[OOC:This takes place before the Liar Liar minor event]
Glassy emerald hues glanced solemnly about the shell of the former city that had become District 552. The young silver haired teen's normally happy self seemed to have transformed with the city as well. There was a part of him that he couldn't help but prod at his heart. That he was part of the group responsible for this.
But those thoughts weren't possible for him to keep. Xaier had to believe what he was doing was for the betterment of the city and that they needed order. Lawlessness had gotten them nowhere, quickly. Such a sad state to see this place in..
Face hidden in his hoodie, Xaier would continue to wander within the district. He couldn't help but want to put himself in their shoes. He felt bad. At heart, he was a good person and wished no one harm unless they deserved it. The majority of the people caught in the trap didn't.
A backpack hung on his shoulders, it's contents making slight noises with each step. Within resided a small amount of food and water, along with a few other basics used for survival. It wasn't a whole lot, but he felt a little was better than nothing at all.
His destination was already predetermined, at least the general area. If I remember correctly.. It shouldn't be too much farther. He had previously viewed security footage when he had noticed a small group of children, three to be exact, scrounging for scraps or anything they could find. Xaier had decided at that moment that he would help those he could, when he could. He might have been an Apostle, but he had to prove that not all of them were bad.
Eventually he had come to the location, an alley way off the main strip by central park. "Ahem.. Excuse me, Hello?" Xaier's voice sounded out, softly. There was no answer, but he had heard the tell-tale signs of movement and accidental bumping. He would speak again, trying to sound as empathetic as possible. "I saw you three searching for stuff earlier, please. I won't hurt you."
After a few seconds of silence, he would see three forms slowly working there way toward him. Two small boys and a slightly older girl. Xaier would give them a smile and take a knee, pulling his back pack around and dropping it onto the alley way concrete. Unzipping it, he would speak. "Here: Food for about a week, water for two- If you're careful with it. It's not a whole lot but.. You need it more than I do." He would push the back toward them and then stand a take a step back, slipping his hands into his pants pockets.
The look on their faces was enough for him. He would give a sincere smile, before nodding and turning away to head back out of the alley way. He would hear them thank him as he left, but would continue to move. Now, he was free to kill some time, though he still hadn't figured out just how he would be doing that yet.
