once he was within striking distance, the guard would lift the bat over his head and slam it down hard into the vigilante's back. The strike would sound loud enough to alert the others, and they would soon proceed on his location, each one armed with another bat. If he was knocked to the floor, he would be beaten to death, with no hesitation.

- Valo was attempting to monitor all of the men in the room. It seemed like there were only three left. He stayed dead quiet as he moved very slowly through the room. He withheld a gasp as one of the men closed in on his position, discovering each other at the same time. As the man brought down the bat upon Valo, he lifted his bow up to block the blow. The bat against the metal of his bow would make a loud noise, and Valo quickly kicked the other man in the stomach and swung his bow horizontally across his face in an attempt to knock him out. He would then quickly draw and fire off two arrows at the legs of the approaching men before running and diving over another cubicle, once again hiding amongst the darkness as he moved along the floor quietly. He was trying to catch his breath as the adrenaline pumped through his veins.

The first of the thugs would be knocked out, and one would take a arrow to the legs and fall to the ground in pain, incapable of walking anymore. The third one was lucky, as not only was the vigilante an inexperienced shot with a boy, he'd also made hasty shots. So, as the vigilante made a dive over a cubicle to hide once again, the single remaining guard grabbed him by his hood and pulled him back, throwing him to the ground. A foot would stomp down on the bow arm, before the bat would be rammed down toward his head. He sought to end this as quickly as possible.
"No one has come through the door yet, so either my guys are getting their asses kicked or he is... Guess we'll see, eh?" Yannick mused to his hostages.

Shit!
- Valo panicked as he was grabbed by the hood and thrown back onto the floor. His hood was now off, but his mask was still hiding his face and the darkness only aided him. Before he could move, the man slammed his foot down on Valo's bow arm, and the blonde grunted. He quickly grabbed an arrow from his quiver with his free hand and stabbed it into the side of the other man's knee before the guy could hit him with the bat. From here, Valo would punch the guy's other leg in an effort to get him off. He would then get up and slam his bow into the side of the guy's head to knock him out.
- If all of this went well, Valo would approach the door where he assumed the leader was, making sure to stay out of sight.
"All of your men are down. It's just you are me now."

Not expecting the arrow to the knee the Whiterun guard fell to the floor, and the strike from the bow took him out cold. Yannick could hear the body thump against the floor, and a sigh escaped his lips. When he heard the voice at the door, he knew he had to deal with this problem on his own, and so he would.
"Fucking useless ass-" Yannick would be interrupted by the sound of gunshots, as he blew a hole in the heads of both his hostages. Standing to his feet, he would kick the door down and send it flying forward to strike the vigilante if he happened to be positioned in that area. "You wanna play hero, buddy? You're too late." He kicked the shoulder of one of his downed guys and sighed, looking around for the vigilante.
