**This was a test of true fortitude. Unbound patience is needed for the job that is only in place for Mars to carry. Enough times others try and fail. Sometimes people going through it and barely making it. For this young man, he was fairly confident in his skills. Enough he believed that going to an actual school for it is a waste of time. Paying someone to slowly teach you how to use certain products? Yeah, they only do so to make people believe their money was worth it. Maybe it would be, Mars would never downplayed education, but paid education that in some cases just chalks things up to "practice" is not something he would even consider giving money to. But of course if you know Mars by now, he is a man that likes to go plus. Never a situation where money wasted is going plus... Considering all that come to what his job. What is the job you may ask, something he feels is a position suitable for his talents, Bartender.
Now, I know what you are thinking... Why a bartender? How could his talents that he has be honing at a young age can be in such use? Well that would be exposing trade secrets now wouldn't it? Everyone is a lock, every secret is tucked away in their perpetual safe. More so, with the right tools and a little bit of luck and charm any human lock can be open. In this case, a little bit of liquor and some of his classic charm from yours truly and you can find out a lot of things. Who is important, who is not so important. The ambitious to the down right snakes in the grass. Everyone opens up to a bartender, cause they seem like your friend. And he can be, enough to think you would not see him again, you can release your problems and walk away clean. Like a confessional, but not that your sins go away mind you. It is more so, your sins get drowned, smothered and forgotten until you leave the bar, till the sins weighed come back to haunt you. Cleaning the glass, with eyes closed, he just listened to who ever made a move his bar-top.
Small laughter, dance music and others sounds filled the air, but none were distracting to the mission in mind. Use what is given, keep your interest to the customer, stay sincere and remember the damn drinks! He kept running those lines in his head like it was a mantra to life. Oh boy, to remember all the "life" lessons learned from Orion, that would make his head hurt even more. As he heard a person sit down, opening his eyes to them, he spoke with his rich deep tone, greeting the patron.
