A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Labored breaths pumped in and out of XV's lungs as she raced across the rooftops of the district, the alarms in the southeast corner blaring as she did so. Feeling as though she wore 100-pound weights on each ankle, she bounded as far and fast as she could manage. The shouting of the Apostles behind her grew further and further away, a detail that kept her pushing forward and caused a weak smile to form on her lips. Bare feet sliding along the ground as she neared an intersection leading into the next quadrant of the district, she could feel the rubble cutting into her flesh. This did not deter her, however, as she tucked her upper body inward and bent her knees, before leaping forward with all her strength. In a single bound, she cleared the intersection, and in the air she felt free. Content. It was a foreign thing to her, something she felt uncomfortable about enjoying so much, but knew she'd need - and want - to get used to; however, the moment of euphoria was short-lived. While XV did, in fact, clear the gap, her landing was far from graceful, and she ended up crashing through the weakened and unfinished roof of the next building. Slamming through the ground harshly, XV let out a loud yelp, then curled into a ball as she continued her descent. Her back slammed into a steel beam, causing her body to contort violently as she barreled down the next four flights before she finally met solid ground. Having landed face-first in glass and dirt, XV was bruised, beaten, cut-up and wounded. She was exhausted, and had not the strength to go on. More than that, though, she was free. XV reached forward, weakly, and slowly pulled herself across the ground. She had her moment of freedom, yes, but if she stayed in any one place too long, that was likely to vanish quickly.

Jack was having a nice dream. He was back in the old New York, just starting high school, and everything sort of made sense and he was making friends and there weren't public executions and brutal gangs of enforcers trying to hunt down anyone they disagreed with-
Until a loud crash suddenly broke through his sunny vision with a single blow. Oh wait, he was in District 552. Sleeping in an abandoned building, a stranger to most of the populace, and trying not to get his ass killed by the numerous Apostles and the absurdly strong gang leaders who opposed them. And something very noisy had just woken him up.
His head was ringing, and his eyes itched to simply close again, but he couldn't just go back to sleep. Anything that noisy around here either was a threat, or would soon draw threats down upon it. Either way, he needed to investigate, otherwise he'd spend all night glancing over his shoulder.
With a low groan, he picked himself up, stretching his arms out. Then, quickly hoisting the heavy backpack that now held most of his remaining possessions, he stepped out into the cold night air, sniffing for any sign of smoke. There was none. Couldn't be that bad of a situation, then. Cautiously, he prowled closer to the source of the noise, stepping with his heels before his toes to stay as quiet as possible. His senses were on high alert, as he searched for any sign of what might have caused the racket.
After a few moments, he heard it. Not a loud noise like before, but a sort of quiet shuffling or scraping. Was someone there? For a moment, he considered calling out- but if it was an enemy, that would just let them know where he was. No, best to sneak for now. It was coming from just around the corner, so a little peek couldn't hurt...
Jack looked around the corner, and immediately screamed.
Holy shit! He wasn't superstitious, but that was a literal skeleton with skin, dragging itself across the ground like something out of a zombie movie. He'd been expecting something dangerous, but not a freaking zombie apocalypse while he was asleep!
Except, zombie or not, it wasn't moving very fast. In fact, when he looked at it more closely, he could see that it was a her, and that she didn't look particularly threatening right now. She looked hurt, in fact.
It could be a trap. Knowing this place, it probably was a trap, or at least something that would get him into trouble later. But even in the middle of hell, you had to stick with some morals. Cautiously, Jack moved out into the open, stepping towards the crawling stranger before offering a tentative hand. "...Sorry about that, I thought you were..." No, no time to make excuses, not when she was in a state like this. "Can you walk?" She needed first aid, needed an actual doctor, but trying to bandage wounds out here would make them both sitting ducks. They needed to get inside somewhere, fast. Hopefully she wasn't in that bad of a state, but if he had to pick her up and lug her out of here, so be it.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | "What in the blazes is going on?..." The albino would ask to himself as the alarms blared, halting his stroll. Most probably, it might be someone running away from the apostles after getting caught doing an illegal act. He sighed, looking rather displeased of the situation as his face displayed a disgruntled expression. The sirens were simply irritating.
Aldritch continued walking on a faster pace, wanting to leave the area as soon as possible to avoid the ear shattering, infuriating sirens that blared on that part of the district. But as he turned the corner, he would hear a scream amidst the loud noise the sirens made.
"YOU!" He shouted furiously, pointing a finger at the man beside what seemed like a severely beaten up lady. The lady seemed to be alive, although she didn't look well at all. Immediately, he assumed the man did it.
"WHO ARE YOU!? WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO!? ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL HER!?"

| Ira didn't enjoy people falling out any more than she enjoyed falling out of the sky herself. She was barreling--racing through the streets herself as she heard yelling behind her. She panted as her teeth clamped down on her lips harshly as she ran carelessly into the scene, without comprehending Jack and Aldritch's presence. All she saw was a heap of...a human before her. She wasn't entirely sure what was happening.
Bruises adorned her body like garish christmas ornaments on the tree, and her weakened state merely invoked even more suspicion, with a barrage of questions invading the girl's head. Each question was less pragmatic than the last, but her expression betrayed no signs of sympathy while she impassively regarded the crumpled heap of wreckage before her.
Her fingers reached into her pockets as they fumbled about. That allowed her a stance of nonchalance, as she slowly relaxed the frown on her face to a facade of warm concern. There was just on caveat.
Ira was far from stupid.
Emotions never served her well, and aiding someone that seemed to be anxiously ripping herself from a situation, or even a person indicated that something was wrong. Wrongness needed to be investigated; each detail should be examined before she would...help.
Before she could speak, she heard a furious shouting behind her, and she slowly turned to watch a familiar boy--an all too familiar face, with ivory hair, seemingly on the verge of attacking another blonde boy.
"Al," She was faintly surprised, but his name came out as a hoarse whisper. She treaded closer to the girl, as far away from him as possible, as her heart twinged painfully.
"Al..Aldri-." She paused.
"Hexell, what are you doing here?" She asked almost flatly, pulling her entire attention on Jack, even her eyes, to avoid any eye contact with Aldritch. After examining Jack, her eyes would fall on the girl, watching her warily. Those gray eyes would flick to her face, her body, up the flight of stairs she had collasped from, and her ears and instinct strained to comprehend any nearby threat.
"She looks...don't go near her." She hissed, her voice betraying a small hint of wariness that was engulfing her. Her head whipped about, while she tried to sort through her convoluted thoughts, slowly and painfully.

[attr="class","post_box"] [attr="class","tetbox"] [attr="class","intext"] Only a few months ago, and Vivi was sharing everything she had with that scumbag of a woman, Piper. But of course, now that things hit the fan the lady couldn’t even give her a ride in her car that was longer than ten minutes. Vivi walked briskly down the sidewalk on her way to the apartment building she’d recently been staying in, uneasiness tickling the back of her mind. It was still quite a ways away, and she could faintly hear alarms and shouting in the distance. Vivi hated haplessly walking around the district. It always lead to trouble like—
CRASH.
Well, like that.
It wouldn’t be an issue if Vivi could tear herself way from it and decide not to take a closer look but she never did. The girl made her way into the building, first noticing two teens she’d seen at school—the white guy and the dark haired girl. Vivi had never seen the blond one.
She saw the mangled mess of a woman last and felt her gut wrench in horror, but only furrowed her brow in response. Her immediate instinct was to find a way to get the woman to a doctor, but she’d just come crashing through the roof and there was a lot of noise outside to boot. Was she being chased? If she was, it was probably by the Apostles… and if they didn’t like this woman Vivi didn’t really care. If someone had found Vivi in a situation like this, she’d hope for help.
Just as she came closer, she heard the brunette warn the others not to come closer. Keeping a distance of a few yards, Vivi came up along side of the group wordlessly and watched the woman on the ground. First things first… she needed to see if this woman would bite her hand off if she reached out to her. For now, Vivi wanted to see how the woman would react to the blond boy’s attempts to help her before making a move herself.

The scream startled XV and she jumped - well, as much as she could - where she was. Startled and frantic, her eyes fell first upon the blond male who approached her. She scuttled backward a moment, crawling only inches away before she stopped, half from genuine interest and half from overwhelming fatigue. This man, his concerns were written all across his face, and she could tell for but a moment and then suddenly she wasn't able to read much of anything. It made her curious, but more than that it frightened her. At the hand, XV's eyes fell on it and she simply watched him, lips pursed as though they could never be pried apart. He seemed kind enough, however, so it didn't take long for her to respond in the best way she could. Body shaking, her head shook slowly. He did manage to alleviate the tension she'd felt, as well, and this urged to reach out for his hand, until -
The Albino's roar shocked XV back into her frightened state and she backpedaled as quickly as possible, even attempting to continue as her back had made contact with a nearby wall. "D-D-Don't-" she started, the words barely escaping her chapped lips. "P-Please, he-" One by one, more and more unknown figures began to flood the building and the taste of freedom XV had cherished for but a few seconds had quickly withered away into oblivion. Her hands clasped her face and she curled up into a ball, shaking visibly and violently. Were it not for how dehydrated she'd been, she'd have screamed.
From outside, the five would be able to hear the sounds of footsteps - too numerous to count - storming through the area. By the sound of it, they were not far off now. "FIND HER! DO NOT LET HER ESCAPE!" A woman shouted sternly, before breaking off her group of Apostles into three squads, one of which was headed straight for the building the five were in.
"I c-c-an't, I-I c-c-c-can't..."

It took a fair bit of willpower for Jack to be patient and give the girl a few seconds to adjust to his presence, to realize that he was not a threat. His instincts were screaming at him to just grab her and run. But he held himself where he was, tense yet still. She was in too sorry a state for him to simply force her to move.
Just as the fear in her eyes began to diminish, however, a cry split the air, a roar of rage that drove the girl back into her shell and made Jack whirl around, eyes blazing. "Hey, cool it!" he replied, his voice furious yet subdued, "I didn't do this to her, okay? Whoever did probably isn't far, though, and yelling like that is gonna bring them down on us in an ins-"
Another movement caught his eye, and his head snapped to one side, quickly focusing on the two girls who had just arrived. There was shouting, too, getting closer, the yells like the howling of wolves in the woods, hungry and vicious. Jack didn't like this situation at all, but he saw only one clear option here.
"Hey you... Hexell," he said quietly, addressing the angry man whom one of the girls had also spoken too, "you wanna protect the little one? Take her and run. I'll stay back, and deal with anything that follows." He probably wouldn't be able to stop anyone, based on what he'd seen of the strength of people here so far, but he might be able to distract them for a while, maybe misdirect them.
He turned to both the young women who had arrived, looking back and forth between them. Could they be enemies? It was possible, but they seemed wary rather than aggressive. "You two... you might want to get out of here as well. I have a feeling shit's about to get hairy."

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | "I-... Defaire." He said, calming down a bit as she spoke. After hearing from the blonde guy, Aldritch would look at the girl, she did seem to be in grave danger. Aldritch looked at Vivi who too was currently at the scene. "I heard you're a fast runner ex pillar, can you bring her outta here?" He asked as he pointed at the girl that sprawled on the ground.
Then, he would look at the blonde boy as he heard the approaching footsteps of what he assumed to be the apostles chasing for someone. Maybe the girl was the one they were chasing? But who would know, he didn't see whatever happened before she ended up in a mess. The albino would simply smile at the bravery the boy showed, though bravery alone is not enough nowadays. They were the apostles after all, worse thing that can happen is to get shot in the face immediately, best thing that can happen? That would be having your very own public execution.
Saving a complete stranger might be a foolish move. But then again, they were the apostles after all, and they are public enemy number one.
Picking up a long steel pipe from the rubble, he'd bend the pipe until it would eventually snap in two. With each hand holding half a steel pipe with pointed ends, he would look back at the blonde boy and smile. "Do you have a death wish? Don't stay unless you have one." Then his skin would begin to glow a reddish hue as the pipes on his hands would be seen heating up, with the pipes starting to glow yellowish from the heat. "Because I certainly do have one..."

| Tugging her hair frustratedly out of her face, Ira regarded Aldritch with a sharp gaze and watched as Jack passed the girl to Aldritch, and Aldritch passed the girl to another girl. It was like a game of pass the parcel, and if the other girl did passed the girl to Ira, Ira was not above ripping off the girl's clothes just to ensure that there were no hidden surprises under her skirt. Aside from the standard ones.
Ira looked on indifferently while the blonde and Aldritch begin to ready themselves on the assault on the new invaders. After a second, she stared back and forth, from Aldritch and Jack in something that vaguely resembled a mixture of disgust and disbelieve.
"You..." She paused. "Pardon me, but do you feel like a pineapple?" She would inquire, genuinely curious about their sanity. "Do you realize that she--" She pointed a finger at Vivi "could literally run off with the girl- I'm going to call you graveyard girl, GG for short- and when the pursuers come, we could..just.. tell them that GG ran in the opposite direction, right? We could simply re-direct them, give these two ladies here some time to book it, and re-group to reaffirm and evaluate the situation?"
Shaking her head in another bout of disbelief, she would quickly scrawled, with a pen, an address on Vivi's right hand, assuming if the female allowed her to grab her hand. "It's a warehouse." She replied, while gently pushing Vivi's shoulder. "Inside there, you would see a trapdoor. Descend down the trapdoor, and wait there. We'll be there in a bit."
"Now.." She paused, and her eyes flashed, while she shoved Vivi with more force this time.
"Run." She hissed.

[attr="class","post_box"] [attr="class","tetbox"] [attr="class","intext"] Vivi bit her bottom lip when the woman was sent into a panic. It only made sense with the yelling and a group of unfamiliar people around her of course, but panic made situations a lot harder than they could be. Her gaze flicked to the Jack—the lady seemed to respond well to him until the pale kid started yelling. Vivi wearily ran a hand through her hair in frustration of the situation, and listened to the others speak. Jack seemed to be wanting Aldritch to grab the lady and high tail it out of there—in which case Vivi would probably just be on her way. But nope, it seemed he recognized her as a former pillar and had heard of her reputation when it came to moving quick. Anxiety rose in her chest, but at the same time, part of her felt relieved she could help. The only downside was if she got caught the woman’s fate would be due to her own failure. Vivi blinked and took a breath. She couldn’t let that happen. “You heard right,” she replied to the albino, “I’m on it.”
Vivi gently approached the woman doing her best not to look aggressive or threatening. “I won’t hurt you,” she said softly, “I’m gonna carry you out of here, okay?”
Assuming the woman allowed her, Vivi would scoop her into her arms and walk back towards the group to hear what Ira had to say. It was kind of funny to see the contrast between her and the two boys. They were so eager to fight and throw themselves into danger, but she practically gave them a smack in the face with logic. There was so much going on, Vivi didn’t even have time to respond to her new nickname. Ira took hold of her hand and Vivi cradled the woman with her remaining arm, allowing the girl to write on her skin. Finally Ira gave Vivi a firm shove and told her to run. “Alright,” Vivi nodded—a sharp bird like motion— and turned on her heels to dash off. She heard the voices and footsteps and deemed it best not to try and exit through the way she had come in. Instead she ran to the opposite wall and set down the woman to quickly slide open a window. Normally she might’ve slammed through the glass, but she didn’t want anyone to hear that.
Swiftly picking up the woman again Vivi would jump up, plant her foot on the window sill and launch herself out into the streets. When she landed, she’d take off sprinting down a side street to stay out of the Apostles view. Then she finally took the chance to take another quick look at the address written on her hand. By now she knew the city fairly well and was confidant she could find the area designated. But for now, all she could was run and try her best not to dwell on all of the possible ways this could go wrong—and she was sure there were lots of them—cause that’d only make her frantic. She needed to stay controlled. |

XV could hear none of the exchange between the four as it'd been drowned out by the sounds of her own sobs and hyperventilating. She could feel Vivi drawing closer and closer, and her breathing halted. Still as though she'd been deceased, the girl's eyes peeked from between her fingers to gaze upon the one who'd addressed her. While she was a variable, XV felt... calm, as she seemed to have much more innocent intentions than any she'd dealt with in a long while. On top of that, just about anyone was better than the Apostles. Weakly, XV nodded, and allowed the purple-haired girl to carry her away.
Dex Check: PASS
Vivi managed to escape the building before the Apostles could enter, though just barely. She'd clear the window, and find herself in a dark, empty alleyway. To her left, she'd see a clear shot to the street, though it was all the way at the opposite end of the block. In front of her, she'd see a building she could potentially hide in, though there were flashing lights inside. To her right, she could hear Apostles approaching the alleyway. In roughly five seconds, they would approach, at which point Vivi would see a group of three, with this woman at the front. At her left and right would be two large guards, roughly 6'5", covered from head to toe in heavy body armor and each equipped with a rifle with no slot for a magazine. They would not notice her until next round.
Ira, Aldritch, and Jack would see a group of three enter the building they were in only moments after Vivi did. In the middle would be this woman, with this man on her left and this man on her right. The woman in the middle would speak up firmly. "You see a skinny Chinese girl come through here? Bone thin, 'bout yea high?" Holding up her gloved hand a little over five feet high, she waited for a response, and directed her questions at Ira. The males watched Jack and Aldritch.

Jack didn't recognize the girl with the dark pink hair, but Hexell said she was fast, and appeared to trust her. To be honest, Jack did too. Where he'd come from, the Pillars had been paragons of order, forces for good, even if they were a little stuck-up about it sometimes. Someone bearing that title must have some merit. Thus, he offered no complaint as the duty of escape was passed on to another.
However, he raised his hands in protest as Hexell improvised a weapon and started talking about death. "Hold on a minute, when I said 'deal with them' I didn't mean fight-" Only now he'd been assorted into the same group as the other boy, and was being given a mild tongue-lashing by that most deadly of creatures: an annoyed, attractive girl. "But I said... I mean, that's exactly what I..." He tried to protest, but she was already moving on. It shouldn't have been a big deal, given that they were in a potentially life-and-death situation, but the misunderstanding brought an angry blush to his cheeks. Still, wasn't much he could do about it. Instead, he turned and whispered to Hexell, "Let's just do as she says."
With that said, the time for talk was done. The nefarious villains were coming, with their sleek clothes and cold eyes and ruthless minds, and it was about time for the fallen hero to stand up once again, arise with all his might and fighting spirit, and lie through his teeth in the hopes that it solved things.
As the Apostles emerged, he stepped forwards, standing in front of Hexell to hopefully give the other boy time to hide his weapons. Jack's face seemed to have lost all its composure, and his voice was fearful as he spoke, words tumbling forth one on top of the other. "Wait! We didn't do anything... we saw something come through, but couldn't tell who it was, I swear!" He turned to Ira. "You saw 'em, right? Could you tell which way they went?"

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Oh hey, guns. As soon as Aldritch saw the guns these men carried, the color and glow was flushed away from the albino as the steel pipes would also start to cool down and return to its original color. No fair, they had guns.
"Oh hey!" He said as he gazed at the steel pipes he was holding. "Oh, I was uh... Showing them my impressive drumming skills!" He said as he began to use the pipes to start drumming at random objects. He then looked at the blonde boy as he began to explain the situation. Hopefully, these apostles won't shoot em down.
"Yeah Ira, tell them where she went."

WHEN I WAKE THE WORLD WILL BURN, ASHES TO ASHES, SKIN TO BONES.
Ira's hair covered her face slightly as she waited, and allowed a few tense seconds to tick by, before she took a deep breath, and looked up at the people that had approached them. She quickly assessed their expressions, their clothes, their stances, even, while thought after thoughts of possibilities invaded her head.
Instead of displaying the inner wariness, however, a flush would appear on Ira's cheeks, and tears would begin dripping, bit after bit from her eyes. Her lips trembled, as she sniffed, seemingly on the verge of bursting into fearful tears. Her eyebrows would furrow, as she looked apologetic, victimized and thoroughly terrified.
"He was p-protecting me." She would whimper and point at Aldritch, explanation his weapon. "T-The girl c-came, and then she lunged at me." She whimpered louder, as more tears flowed down her cheeks, and dripped from her cheeks, down to her collarbones. Her body trembled, along with her lips, while she looked up at them, depicting herself as small and as vulnerable as possible.
"She was trying to hurt me, she was being mean--" Here, she could pause and take a small gulp, attempting to speak bravely. "I tried to p-push her off, and she ran there." She pointed diagonally, to her left, as more tears came gushing out of her innocent eyes.
Trying to pull herself together, she would rub her eyes and sniff fiercely, as she looked up at them, with cheeks that retained a deeper shade of red. Her tiny frame positively quivered at the thought of the other tiny girl, as she described the girl with convoluted vocabulary ranging from "Meanie", "Scarwi" to "tallwer and very skinny!"
Those fuckers had better buy it.
