A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Eyes wide and shaking his head in disbelief, Ozzie muttered, "We're all mad here, Alice."
People were changing shape, katanas, hurricane winds out of nowhere, fucking WOLVES?! It had all just gone from weird to David Lynch crazy in the blink of an eye. Ozzie watched as the others started to scatter about, some going after the little girl, others the Ira chick, and still others doing...whatever else.
Ozzie didn't wait around long. Fighting the heavy winds, he stepped out into the hall, seeing several of the boys taking off after Red, while the biggest one in all blue went scouring the house like he was trying to loot the place. Ozzie split the difference, staying near the hallway to keep an eye on the 'heroes' but also within earshot of Lex and the the katana dude. It was standing in the hallway, barely able to see in the darkness, that Ozzie took notice of the paw prints.
The prints seemed to lead into the house but just like the wolf vanished just after getting inside the doors. Which meant...the wolf was still somewhere nearby? Ozzie flicked open the small blade of his multitool, scanning the doorways and passages. The old woman was dead, Red was being helped by the others, but the wolf...
Ozzie put his back to the wall of the hallway. And rumbling through the wall itself...was a growl? Was the wolf fucking IN the walls...?
"Uh, guys...I don't think we're alone yet."

BE CAREFUL. THE THINGS YOU KNOW CAN RAISE HELL. ❝ Red would whimper as she clung to Xaier's hand the moment he reached her. Having someone seemingly strong next to her calmed her down but tears were still streaming down her cheeks as she trembled. Holding on to him as tightly as possible, she hunched up and her eyes widened in horror when she saw Ira and Lexington.
However, no one aside from the ones watching after her specifically would notice. With that, she tugged on Xaier's hands and whispered something through her trembling lips.
"I know who the wolf is please don't hurt him he is a good person he's not suppoed'teh be here please don't hurt him you are not supposedteh hurt 'im hes a good person i promise Red is a good girl she promise he wont hurt peoeple hes not bad." she whimpered.
m e a n w h i l e...Ira would find a door at the very back, leading right into the girl's room. The door was build oddly; it was unnatural for the door to be right smack against a random place in the wall, but it was. The door knob looked like it had been tempered with. m e a n w h i l e ...The village was alight with malice. The inn the students stayed in would be located on a hill that was 1968 feet off the ground. The hill overlooked a village that was tranquil, but this time, fires were being lit, screams resonated throughout the supposedly peaceful place, and everyone was scrambling out of their houses as two words were consistently repeated, each time louder than the last. It was loud enough to burst eardrums, to shake the heavens, and to send even the gods cascading down upon the humans. The two words were unanimously clear, and each time they were repeated, animosity and hatred grew like a disease."WOLF HUNT."
NOTE: DEADLINE FOR THIS ROUND IS 24 HOURS. THIS IS A FLASH ROUND. I REPEAT. THIS IS A FLASH ROUND. HOWEVER, IF THE GM (ME) DID NOT GET THEIR POST UP IN TIME FOR THE NEXT ROUND, YOU MAY STILL POST EVEN IF IT EXCEEDS 24 HOURS.

((Thankfully... Orion's dignity is nonexistent. Yay for depression no? Anywho...))
Throughout all of the chaos, Orion gratefully accepted the clothes offered to him, and quickly donned them. While he didn't much care for modesty.... It was fucking cold (Besides, Hisoka was an interesting character...). People were running about, there was much yelling, but Orion mostly tuned that out, listening outside. He thought he heard something... From the village?
What the hell? That can't be right...
Orion would wander past everyone, bag of stuff redonned (he had to take it off to put on the clothes offered to him), makeshift ghetto flamethrower held in one hand as he walked past the men, the little girl, the walls, to step outside and approach a point where he could view the village. After doing so, he began to correctly hear the screaming, the raucous noise, and take note of the fires being lit. Most importantly, he took note of the words being chanted... And whole "Angry mob made of an entire village" thing that was forming up. Orion heaved a sigh and darted back to the inn, the words and screams lingering in his ears as he burst through the front door.
"Better figure out what we're doing quick people, I'm seeing signs of an angry mob forming out of the entire village and from what I'm hearing, they're not going to be rational. Odds are they'll be coming this way, and I'd personally rather not be here when they are. Any ideas?"
While Orion didn't much care for the people with him... aside from somewhat Bel, he did care about surviving. He didn't fancy his chances with either the mob or whatever was in the wilds, so best bet would be to encourage the group to do something, and go with the group. And hopefully convince Bel to not be a fucking moron and interfere with the group, but Bel wasn't suicidal, Orion figured he could keep the man's focus so long as he pointed out that surviving was the only way to continue his psychopathic tendencies.

He had heard Kevin call out to him from behind and had decided to slow down a little just in case he did need back up. To be honest, he was running into this whole situation blindly. But he had caught sight of the little girl and when he neared, she had embraced his arm, before whispering something into his ear.
The ailver haired boy would crouch down, grasping the girl's shoulders as he tried to get her to look at him and calm down. "Red, right? Shh.. Your friend will be okay, K? Besides, what is there to worry abou-" Xaier cut himself off from speaking as he heard somthing pique his interest. At first he couldn't make out what was being said. But then, as if a chant was blowing in the wind, he would hear the words 'Wolf Hunt' over and over, growing louder with each repitition. Something strange clearly was happening here. "...So hpw about it Red? Let me- Us help!"

Jack's eyes widened as he witnessed all the crazy bullshit going on. Things were proceeding far too quickly for him to even react, the situation growing all the more dangerous and terrifying by the minute. As it all continued to escalate, he'd likely end up getting left behind and fucked over before he could do anything about it. As a human, he would still have stayed around to try and protect the others, but as he was now... nopenopenope, goodbye!
With a whimper, he fled, vanishing off into the shadows.

All the while, Kevin swallowed pride in massive gulps. Red was surrounded by a tall freshman with a temper who had to catch up with two men that he couldn't stand for varying reasons. However, personal issues took a backseat to their collective safety. Particularly, Red was finally corralled by the trio that chased after the little girl. Taking a few short breaths to get some oxygen in his system, Kevin kept his line of sight fixed on Red---Jesus. Can't imagine. There was a moment where he traced her sights to some others in the group, but Kevin wasn't seeing what this kid obviously was.
Right when Xaier made his proclamation to help the girl, another sound picked up on his ears---"Uhh...that sounds all fine and dandy, I'm on board and I'ma letchu finish," Kevin interjected, "but it sounds like we got some shit comin'. If that's what I think I hear...part of me ain't against it, but I dunno if I'm try'na be here when it happens. Fuck we about to do, Xaier?"Just to show he hadn't forgotten the name. A quick glance was thrown in Bel's direction; Kevin looked away just as fast and didn't even care to dignify him with conversation.

when you start liking pain things start to get interesting Having finally caught up to the girl, Belphegor's eyes continued to scan the area. Most importantly, he was hoping to have followed the tracks from where they'd come from to see if he could find the attacker's origin. The potential for further blood to be spilled this night was high, and he yearned for it, made evident by the lust shown clearly in his eyes. While he typically hid his malicious intent, tonight was a very beautiful exception.
"We should let them come," he cackled at the sound of the chant growing nearer and nearer. "They hunt just what we do, and any beast becomes much deadlier when backed into a corner. Let them lead the charge, and it will become that much more feral, desperate."
Belphegor clearly had no intention of helping young Red's friend this night. | notes & tags 163words Str: 60 Dex: 85 Con: 60 Wis: 85 Int: 10 |

Anthony sighed, looks like he won't be a hero tonight. Well, at least they had regrouped, more or less. Leaving the house, he saw the angry mob approaching. He heard his classmates voices, some discussing what to do, one saying to let things play out, and another crying, most likely the little girl from before. Sitting in the ground, the freshman wondered what to do. Closing his eyes, the youth started singing to himself. "When God is gone and the Devil takes hold, who'll have mercy on your soul?". As the mob got closer, Anthony stood up, a plan already forming in his mind.
Looking to the young man who he lent clothes to, the long haired boy said: "I don't think we can simply explain what we saw and hope they will believe it. I'll try to stall for time, since I'm new here, they won't recognize me as a student. Look for the others, maybe the little girl has something to tell us. Orion, wasn't it? Good luck, don't surrender until you die, and don't die until you're dead." The 'Wolf Hunt' chant got louder, soon they would be here. Grabbing one of his roses, Anthony started rehearsing his speech, hoping for the best.

While on any given day, Shoji would have turned his blade on the man as he swiftly approached him and attacked, due to magical GM powers and all da crazy shit and me being slow af sowwy crimson hues widened and in a flash, he found himself on the ground. There was howling winds, werechihuauas, little girls screaming bloody murder, bloodied grandmas, wolves, and everybody running in different directions. Blinking slowly, Shoji rose a hand to his face and shook his head.
"What the hell?" he muttered, pushing himself up and taking in his surroundings.
While there was residing wrath over Bel the Cockblock, he pushed it aside. The man was gone now and so were the rest, after the little weeping child another potential cockblock and annoyance that he sought to avoid, dumb brats. He could still check in on the lovely Ira. Brushing himself off, he would tag along the young woman, offering a reassuring and pleasant smile. It wasn't long, however, when he took note of the paw prints leading into the house. A smirk tugged at a single corner of his lips. A wolf among sheep, huh? Well, he certainly could understand that. Nevertheless, he was not particularly sociable with other wolves and liked the flocks for himself. Blade remaining close to his side, it would hungrily tear into any who would attempt to remove his lamb, present company included. A territorial creature, he was.
As he stuck close to Ira, his careful hues searched the premises. He had no doubts the dangers were close, even within, and he would be ready to bare his fangs and bite. Taking note of the peculiarity of the door, Shoji glanced over at Ira and nodded, readying himself in a stance to attack whatever may lay within as soon as she kicked it down.
Honestly, he has no fucks to give about the villagers. More lambs to the slaughter. May blood flood the roads. Huehuehue.

Wolf Hunt? Shit.
Ozzie heard the rumble of the approaching mob, even louder than he had heard the rumble of the possible wolf in the walls. Let others be the heroes he thought, I'm getting the hell out of dodge.
Dashing back into the boys' room, he grabbed his pack and made a run out through the hall, heading for the front door. Better to lose himself in the crowd than be caught in the crossfire. Ozzie raced to the doorway, calling out behind him as he went, "Sorry gents, you're on your own here!"
Reaching the front door, Ozzie prepared to yell to the rapidly approaching mob, but a sudden feeling of dread came over him. He stopped cold literally inside the door frame of the open door, staring into the dark night. Something was wrong. He felt that if he stepped outside now...something horrible would befall him.
Ozzie heard a dripping sound. Something was falling onto his shoulder. He smelled wet iron. He looked up.
The old woman was hanging from a rafter above him. Dripping down blood. "H...Holy shit!!" Ozzie screamed.

It was one summer day. It was one lifetime. ❝ [ ► ❚❚ ] listen before/when posting
Ira Defaire and Shoji Wakeshima would find a room that rejected the very concept of light; darkness seeped into the room like an inky black tsunami of anger. However, if they do progress into the room, both would smell the scent of blood, and feel molecule-like matters jumping about inside. Each 'matter', for the lack of a better term, felt grotesque and dusty, for they hovered about, much like quiet dust bunnies.Young Red would hiccup once more, but she lift her chin up bravely and begin speaking quickly. Each word was hurried across as she slur her words together sightly, mixing them in a melting pot of english as her lips moved to verbalize her thoughts."He's a friend-- Blue." She looked around quickly, her face hopeful that one of the teenagers might be kind enough to aid her. "He always come out to see me. Grandma doesn't like it, you see--she doesn't think guy friends are good because she says all men are pigs, and I wouldn't be a proper young lady. She keeps making me wear this--" She pointed at her red hood. "Blue is a really nice boy. He's only one year older than me," Her voice softened slightly, "and he always pick things like apples from trees or buy me flower clips. But sometimes, he feels sick and his body isn't very strong, so we usually climb up a tree, hide there for hours to talk." She swallowed."One day," She took a shuddering breath. "One day, last year, the village exploded; everyone wanted to find a 'wolf' because one of Mr Higgitywiggity's sons are killed. I don't remember much because my memories were really hazy and I was sick with flu at that time, but I found wolf paw-prints leading to the house. Blue sneaked into my house that morning, around 5 am, and the village was like this round 4am. I didn't think much of it because sometimes, it happens--someone's chickens or relative gets killed and everyone cries over them, but it only matters when someone important dies.""Blue might be a werewolf, he says he often goes out to the forest because he wants to find sweet fruits and vegetables for us, but I think he got bitten because Mister Sci-" She coughed and doubled over."Because the wolves doesn't like him very much." She looked away, unsure if she should say much about her precious friend. She hoped they would save Blue--he was all she had, and her heart thumped painfully against her chest whenever she thought about him.
"He comes here every morning, at 5am. The hunts always take place every week, and for two days every week, two people will die--one on each day. " She explained.
However, an image; memories would begin invading everyone's minds the moment Red finished speaking. Memory unlocked: Somewhere thick in the forest, beyond any infiltration of men, where wild animals roam free and trees were tall and mighty, an unearthly entity disturbed the calm of the forest. It was a place where it was arduous for the sunshine to break through and bask gently on the ground due to the canopy-like leaves.
The entity's presence were soft and weak, but it radiated fury and sadness; emotions that life knew to avoid, to stray away from. The stench of blood was strong, and it came from him.
He was a being that held the notion that life and death went hand in hand, and everyone lived to die. His overlapping fear of an eternal void was hidden by his perfunctory smiles as he watched and awaited their arrival rather painfully.
He’s a lovely shade of brown. The silvery movie light and dark made him look more colored. They loved his profile then, his long strong neck and perfect posture. He looked as authoritative as someone you might call Sir, and as beautiful and poised as someone you might call Lady. His silver hair and curved lips only entranced her further, but he was a forbidden secret; an ephemeral luxury with the promise of pain and pleasure, both given and taken in equal amounts. - - - Ozzie had his own battles, but his cries would fall on deaf ears. Nobody would hear him; he would lost his voice entirely for an odd reason. A pressure collided on his back, and a gently whisper would blow hot air into his ear and cascade down his neck."Don't ruin their fun, now." The voice softly warned, but should he turn around, the old woman would disappear, and there would be nothing behind him."After all, who would believe you, little little, ozzie?" The voice taunted and faded as the glow of the village expanded with the growing fires; the fearful shouts and the useless tears. The door Ira and Shoji opened would reveal a room with another door at the back that would swing open after a minute, leading them right to Ozzie after he lost his voice and heard another.Ozzie would see a mark hovering above Shoji, a word that echoed again and again in blood red, and if he whipped around, words will begin to hover above everyone's heads. Only he could see those words; everyone else remained blithely ignorant of them.Orion Smith: the unloved.Xaier Mccaine: the able.Kevin Alvari: the rash.Anthony Zain: the eerie. Aksel 'Bel' Lang: the damned.Shoji Wakeshima: the enchanting.Lexington Steele: the adamant.Ira Defaire: the deceitful.Anthony would feel a tiny acorn manifest in his hand, with a small slip of paper stuck from within. The slip of paper would contain a few words:"Do not trust the liar."
The bushes rustled slightly, and as the villagers raged on, the teenagers were enveloped in a world of their own, as mysteries stuck in a web of thicker mysteries. And even then, it was up to them to decide if they could, or would continue. While the other students of 552 were celebrating the end of a tyrannical regime, while they called out the names of gods that would not burn their tongues, these students were ultimately special; each stuck in an enigma of their past, present and future.
They were the cursed, trapped in a wasteland of empty promises.
- - - This round will go on for...hm. Well, I'll give all of you two days to post to this. Try to post to it as quickly as possible though, since the interesting part is coming up! If any of you need an extension since you can't make it for the deadline, hey, don't hesitate to ask me. I don't bite that badly. Lexington won't have a penalty for not posting this round.
Note: The injuries your character sustain will not be permanent in this event. The most I can get away with with you delinquents is a few broken limbs, rather unfortunately.
Jack, remember to check the rewards when the event ends!
I hope all of you like this round. It took me a while since my internet loathes me, but I hope it's a good round. Have fun!

Xaier listened closely as Red spoke. He had no reason to believe that she was lying. If Blue really was a.. werewolf and he was only a year older than her, there was no way he could let anyone just slaughter him. He would still just be a kid! He couldn't let it happen. After sheI finished speaking, Xaier would get hit with something- A vision of sorts.
When it faded, he would close hia eyes to remember as much about it as he could. Once he thought he had the details in mind, he would speak to Red again. "I promise you, Red. We can help keep your friend safe. I won't let anything happen to either of you. Show me where Blue hides." If she agreed, he would glance back toward Kevin and the unfamiliar boy nearby. Xaier had decided upon what he was doing already, if they chose to join him he wouldn't deny them. Looking back to Red, he would smile. "Get on my back. C'mon." He would turn so that she could climb on. If she accepted, he would then ask she point out the direction. The whole time he could hear the chat getting louder.

Lexington stopped what he was doing in the kitchen as there was no food anywhere and he could hear chanting, something about werewolves? There were no first aid kits in the vicinity and so he turned his attention fully towards the kitchen window and he now watched as Ira moved closer to the house. "What's she up too now.." It was then that he heard a door cave in, it sounded like it came from the other side of the wall where Ira was. Lexington stepped out of the room, looked up and down the hall and to the room across from him. It was silent in the house or at least the area where he was. He stepped back into the kitchen, opened the window and hopped out. Landing safely on two feet, the man re-positioned himself so that he was retracing the steps that he watched Ira take. This led him to the basement, Lexington pulled his knapsack off of his back and quickly pulled out his bright ass flashlight. He turned the flashlight on and proceeded to walk up to the door. "huh, looks nothing like your average door." He said to himself as he entered into the girl's room, however not before ducking as he walked into the room, he had to stay slightly hunched as his height was a problem in such a small room. He shone his flashlight around and came to discover two targets. Ira and Shoji, Lexington hadn't noticed Shoji previously and as such came to the assumption that Shoji snuck by when Lexington turned his attention away from Ira.
"I knew this place wouldn't be normal. We can never have a normal field trip huh." Shortly after saying this, Lexington felt a wave of nostalgia slap him in the face, the house didn't feel familiar, but the surrounding did. It was almost like Lexington was here in another life, but he quickly shook this notion off. Soon enough Ira and Shoji opened a door and on the other side was another student, however he looked slightly shaken up. "Students all split up, grandmother dead, no faculty present and we've been deserted by our bus driver. All we have to do now is solve the mystery. We're such meddlesome kids." Lexington joked as he stood behind Ira and Shoji.
