A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

[OoC: This is a one-shot lead-in to the two Major Events. Players may post in this round but may not change the outcome. All who post in this gain +1 Exp.] 10:00 AM, Wednesday April 13th. A letter arrives in Dr. Eckhardt's office, one which has an envelope that suggests urgency. He opens it, curiously, tearing away at the envelope to see what is that's meant for his eyes only. Much to his dismay, it is a simple letter, one which suggests people of San Francisco's disapproval of the students hailing from New York. The letter is a dire one which states that if the school is not closed down and the students exiled, the people would be forced to take action in their own hands. Immediately, Markus informs his security staff to closely monitor monorail activity and do all they can to prevent any attacks from hostile citizens. The students are not informed. The last thing they need is for people to go renegade and attack the public first.
10:00 AM, Tuesday April 19th. The coast remains clear. Another letter arrives in Dr. Eckhardt's office, from the same sender as the first. He opens it grimly, expecting another unpleasant surprise. He is correct. The letter reveals that the school's well-being for the previous six days has deeply aggravated the public and is inciting what can only be described as total chaos for the students if they do not leave the city. They are given one warning. Dr. Eckhardt is personally listed as a target for death if the school remains open in twenty-four hours.
7:00 AM, Wednesday April 20th. Security is significantly tightened all around the school. Undercover security guards are placed within and outside of classrooms, and in any areas students flock to in large numbers. All of these guards are armed. Nothing happens yet, but Dr. Eckhardt is taking no chances with his students' lives.
9:55 AM, Wednesday April 20th. The day seems like it is completely normal. Still, no harm is falling onto any students, and no suspicious activity is reported. Dr. Eckhardt tells the guards to remain vigilant, but they begin to let their guard down. Just when the school day seems the most normal, the monorail stops at the island and a large number of people begin to get out. The people wear nothing to indicate they are intent on harming the student body, but Markus insists security keep an eye on these people. The large group of people disperses as the bell for class rings, all heading off in various directions rather quickly.
People both Ira Defaire and Lexington do not recognize approach them, or at least walk in their direction. It's hard to tell which. A short, blonde woman walks Ira's way, and a tall Hispanic male walks Lexington's. The two bump into the pillars and stumble, reaching for the pillars' shoulders and backs to keep themselves from falling. Quickly, they apologize and hurriedly walk away.
Still, the day seems mostly normal.
10:00 AM, Wednesday April 20th. A large man, perhaps larger than even the School Captain, is seen walking down the hall toward the Pillar office without making so much as the slightest attempt to blend in. He steps out of a bathroom with a large vest strapped to his torso and makes his way through the sea of students with ease. He opens the door to the Pillar office and steps inside, where at least two Pillars are currently located, to his knowledge: the First and Second Pillars, each in their own respective rooms.
The spot Ira and Lexington were touched on the back moments before suddenly burn harshly, eating through their clothes and scalding the skin underneath. This lasts for only a couple of seconds before they explode, the blasts powerful enough to at least momentarily incapacitate any of these superhuman students. Only moments later, grenades are lobbed in through their courtyard-facing windows, and the large man in the main office detonates the vest on his chest, resulting in an inferno that devastates the office and rips through to the outside, where any and all students caught in the way are seared severely. The school is sturdy, though the explosions are powerful enough that they still destroy at least the Pillar offices. The First and Second Pillar rooms are devastated and leave Ira and Lexington in a mess of debris.
The explosions are the signal for everyone else. In the courtyard, the people who recently stepped off of the monorail begin to pull weapons out of their backpacks: knives, bats, pipes, chains, et cetera. Several people take their backpacks and run off to multiple locations, including the two who placed the bombs on Ira's and Lexington's backs.
10:10 AM, Wednesday April 20th. The rioters shut down the monorail so the students cannot escape. All hell breaks loose. Security guards are overwhelmed and beaten within an inch of their lives, and students are indiscriminately beaten or murdered. The rioters have one goal: Leave no man or woman of PHS #552 left alive.

FIFTY WORDS FOR MURDER ❝ Her body remained 6 feet under the stars, but eventually, Ira Defaire would be nothing but a pile of ashes, scattered uselessly about in the grass. The first pillar would explore her musty and decrepit office, with years of neglect manifesting themselves as the inch of dust that wrapped the walls of her room tightly.
As her hand rested on the yellowed pages of her book, she headed out and threw her book in the bin with an air of finality; exhausted and absolutely furious by everything and anything. The corporeal form that remained dormant for precisely 365 days rose proudly from the whisks of emotions coating her mind--from dark contemplation to incoherent phrases that tumbled out from it's mouth. It's commands were vague and unclear, but one feeling refused to released her from it's shackles, and the feeling was unbelievably clear.
Stamping her foot down and crushing the vivid green grass unfortunately enough to lay beneath her feet, her eyes dilated and before narrowing with fury the more she considered her options. She was fucking furious--furious enough to consider eviscerating every single one of them with exactly what she thought of them, from those ungrateful fucks that thought a simple "thank you" could ever compensate for the voluntary toil she input for them, before they promptly awaited for her to run to them like a little eager puppy whenever she's in their presence, to those ignorant morons that carry the brunt of her fury by taking her for, as the word says, granted.
She would've obviously detested their guts; it was painful to see someone attaining everything she desired without having to even work for it, to another--why, they even dismissed her for it was easy to only want someone when you need them, and even then, their help was deemed obligatory.
Ira was tired.
Tiredness was a small taste of impending exhaustion, and the bumping into her only fueled her cause for vengeance. The day, the month, even the entire year never went well, as per say, and as she focused her death glare on the lady, Ira brushed her off and kicked the dustbin-that now housed the book- angrily. She seethed, unsure if she should constantly paint a facade of a sweet, helpful girl--if only for show. It was easy to be a friend; a pillar; a lover. You needed words, and as long as you have words, you have power, and as long as you have power, you can do anything. However, she indubitably wanted to break a certain person--or two, or three-- necks, and she was sure that Markus would have more than just a few somethings to say if the First Pillar went on a wild hunt.
Stepping back to her office, she curled up in her chair and the emotions exited her as abruptly as they ventured in her mind, and she bit her lip so hard that she could taste the metallic odor of her blood.
And then it came.
Unable to understand what was transpiring before her eyes, Ira's body slammed against the wall and she crumpled on the floor. Her violet pupils were dilated and without much willpower to merit a superhuman feat to rise and fight back, she laid on the floor, numbly thinking of the questions rushing about in her hand. It could be anything--Lexington effed a girl too hard and she exploded, Kazuya effed a girl too hard and she exploded, or Macht effed a guy way too hard and everyone exploded. The possibilities were infinite, unlike every being that entered and left the school.
A roar shook her eardrums; it was louder than anything she had ever heard, and she felt her gut churned while the blood she tasted in her mouth was no longer result of lip-biting. Her hands trailed uselessly against the dust mites that fell onto the floor, while her heavy desk trapped her down. She wasn't even attempting to move then--she was simply laying down and listening; listening to everything that was going on, calculating her possibilities for survival, and acknowledging that it was self-preservation before all else.
The closet on her left split open as wooden splinters embedded themselves onto her arm. Explosives rained down on her, and her heart pattered swiftly against her chest, threatening -very much like the explosives- to crush her rib cage out of fear, confusion, with an undertone of wrath.
She would kill every single last one of them; she would rip out their collarbones and plunge those bones into their eye sockets, she would rectally infuse knives in them; she would tear their limbs into two while watching them writhe in agony, she would...
Pain seared her vision, and she blinked, blinded by her temper, her thoughts, and her resentment. Fear was banished into the darkest edges of her mind, where only hell lay, and blood began oozing slowly onto the floor. Ira took a shuddering breath that required too much effort, and black spots corroded her vision with pain. Her memory was crystal clear this time, as she remained quiet, unwilling to express even a tinge of discomfort from her lips. No whimpering, no gasping, no hissing. And that, was the first pillar's last thought as her world turned black before her.
She was the queen of tragedy, forever ruling her own throne. AND I'M EVERY ONE OF THEM. |

Xaier was obaervant enough to notice the increase in security over the last few days, but for what he had no clue. It could have been anything really. He had heard about one incident in particular in which a student had been grusomely murdered and a grim message had been left. Whether there was any connection, he was unsure. What seemed to be a normal day otherwise, would have it's silence broken. He heard the echoes of explosions of some kind fill the hallways of the school building. The sound startled him, but he quickly came to the realization that they could all be in serious danger.
Was happened exactly? Was there more of the same coming? A flurry of queations blew through the ivory haired boy's mind. His heart waa beginning to race. Whatever was happening, Xaier needed to keep on his toes. He would begin to run through the halls toward the direction he had heard the explosions come from.

 Well, that wasn't what Kevin expected to burn today.
Around the time everything unfolded, Kevin was skipping class. Half-shut eyes fixed themselves upon a brownie in Kevin's right hand, one that he nibbled on for the last 30 minutes. Everything was alright...at least, that was how he felt since he didn't have the mental capacity at the time to worry about much else. Another bite was taken from the snack as he took his time, savoring every morsel and chewing slowly. He had to appreciate his life right now: sweet treats infused with THC. What a time to be alive.
That is, until campus security spotted him.
The two locked eyes and suddenly, Kevin had to consider how much jail time he would get for being high, having weed in his backpack and skipping class. Yes, he thought at the time that they would throw him back in a juvenile penetentiary for skipping class. His eyes widened and he had a thought to run. Unfortunately, Kevin's body wasn't keeping up with his brain. In other words, in the time it took for the guard to clear half the distance between the two, Kevin barely could get half of his ass off of his seat. Kevin was certainly about to be caught until the explosion happened.
A thunderous BOOM roared through the air as both he and the security turned their attention to its source. Kevin recognized that hall from outside as the same wing that the Pillars' office was. What the fuck!? The guard looked to Kevin, took a double-take to the inferno spilling out of the building. He shook his head before he sprinted off towards the scene.
Meanwhile, Kevin was frozen in his seat---he found himself sobering up quickly, as the eventual mob of terrified students and the raging fire served to kill his buzz. As he came down, a mix of genuine worry and morbid curiosity took him. Next thing he knew, Kevin ran inside towards the fire.
I swear, somebody owes me an extra blunt for this shit.

Haven't you people ever heard of,
It was a nice day, and Gino's eyes were closed as he sat against a tree to enjoy the shade. The world was quiet, and Gino finds himself quite pleased with that fact as he eventually falls into a light sleep. A part of him was expecting this place to be loud at every moment, shouts reverberating throughout the halls and explosions booming in attempt to bring the beautiful architecture to rubble– Yet it's been quite peaceful, or peaceful to Gino, at least. (He's walked past a few fights and things like that, but really, it's more peaceful than he expected it to be. Peaceful enough for him, but not nearly as boring as peace can get sometimes.)
So it was a nice day, really, until a BOOM echoed throughout the whole school, the vibrations making his eyes snap open to attention as Gino shifts from relaxed to tense in mere milliseconds.
He watches in mute confusion as he sees something explode, stands up without anything to prompt him and now–
This is not going to be a nice day, it's going to be a day of chaos and carnage beyond repair and Gino, the poor soul, cannot help but lament as he looks upwards towards the nice sky. A part of him is annoyed, because who the hell dares do a terrorist bomb act today– Gino swears it's that 420 day or something, and he thought Americans would be celebrating by lighting up marijuana, not fucking schools, honestly, what the hell. Gino hopes whoever caused this gets beat up brutally and horribly, and he has half a mind to go and be that person.
He watches the fire, watches it burn red white yellow hot in a manner that adds heat to an already sunny day, and if he curses something enough to make a sailor blush in Italian, well, no one's there to hear him.
Gino knows better than most that peace is something that doesn't last, so he may not be particularly surprised given what he read up about this school, but he is sure as hell displeased. He doesn't know what's going on, doesn't know what's going to happen, but what he does know is whatever it is, he'll survive throughout this day anyways, because that's how Gino Reisi lives.
Because no matter how bad and dangerous and downright terrifying this day is, as long as he survives, he can just make tomorrow something better.
That's kind of sappy to think about though, so all Gino does is walk towards the chaos, posture easy and languid but also very very ready for a fight.

 Having noticed the steady increase in security over the past few days, Kazuya was mildly curious behind the reasoning, but decided to mind his own business. What the Headmaster decided on doing what something not worth poking his nose into, and would probably do more harm than good for him. As he stepped out of the main building and into the courtyard, heading back towards the Pillar office, the loud boom of explosions going off would immediately catch his attention, as he automatically raised both his arms in a semi-X shape in front of him, the ground shaking beneath his feet. His arms lowering, much to his horror, he would see smoke bellowing from the Pillar office in the distance.
The explosions... had originated from there. Macht. Ira. Lexington. Any one of them could've been inside the Pillar office the moment the explosions went off. That wasn't the only thing that happened though. The moment the explosion went off, people began pulling knives, bats, chains, etc. out of the backpacks on their back, and beating on the security guards that rushed the scene. He was torn. Torn between running to the Pillar office, to see if they had been in fact, caught in the blast, or helping the students, before these rioters beat the living shit out of them... or killed them.
... It was decided.
As the Third Pillar, he had to protect the students of Private High School #552. Rolling his shoulders and cracking his neck, with his gauntlets on his hands, he would head into the fray. These rioters came to their school, intent on murdering them? Not on his watch. |

| Siobhan rubbed her nose, scribbling down a collection of numbers and letters, drawing haphazard lines to certain sections of clumped words that seemed to have no rhyme or reason. Frantically, with the whisper of Sloane in her ear, the girl dug the tip of the ink pen into the paper until it was dented and black lines streaked about. Stopping only when her gut began twisting, Sloane whispering terrifying situations in her ear, the girl glanced up, giving everyone around her a quick look of the black rings about her eyes. Siobhan had forgotten to sleep. Again. And yet, it was the least of her worries, the paranoia ebbing away before finally she tentatively let out a breath and looked back down. Hair fell around her shoulders when she heard it.
At first, Siobhan believed that it was simply Sloane re-enacting a mortifying situation for her to suffer through. But those people, they weren't important to her. That didn't stop them from being slaughtered. For a long moment she stared at the chaos ensuing around her, eyes widening the more she realized that this, yes, this was reality. For a moment, a smile of relief passed over her face. Not yet. Siobhan still had a grip on reality. Problem was, Sloane had disappeared, and the girl was without guidance. Should she engage? Completely and truly Siobhan was utterly indifferent to the situation. New York was much more devastating than this, and it wasn't like she hadn't noticed the looks of distaste sent by pedestrians while she stared out the window.
Hell had opened its doors again, and Siobhan was willing to stroll in.

"Go to class or cut.." Lexington tapped against his chin with his right pointer finger as he roamed the schools hallways. Security was a little bit more beefy than usual. Lexington half-expected another pillar challenge. His beard, moustache and sideburns still hadn't recovered nor did his left hand which was currently in a brace from his fight with Xaier. Lexington's body had a knack for quickly recovering, I mean quickly like superhuman quick. As he continued to walk down the hallway another student accidentally bumped into Lexington, the guy grabbed Lex's shoulder and gave him a pat on the back, Lexington quickly shrugged the guy off. "Aye vato, what where you're going man" Lexington said as he turned his attention back to his plans for the day, he settled on cutting and so he made his way out to the pillars office. He opened the new door, the one that had to be replaced because of Kevin and he quickly made his way into his office. "Wonder what everyone else is up to.." Lexington walked over to Kazuya's door and knocked on it.. No answer, he strolled over to Macht's door and knocked on it. no answer. Lastly he approached Ira's door and knocked on it, he heard a muffled grumbled. "Yep that's her alright." He chuckles to himself as he makes his way into his room, everything was alright until his back quickly increased in temperature to the point where Lexington was writhing. He took one step towards his desk that had a water bottle on it. Then there was an explosion that erupted from his back, the blast threw Lexington onto his desk as he slid across it and onto the floor behind his spinning chair. "Arrrgggghhh!! WHAT THE-" With only enough strength to move his head, the pillar heard the very unfortunate sound of metal crashing through his courtside windows. Landing in front of his desk by the door with a 'ting ting' Lexington could see under the gap beneath his desk. Two grenade were thrown into his room. "FUCK!" All he could do was close his eyes as the second explosion went off, literally throwing the desk at Lexington as in a way it sheltered him, but still broke his left ulna, tore his right bicep and broke his left clavicle. He couldn't open his eyes as he had a feeling he wouldn't like what he saw, so he did anyways. As he opened his eyes the Pillar's gaze was met by a flash of fire coming from a tall shadow that quickly engulfing the entire office. The resulting third explosion just followed up with more broken bones, both hands pinned down by the desk and both legs simply too damaged to allow any substantial movement for a while. Willpower was trying to force Lexington to get up, move, wiggle, writhe, hell do anything. However the student laid there, beaten by a cheap shot. He couldn't utter any words as his ribs were digging into his lungs. He simply laid there and wheezed until after three minutes his body couldn't bear the pain of trying to keep awake. Face bloodied, shirt and shorts completely burned off, completely bald head, face and a broken nose. Lexington lay there in silence until he passed out.

His class was nearly empty... like 4 people...
A lot of people skipped, and the teacher wasn't going to do much to engage the few students who did decide to go to class… (The academic moral of the school was low - and that bothered Ethen just a bit…)
He should have just skipped and wandered the halls!
That way, when the bombs did go off, he’ll be right there in the action...
But instead - He was copying notes from his textbook, like the good student he was… -- only if he knew, his efforts would be in vain.

- At 9:50am, He was feeling ‘unstoppingly ambitious’- never did he take notes so earnestly. It was as if he already stole the position of the highest mark in the class.
- By 9:55 his pace slowed dramatically as his stomach growled... (a lovely reminder not to skip breakfast).
- By 9:59:59am, he was scouring through his wallet, trying to count if he had enough money for lunch at the cafeteria today...
Then BOOM -The bombs go off.
Quarters hit the floor...
(The explosion was distant but still frightened him.)
“W...-Was that a bomb or something? ...Aha...”
He joked awkwardly (...and accurately).
No one responded to him anyway.
As recovery, he responded to himself… (with sass): “...Well I’ll go find out then.”
He picked up his quarters, packed away his textbook and stuff and left the class… did the teacher care? No. Then what happen to his motivation to be a good student? It left -
The bomb was like a subconscious and… symbolic... signal; At that moment, more important things were to be done then copying text from an school book…

He left out the school from the nearest exit (one not that close to the pillar office…), and once outside he immediately knew something serious was going down -- (and here it begins…) |

Special Mission II - Start
Location: Island 552: Shopping Mall
It was a perfectly fine day, the same boring routine, the same classes, the same teachers, the same everything, but I didn’t mind. I had my fun times and now it was time to continue with regular boring life at a school for delinquents. The school itself looked like a paradise, so no one would ever think it was a school for the young people who did horrible crimes and were sent here to serve their sentence. Well, someone somehow noticed and suddenly turned paradise into a battleground.
I was enjoying my free period at the shopping mall, going grocery shopping because Murai was too busy pretending to be the world’s finest emo and Rochi couldn’t be trusted to go grocery shopping. Last time he went grocery shopping, he bought himself 20 boxes of Cocoa Puffs and a bunch of sweet treats (which he didn’t share with me or Murai) all for himself. I had to survive that whole week eating take out from a restaurant in the mall named “Chinese Fast Food,” which made my wallet almost die. As I was putting a loaf of bread into the shopping cart, I picked up the sound of chaos , which made Shadow start speaking in my head.
“...Trouble..,” he said, sounding like he didn’t care about students getting injured. I left my groceries and rushed outside, alongside a bunch of other curious students and saw the chaos. Ordinary humans were attacking the students and that sparked the anger in me.
Paradise was becoming Hell, Balance was becoming Unbalanced, and the Light of peace was becoming the darkness of war. Why couldn’t it just be another perfectly fine day?
