TYPES OF CHARACTERS There are four types of characters in this board.
• Students Students are the most common type of characters. They are also one of the two characters a role-player may make when they are starting off in this site.
Students start with a total stat count of 50, with a minimum of 05 in each stat.
• Civilians. Civilians are characters that may not enter the public high school board, or the after hours board without in character punishment. They are one of the two characters a role-player may make.
Like students, civilians start with a total stat count of 50, with a minimum of 05 in each stat. Unlike students, civilians may range from various ages from children to the elderly.
• Teachers Teachers are characters that frequently host classes. Students get rewards for participating in those classes. Teachers are allowed, and even encouraged to use corporal punishment on the students.
Teachers start with a total stat count of 250. You will need permission from staff to make a teacher. As long as you are active on this site for a certain period of time, the staff will most likely give you permission to make a teacher.
Note: teachers are not eligible for vote rewards, or any event rewards, aside from fight exp. Teachers are also not allowed to transfer anything in the user shop, ranging from money, items or custom tickets. They may buy from the user shop.
• Quest Characters Quest characters are the 'final bosses' of this board. They are often armed with extremely powerful items. Only staff may make and play quest characters.
Quest characters do not have to start with a fixed stat count, for the staff will decide upon their starting stat count depending on the importance of the quest character to the plot.
Quest characters have typically more powerful qi and ability items than a normal player character (students/civillians). They do not have to do any qi unlock, and unlike teachers, they do not have to buy any ability items, or qi, for they could just create them, simply to provide a higher challenge for the member base.
LOOT SYSTEM If a player character defeat a teacher or a quest character, aside from them gaining a standard 1 exp from fighting, they may 'loot' a single item from the said character.
However, they may not loot certain items.
a. Gang items that are not pillar, dragon or Enkauston items.
b. Some items from a quest character may be deemed 'unlootable' by staff, and a quest character may only have a maximum of 2 'unlootable' items.

PNPCS Every player on the board are eligible to receive one Personal Non-Player Character (PNPC). These PNPCs can grow in strength alongside their owners, assist in territory claims and events, and serve just about any purpose a standard player character would with few exceptions and limitations. Below, you will find detailed explanations on acquisition, growth, and utility for PNPCs.
ACQUISITION From the moment your character is made, (s)he is eligible to receive a PNPC. To receive said PNPC, the player must go through a trial similar to a Qi Unlock. This means either a one-shot post of at least 2,000 words in length, or some sort of GMed thread. At the end of this, the player may submit the thread to staff for evaluation. If the requirements have been met, the PNPC will be added. A player may obtain only one PNPC from this method.
On some rarer occasions, PNPCs may also be handed out as rewards for events. In this case, no unlock thread is necessary. In the event a player receives a PNPC through this method, it will not count toward the limit of one they have through an unlock thread.
GROWTH Every standard PNPC starts out with 50 stat points to distribute, like player characters do. In the event a player earns exp, (s)he may spend it on the PNPC rather than him or herself. However, PNPCs are one stat-cap tier below their owner prior to stat-cap purchases (meaning if your stat cap for your rank is 30, but you bought an increase to 35, your PNPC will still only be at 25), and they have fewer item slots which will be shown below. Players may buy standard, non-upgraded items (either +5 or an ability) for their NPCs, and may not spend CT or QP on them. High/Titan/God-Tier items cannot be traded to PNPCs from their owner's inventory. To make up for this, though, PNPCs may receive all of these through missions and events with the same chance of receiving them as a player. PNPCs earned through event rewards may be stronger than standard PNPCs.
PNPC Item Slots: Head Chest Hands Legs Feet SpecialUTILITY PNPCs may be used anywhere within a gang's territory for any purpose. Outside of the gang's territory, they may only be used for gang-related events. Any other purpose (such as fights) must be agreed upon by all parties within a thread. The list of approved uses ranges from territory claims and recon missions to major and minor events. At any time, a gang may only use three of the PNPCs shared between the lot of them. This means that, even if a gang has 20 PNPCs, they may still only utilize three at a single time for a single purpose. The same rules apply for PNPCs whose owner has no affiliation.
