[attr="class","liklovstuff2"]CODEX is a gang formed by former First Pillar and Storm Dragon, Zoe. The group hails from Zoe's views of the Dragons and Pillar's inability to protect the students through her own weakness and their ineffectiveness to stop the tragedies of New York.

Character activities within CODEX will consist of training, sparring, nightly patrols and general hero-ing shenanigans while evading the actual law, such as police and pillars, who probably isn't too keen on kids running around playing hero. Communication is generally done via burner phones and most meetings of the group take place on various appointed roof tops across Island 552 and San Francisco. Be warned though, the group does take drastic measures. They firmly believe in sacrificing one to protect many.

[attr="class","liklovstuff2"] CODEX operates by strict rules. Because of the nature of their activities, these rules are enforced heavily. The rules were set in place in order to protect not only members of CODEX but civilians around them. There are also OOC rules put in place to ensure everyone can have a good time without stepping on toes.

OOC Rules

We don't tolerate those who give the staff any trouble. If you cause trouble with staff members, your position in the group is not guaranteed.
Always ask before joining a thread with the sole intent purpose of “saving the day.” They may want the thread to go a certain way.
Take your loses with your chin up. What fun are heroes if we win every single time?
Your in character actions will have in character consequences. So, think before you act.

IC Rules

Always wear your mask.
Be discreet.
Always use code names. Failure to do so will be severely punished.
Try not to distribute your real identity to members. If someone goes nark, we want them to know as little information about the group as possible. This isn't a hard rule, and you can tell everyone who you are, but we discourage it.
We are all equals, but some of us have more experience than others. Listen to that experience.
No killing or harming civilians unless needed to save more lives.
All new members must be approved by at least two current ones.
Any betrayal or actions against CODEX will be met with near lethal force.

Dress Code

It's expected that everyone will dress in a manner to hide their association with the school. Masks will be worn at all times. If hair is visible with the mask on, members are required to wear wigs as well. It is recommended to wear something one can easily blend into the streets with.

[attr="class","liklovstuff2"] There are three ways to join. The first is knowing a member who vouches for you and brings you in. The second is running into them on the streets and asking to join. The third is being approached by the club who may need your talents for something. All members will be tested in combat before joining. It should be noted that you do not have to be a 552 student to join. All ages are applicable. Below are current known members. If their real name is crossed out or otherwise not listed, then that means it is not publicly known even to other club members.
