A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

It was sunny, so Kylemor had his umbrella. Of course he was wearing a mass of shirts and had himself mostly covered up, but his face was still exposed which wouldn't be the best for him. It wasn't as if he didn't like the sun, well he didn't, but it irritated his skin to a point he'd get a rash super easily. His eyes were also sensitive, something about his colorblindness. Luckily he could still see colors, just not certain ones and since it was from birth he hasn't seen anything else so it didn't really bother him.
He was on the hunt to buy some new candles. His got taken away at the orphanage after he set fire to his bed on accident. He was punished, though it didn't go the way they wanted, since Kylemor just decided to disobey anyways. Now he managed to get himself lost. His favorite store closed down, so today he was going to a new one, though he didn't know the area the best, so he was lost.
As he wandered down the streets, a sight caught his eyes, well of course it did, he walked into a person. Dropping his umbrella and ruffling his hair he looked at the person he bumped into. "Hey... sor-" He paused as he looked at the girl in front of him. Tilting his head he put his hood up to shield his face. "Sis?"

Aergia Sophia Jeong It was winter and yet, per usual, Sophia was wearing inappropriate clothing for the temperature. She was adorned in a white summer dress covered with small, pink flowers along with light flats. The girl casually strolled along the street, swaying her hips and fingers toying with the flowy skirt of her dress. She didn't have any particular location she was heading for, simply wandering mindlessly while Ku was busy earning money. The young woman had already taken a nap or two and finished a large textbook, and she grew bored in the apartment. And so she decided to take a stroll, in hopes perhaps she would come across something of interest.
And so she did.
Someone bumped into the teenager, yet she hardly noticed, blinking slowly and halting with a slow shake of her head. The word sis was spoken and Sophia pursed her lips. Only one person had ever called her that and she gazed forward, taking a closer look at the boy who had run into her.
His appearance was only vaguely familiar. But what he said left no question. With a smile, she opened her arms and cooed, "Ky-Ky! It's been so loooong~"

He grins wide. He hasn't seen Aergia in so long! But to him she only looked a tad different, maybe it was just natural with time. He looked at her outstretched arms and nervously hugged back. He wasn't used to such soft feelings and it was strange. A tear went down his eyes as a feeling he couldn't describe burst inside of him. It was warm and happy, not like the happy he was used to.
He'd unconsciously try to snuggle her a bit as he wanted her never to let go of him. "Where did you go?" Kylemor was curious but also scared this would hurt him again, so he let go and walked to pick up his umbrella. "Umm... Is Sis doing well?" Of course they weren't siblings, but they treated each other like they were.
Opening the umbrella he sighed as the shade covered his face. He did think he was getting a bit warm, which was the first signs of him getting a burn. Though by now he took his hood off and tried to smooth out his untamed hair. Of course he changed, but he didn't know how much she did. He wanted hang out like they used to, but he wasn't sure that was possible anymore.

Aergia Sophia Jeong A nice snuggle was always appreciated by the girl, and she smiled lightly as Kylemor held on close. There was comfort there, a physical comfort even, and she deeply desired comfort. If they were laying down, it would be all the better! She frequently pestered her guardian for a snuggle, but within the last couple of years he had opposed, much to her confusion. It was a rarity for them now, and so the hug from her other brotherly figure pleased her greatly.
"Hm?" she blinked and pursed her lips. "Oh-! Well, that place I was before... it's gone now. Dunno why. But I found my big brother. Ku. So I'm with him now. He's super serious, but he's nice. I like him a lot. A lot a lot."
Putting an arm around the blonde's shoulder, Aergia pressed against his side and continued to smile. "And I am. Super well. Oh, and I go by Sophia now. Sophia Jeong. Although you can call me whatever you like, Ky. It's a pretty name, don'tcha think? Anywho, how about you? How are you?" He just nods and smiles as he listens to Aergia talk. He was so happy for her and she seemed to be doing well. If he recalled, when he saw her last it was a sad time, but it could have been worse. "I'm fine." His mouth widened into a big smile as if he was talking about something incredibly exciting. "Since my parents abandoned me I've lived in the orphanage. They don't give me any money or something, so I do some odd jobs." He thinks for a moment before continuing onward. "The orphanage says I'm too hard to take care of, so I go to the public school around here. 552? And I stopped cutting myself as much because it got boring, so now I'm practicing how to curse things with dolls." He takes out a cute wooden cat doll from his pocket. "Like this!"Kylemor then blabbers on about random stuff he's been doing, none of it seems that normal. Luckily he seems happy... seems... "Oh yeah, I was looking for candles... do you know a good shop?" He smiled the entire time and looked excited to see an old friend; one of his only friends. NOTES --- MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Aergia Sophia Jeong Aergia listened, nodding as Kylemor spoke. She kept her arm around his shoulders, shuffling them over to a wall so she could lean against it. The idea of doing any sort of work, particularly to earn money, was more than unpleasant to the mooch of a girl. But she had Ku and he was her safety net, ensuring she had food and someplace to sleep, a good education. It was more than a lot of people had, including Ky, she supposed. She may have been a bit emotionally stunted and oblivious towards some things, but she was aware of Ku's role and that he did a lot for her. She supposed she should have been grateful. Perhaps Sophia was. Yes, she certainly was. She deeply cared for her Ku. And he certainly knew it. That was enough, right? It would have to be, as she wasn't one to do much else besides cling and be taken care of. She was the queen of sloths, after all.
"Work? Ick. That sounds like no fun," muttered the teenager with a shake of her head. Looking to her side at Kylemor, Sophia inquired, "How's 552? I don't know much about it."
Sophia recalled the cutting. Heck, she would sometimes even do it with him, like it was some sort of game. She was incapable of feeling pain, so it hardly seemed any different than playing a board game to her, and it was what Kylemor wanted to do. So why not join in? But whenever Aergia would come home to Ku with wounds of any sort, he would not study her like the scientists had, like father. No, he would get into a panic, scold her for her nonchalance over the matter. It always puzzled Sophia, only comprehending his concern and words of warning on a surface level. She mostly avoided injury, or tried anyway, in consideration to Ku (and herself.) She would rather please him than be chastised.
The teen nodded and replied, "Ku tells me that cuts and stuff are bad. So that's probably a good thing you've stopped."
Aergia blinked and stared at the little doll outstretched to her. She had always liked cats and so she found it cute, whereas most might find it creepy.
"Daw. How cute," she crooned. Sophia gave Kylemore a curious look and asked, "Are curses fun? I've never done a curse. I've read about them, though. Just a tad."
At his question, the dark haired girl pondered for a few moments before giving a slow response, "Mmm... not sure. But I'm sure there's a shop with candles somewhere close. I hope so. Don't wanna walk too far." [attr="class","Aergiacover"] ❝ Nothing irritates me more than chronic laziness in others. Mind you, it's only mental sloth I object to. Physical sloth can be heavenly. ❞ |

Kylemor unconsciously would lean towards Aergia to be closer to her. To each of her replies the thought a bit about it. He wasn't stupid really, just a bit... off. Work wasn't that bad actually, probably because he's cute, and he usually got some good pay.
"552? Well there's a lot of fights and stuff... OH!" He smiles and looks extremely happy. "I get to do arts and crafts for my curses there!" Thinking another moment he put a finger to his lip. "Hmm... I get beaten up sometimes, so that's a plus... Other than that it's pretty dull." He makes a meep face (=w=) "I don't like studying cause it's boring."
He waited for her to absorb the information before he continued. "I don't know if cutting is bad really, but I've read things from the computer that it is." He shrugs as he smiles. "I don't get it cause it never really felt bad... it was nice..." The little masochist brightened up even more as Aergia seemed to like his cat curse doll. "Curses are fun! But sometimes they don't work... I think doing them is fun... They apparently cause people misery and misfortune, so that seems interesting. I want to see it happen."
Laughing almost in a cough he smiled wide. "You never liked doing more work than you had to." If it was him, when he got into anything he would try to make it perfect and go over the top. Details could be very important in curses which is why he started in the first place. "So you're gonna come with me?" His eyes light up in sparkles. "Yay! Family time!" As he says these words he freezes. What was a family even... What was his family... Very slight, but his smile wavered a bit before going back in place.
"I heard there's one two blocks away." Overall it seemed he was doing fine, if you called his activities normal. Though it was hard to judge the smiley Kylemor as he tended to get his emotions mixed up. "Let's go!" He wanted to grab Aergia's hand if she let him and led them down the streets of NYC. He knew which way he was going because of the crosswalk signs in green!

Aergia Sophia Jeong Sophia nodded as she listened, only interjecting to add a, "That's cool."
Aergia enjoyed arts and crafts, loved expressing her creativity, although she scarcely finished anything she started. She could not relate to wanting to engage in fights, mostly if not entirely due to her distaste for physically engaging. But also neither for Kylemor's reasoning. Pain was never an option for her, and so there was no liking or disliking it. She always wondered what it felt like, but wasn't especially bothered either way. Sophia was too indifferent to believe she was some sort of 'freak' and wish to be 'normal', or whatever it was that other people in similar, abnormal situations wanted. She was content as a test experiment and doubly content being with Ku. At least with him, there was more freedom which generally meant more fun. While school was a bother, it was nice to engage intellectually and to broaden her horizons for conversation.
"If there wasn't homework and we didn't have to wake up at the crack of dawn and get out of our pajamas, school would be a lot more fun," said she with pursed lips. Listening to Kylemor go on about curses, Aergia pondered silently. She certainly didn't wish ill will on others, so it didn't seem like curses were for her. Why put effort into something, especially if it wasn't something she wanted? But Kylemor was passionate about them and that was all that mattered, and so she gave him a smile. "Practice makes perfect is what I hear, although I don't know from actual experience. Keep trying and I'm sure it'll work~"
Sophia gave a nod of agreement, remarking, "I would rather Ku do all of it. Work is so... exhausting. Maybe I could make a living or have a class in sleep studies, and they can study me? That sounds pretty ideal."
She caught her friend's smile falter, sensed something was momentarily off, but thought little of it. There was scarcely any reason to pry. The older teen closed her eyes and nodded with as much enthusiasm as she could muster, which only ever really showed in the gleam of her eyes and the frequent smile upon her lips. She let Kylemor drag her, body almost like a rag doll, going in whatever direction he so wished. Sophia only really wished there was a bench or seat within the store he was taking her, so she could sit while he browsed. Although even if there weren't, the floor would certainly suffice, or leaning against a wall. Or him. She wasn't too picky. He nods as he listens to his childhood friend. Being able to sleep all the time would be a nice job. He knows Aergia doesn't like to do much that requires effort, so it would be his job to do all the effort! He would take his friend and go to the candle shop together.
When they got there he was amazed. The place he went before was small, but this place was giant! It even had a bunch of craft supplies (it was a craft store after all). Kylemor would walk around and hum as he tried to find what he needed. After finding many candles, he went to the check out line. Everything was fine really until someone walked in, an older lady. She marched right up to Kylemor and started to yell.
"Where were you young boy. It's fourty-two minutes past your appointment and it isn't cheep. If you can't behave you're going to have to skip dinner and go straight to bed..." She continued to talk, but Kyle wasn't listening. Grabbing Aergia's hand he would giggle and try to run off with her. He didn't want to go home, not after he just met up with an old friend.
If Aergia decides to go with him, he'll stop them in a back alleyway giggling. "That was close." His smile is still on his face, but at the same time he looks a bit scared.

Sophia Aergia Jeong The shop was massive and, upon seeing the size, her lips formed in a hard, firm line. There was no way she was walking all around inside. Allowing her friend to venture forth and find all he desired, Sophia stopped near the cashiers, leaning against a shelf and closing her eyes, occasionally opening them to glance around in curiosity.
Soon enough, Kylemor was finished and she sauntered over to him when he approached the check out section, hooking her arm around his. It was puzzling when an older woman entered and began screaming at her younger brother figure, and she furrowed her brows. An appointment? What on earth was she going on about? Sophia was certainly not afraid or all that worried--fretting was out of her nature--but the older teen was confused, quirking a brow as the lady continued.
Like a puppet, Aergia followed after the boy, following his motions, only due to him pulling her along, commanding her form through his tugging and running. She was not a speedy individual, not in the least, and so it was only because of Kylemor holding onto her that she was able to keep up. When the two turned into an alleyway and the teenage boy halted, she leaned against the wall and slid down onto the ground, leaning against Kylemor, the lids of her drooping.
Waiting to catch her breath and settle herself, Sophia closed her eyes, resting her head against the wall, and quietly inquired, "Appointments? Skipping meals and making you sleep? Us running... What was she going on about, Ky-Ky?" [attr="class","Aergiacover"] ❝ Nothing irritates me more than chronic laziness in others. Mind you, it's only mental sloth I object to. He had to tell her... he didn't really want to, but to keep their friendship, it was a must. Kylemor looked down as he kicked his foot at the dirt. "Umm well... So... You know I've been in the orphanage for a while now. Umm... I don't try to cause trouble, but apparently I scare people, so they wanted to put me in one of those institutes for sick people, but the orphanage doesn't have enough money. So instead, I just see this stupid therapist councilor person every day. Heh... It's pretty stupid, so I skip a lot and they get mad." With his little story done he just stared at the ground, unable to face Sophia as he was worried she'd leave him.
Then his gaze looked up at the sky. "I'm not crazy, or scary... I don't get it..." In that sentence, he sounded so sad, like he would break any minute.
