| "If there was a god, I would spit in his face for subjecting me to this."
Siobhan walked down the bustling street of San Francisco, with nowhere to really go, but anywhere but her motel room. The silent room had a tendency with lighting up the walls in hallucinations, the air conditioning broke while the temperature escalated to the eighty degrees of day when Knuckles was murdered, but most of all, it always ended with Siobhan somehow flinging herself down the fire escape stairs, rushing into the busy streets and trying to lose her identity amongst the masses of people. Today though, her mind was quietly ticking, scribbling the occasional note down, but her feet were simply trying to lose herself. Maybe hours had passed, but the girl wasn't necessarily searching for anything in particular.
Except maybe a permanent peace of mind.
Gradually, a familiar smell prompted the girl to lift her head from the ground, taking in her surroundings to be- a street fair. Surprise colored her face before a hint of fondness appeared. Fishing out crumpled bills from her pocket, the girl produced it to a vendor, collecting a traditional favorite of hers. Biting into the elephant ear, the girl smiled at it softly, enjoying the sweet taste and melted flavors while she found a spot on the sidewalk to sit down on. While having no interest in partaking of the fun, she was apt to enjoy others, who would be enjoying themselves. Refusing to partake of fun, but appreciate it from a distance- it was the kind of emotional abstinence that Siobhan practiced like a religion.
Funny though, even that god had failed to save her.
Cramming more of the powdered treat into her mouth, Siobhan tried to eat her bitterness away, but the tears didn't stop burning at the backs of her eyes. Finishing the treat quickly enough to leave herself with a dry mouth and a lump of bread sitting in her stomach, the girl wiped the back of her mouth before surging up to her feet, digging out another couple of bills. Her face was stormy, hair flying about her face, alarming the carnie, but the girl shoved the money in his face, and without warning reached down for the hammer. In a fury accompanied with a war cry, Siobhan brought it down forcefully on the pressure plate, hearing the satisfying ding of the bell being struck by the force of her hit. And yet, it came down another time, and then another, until sweat beaded her brow and the hammer was holding up her panting body.
Dropping the hammer, she staggered off, now embarrassed and still feeling the same frustration for her life as a whole.

The athletic teen with a thirst for adventure, hunger for excitement and a empty head to fill with experience was finally adjusting to the west coast life. Sunglasses, red Hawaiian shirt with white leaf imprint, khaki shorts and Chuck Taylors. Lexington strolled up to the street fair with a flier in hand, previously he was at a corner store and he saw this flier stapled to a telephone post so he swiped it and decided it would be worth a look. A street fair was a nice change of pace for the hardworking student, all study and no play made Lexington unhappy. " Cotton candy, chocolate covered pretzels, popcorn, corn dogs ughh I can't wait for this carnie food" Lexington stomach grumbled as it practically replied to his current mood. The hungry giant lumbered his way up the street's sidewalk as he made his quiet entrance into the fair site. There wasn't a whole lot going on, but some of the odd talents and slight attractions did catch Lexington's attention briefly. One in particular being a clown who looked like Ronald Mcdonald, he was blowing up balloons and turning them into shapes. He was taking requests and since there weren't many people around, Lexington decided to throw out an idea or two. " Hey man, can I get a balloon animal that looks like a bear?" He shouted to the clown, the clown proceeded to rub his chin in thought and then raised a finger to signal an idea, he blew up a balloon and began to manipulate its form, when it came out... it kinda looked like a bear. Lexington looked at the poorly made balloon animal and looked back at the clown, it quickly became an awkward situation so Lexington quickly scurried away. He made his way over to his main attraction which was the cotton candy machine, he pulled out ten bucks and slapped it down in front of the vendor and watched as the young man pulled out a thin stick and ran it through the mess of fluffy sugar. Every clockwise spin adding another layer of sugary, melt in your mouth goodness. " Yeah.. thats the good stuff, cmon, cmon!" Lexington was getting impatient and once the man handed off the completed treat, the impatient giant took his cotton candy and left. Continuing to walk through the crowd, Lexington's attention was grabbed by the man with a strength testing game. He walked up to the minigame vendor and began to pluck pieces off of his cotton candy stick. " I would totally play this minigame, but my massive biceps would shatter your bell bro" Lexington said cockily, it wasn't until he heard the bell ring multiple times in succession that his attention was quickly diverted. To his attention he would see a somewhat familiar girl grasping the hammer. The Pillar had a feeling he had seen her at least once around town, but his memory just couldn't bring anything up. " Goddamn Goddamn." Lexington said to himself as he watched the small female toss the hammer aside. She obviously had a chip on her shoulder and probably didn't want to talk to anybody, but Lexington just couldn't help but fight the urge to want to talk to her. Lexington caught up to the female and he began to backpedal near her, so his face was looking at hers as he walked backwards, probably not the best idea. " Well, well! Look at the muscles on you, I've been to a street fair or two in my day, but never have I ever seen someone ring that bell three times in a row!" Lexington chuckled as he continued to backpedal " Tell me, cause you've caught my attention! What's your secret to having such crazy strength, girl?" Lexington said as he finished his question with a smile, eyes still hidden behind sunshades. Tags: Siobhan Arden ,

| Siobhan blanched to a deathly pale color, her eyes widened in horror as an unmistakeable figure found an interest in her. Of course, she could just kick herself for bringing attention in a fit of rage, and now look. A hulking brute of a man, capable of crushing the girl with his palm alone, had blatantly stated his interest in her. Granted, it was a picturesque view that threatened to bring laughter to the surface. The poorly crafted balloon animal in some sort of shape she couldn't identify was hooked in the crook of his elbow, another hand holding a large amount of cotton candy. It really would've been funny if she wasn't fearing for her life. Distantly, she cursed not staying back at the hotel room where she could hate her life in quiet and misery. If her only consolation was her identity had yet to be revealed, Siobhan clung to it like a lifeline.
In the past, when she was much weaker than before, she had the capability of using words as her most lethal weapon, especially against those of this Pillar's likening. Once more, Siobhan reached far back into the past, pulling out memories to shroud herself in, hiding within seconds long dwindled down to zero, turning away from the light once more. A glittering, dangerous smile adorned her face, the invisible tiara plopping itself down on her head, a signature portrait of an old, dead version of herself.
"Homicide."
Siobhan replied sweetly, tilting her head, before quickening her pace to overtake his backward strides. Although she looked ridiculous having to increase to a near jog in order to escape his vision, body being so short and all. Somewhere, a snicker in the back of her mind questioned how effective those words really would've been, but she hoped the guy was the kind who didn't like to put up fights against haughty girls. Siobhan would try to cut to her left, slipping past the taller people migrating in throngs with her thinner body shoved through the small gaps. Her objective was to sneak over to the roller coaster rides where the majority of the massive people were clustered and lose the Pillar there.

Lexington didn't bite. " Homicide? Aww cmon thats a bummer man, whats with the negative vibe at a fair. I'm tellin ya just relax, have a balloon animal!" The male said as he stuck out his left arm and offered her the balloon animal that was in his hand. He had to change his stance and turn around quickly as she tried to escape, he also didn't wanna look like a massive creep so he had to be nonchalant about it which bought her even more time to run away. " Well damn, that didn't go over so well.." Lexington tossed the cotton candy and the bear away and proceeded to walk in the general direction of more fair games. " Well that was pretty beat, I wonder what else they've got goin on at this whack festival" He said as he strolled through the aisle of carnival games, he came up to a ring toss game and he stood up to the counter. " Alrighty, this is all me!" He shouted as he pulled out ten bucks and slapped it onto the counter. The counter clerk looked at Lexington. " Are you kiddin' me buddy?" The store clerk sneered at Lex, " Uhh, what did I do? Lexington asked. " We don't take money, we take TICKETS, buddy, its a FAIR!" The clerk emphasized. Lexington quickly withdrew his money and set off to find a ticket machine. Upon coming up to this ticket machine, a roller-coaster off about several car lengths away from him its lights attracted the young man. He quickly fiddled with the ten dollar bill, inserting it backwards, then having to remove it and crispen the bill against the side of the machine before putting it back in the correct way. A line of tickets began to spew from the ticket machine and Lexington eagerly retrieved them. " Let's try that roller coaster!! hehe" Lexington snickered. As he approached the roller-coaster entrance, he walked past the height limit easily dwarfing it and he got in line to ride the coaster. It was kinda sad, riding a roller coaster by yourself, but hey what else can a guy do? Anyways, Lexington waited for a short time and once he got closer he saw the sign that read "Strictly partner ride only." He looked at the sign and scratched his head, he was kinda screwed at that point so he began looking around. He turned to the guy behind him " Yo man, save my spot and I'll throw you like six or seven bucks." The young guy agreed. Lexington hopped over the railing and took off in search of a partner. As he searched through the people near the roller-coaster rides, he was easily picking apart faces as he was looking at the top of most peoples faces. " Who to pick, who to pick. Don't wanna land some weirdo." Lexington searched through most of the tall girls and began searching through some of the shorter ones, he began moving quicker and didn't really care about much of the things in front of him. It wasn't until coincidence struck and Lexington spotted the same girl from earlier. She wasn't too far away, so Lexington quickly strode over to her and tapped her on the shoulder hard enough to garner her attention. " Hey, hey I accidentally got in line for a partner roller-coaster and I need you to be my partner for just this one ride! Cmon!" Lexington would then attempt to ushered her towards the roller-coaster where his spot in line was. " It's only this one time, this'll be fun!" Lexington exclaimed. Tags: Siobhan Arden,

| [attr="class","harum"]JUST BELIEVE AGAIN EVERY MESSAGE IT WOULD LEAVE HER, THE NEXT WAVE CAREFULLY ERASED
| Siobhan, contrary to the front she had put up for the Pillar, was finding it hard to breathe as she fled from his sights. Only to her relief when a glance over her shoulder confirmed his non-existent pursuit did she finally allow herself to gloat over the small victory. It was hardly anything in the large spectrum of things, but to her, it was a small memento of what power she previously possessed. Blowing out a low breath, the girl swept her hair off her shoulders before making her way outside the crowds to another vendor selling a specialty taste for her. Her eyes barely flicked over the menu before pulling out yet another handful of dollar bills and stuffing them over the counter.
"Chocolate milkshake."
Ordering absentmindedly, the girl's attention wandered to the echoing screams coming from the rollercoasters. Just watching the twisted turns and spins made her stomach tighten in revulsion. No way, no how. Siobhan wasn't against heights or any sort of adrenaline boosting death-and-metal-contraption-of-ultimate-suffering. It was just... the control. Shivering from the goosebumps in the hot San Francisco air, she took her drink gratefully and walked down the sidewalk a lengths before pausing to focus more attention to the milkshake. Slowly, a permanence drifted underneath her skin, the buzzing of the crowds replacing her thoughts.
Siobhan's hand reacted before her body, the fingers once lightly wrapped around her milkshake now crushing the cup into chunks of runny chocolate and styrofoam. The Pillar had seemingly conjured himself out of nowhere, giving her heart a quick test of its durability. Just as she let out the breath that had been sucked in but not exhaled, a pit dropped in her stomach, eyes going wide.
"I-I can't get on that- I don't have a ticket!"
The girl laughed stiffly, shaking her hand free of the mess she had created and backing slowly from the Pillar. Her plastic facade didn't break, but anxiety was high-strung by the tense posture of her shoulders.
"Actually, I'm sure, there are definitely, a lot more prospective girls who are- oh I don't know, nicer, and would love to ride with you!"

His approach from behind provided a jump scare, Lexington completely forgot about how tall he was and how it could come off a little intimidating if he were to suddenly appear out of thin air. The moment he withdrew his finger from her shoulder, he heard a loud crunching sound as the Styrofoam collapsed, he was just about to peer over her shoulder when she suddenly turned around. What appeared to be chocolate milkshake was oozing from the cracks of her fingers, dabbing small puddles of chocolate below. At least he was successful in garnering her attention. She backed away and quickly became nervous, she began uttering something about not having tickets, to which Lexington reached into his right pocket and whipped out a stack of fair ride tickets. "What a coincedence you're in luck! I've got some extra tickets!" Lexington chuckled as he waved the tickets around with a smile on his face.
It still wasn't clicking with Lexington that he was making this girl tense, kinda seemed like she would freeze up every now and then to him, but he paid it no mind. "Stop trying to hook me up with nicer girls damnit, I'm asking you not them. Get yourself together and stop selling yourself short, fool." Lexington exhaled before he took a step back, he felt like she probably wanted her breathing space. "I think after you rudely took off earlier, I at least deserve to get your name and maybe a roller-coaster ride? They ain't bad ya know" He tried to trail his last statement off into a joke, but... it wasn't working too well.

| Siobhan felt her smile freeze on her face once the words finally seemed to settle in place. Dryly, she remarked somewhere in here spluttering mind that if her perception abilities had been this attuned back in the New York District, perhaps some people could've been saved. The thought was sour, and definitely held an accusing edge, so Siobhan shied away from it, choosing to ground herself in the present, where a more pressing and terrifying matter was upon her.
If there was a god, I would spit in his face for subjecting me to this.
Siobhan's pride saved her, as it always did, and the girl felt a scowl appear on her face, chest puffing indignantly. She had a winning streak of showing up the Pillars using wit not strength and she certainly wouldn't let a brute tell her to pull herself together. Suddenly intruding on his personal space, Siobhan leaned in to ensure he could hear her over the sound of the bustling crowd around them.
"I don't wait around for boys who can't keep up. You only get the name if you impress me."
Turning around, Siobhan started sashaying away, waiting for him to follow where she would stomp up to the first roller-coaster ride requiring a partner in a complete fit of anger and stubbornness. For the time being, her fear was drowned over the chanting desire to prove this guy wrong. Calling back over her shoulder, she spoke matter-of-factually, trying to appear undisturbed.
"Just because they don't track amusement park deaths anymore doesn't mean that they don't happen."

The game just changed. The woman that Lexington was chasing after had turned out to be an interesting find. After she finished cleaning the chocolate milkshake from her hands, the girl took a few steps towards Lexington, it was like her confidence multiplied by ten after Lexington had finished pestering her.
I don't wait around for boys who can't keep up. You only get the name if you impress me.
The last four words of her statement echoed in Lexington's head. If you impress me. He had a mental flashback to every time he was blown up, shot, stabbed, lit on fire, frozen in supernatural blocks of ice or even attacked by a damn male harpy and still lived. Coming back to the present Lexington watched as the petite female spun around and began walking away in the direction of the bigger rides... much bigger rides. "Perfect." Lexington said as his eyes trailed behind Siobhan, he wasn't so much focused on her as he was focused on her backside, but he had to power through his thoughts for now. The giant tossed aside being kind to the people around him and with ease he began to stiff arm people out of his way, practically clearing out his own path like he was parting a wave. No citizen could stand in this mans path as he followed Siobhan over to the roller-coaster she had picked out. Once she had settled on the ride, Lexington looked around before he finally stood next to her. "Well... If I want to impress you I've got to go big, yeah?" Lexington said before a smirk began to overtake his face. He raised his left pointer finger and singled out the Slingshot Bungee ride "If I want to impress you then we've gotta do this my way!"
Lexington gave her a nudge with his right elbow twice "I can see the sign from over here! Slingshot Bungee, go from zero to sixty miles an hour in only four seconds! Ride height tops out at 500 feet!! That's like-" Lexington brought up both of his hands and began counting on his fingers. "That's like me times one hundred!" He chuckled as he hopped in place several times out of excitement. "C'mon girl! Let's see what ya got!" Lexington shouted as he grabbed Siobhan by the hand and began to lead her toward the Slingshot ride.

| [attr="class","harum"]JUST BELIEVE AGAIN EVERY MESSAGE IT WOULD LEAVE HER, THE NEXT WAVE CAREFULLY ERASED
| Siobhan was fairly sure, at some part along the lines of time, that this could be considered a bad idea. Impulse... never worked out for her, and it always served to get the girl in much, much bigger trouble. At the moment, that "bigger trouble", was the Alpha personality hulking behind her, almost akin to a dog, but Siobhan felt that to describe it would almost be like a demon trailing after a maiden. Captivated by her beauty, the rebellious innocence of flower petals, all capable of being crushed in his massive hand. Perhaps the maiden felt slight remorse for tempting darker forces, far stronger than her, but at this point, to retreat was suicide, and there were still far more acts to play out.
Besides, Siobhan was confident in her choice of ride, if she recited the physics of the roller coaster to herself enough, eventually it lost most of its effect. Mind over matter effect. However, a heavy pit replaced most of her vital organs in first response to Lexington's sudden declaration. Ah, and now the maiden had been too fierce, and struggled to maintain composure.
"Go big or go home huh? Are you staking it all on this one ride?"
Siobhan mentally kicked herself for yet again flirting with the demon. However, a small smile flitted over her face when he began counting on his fingers, a childlike expression she had not seen in a long time. Chuckling silently to herself, Siobhan allowed him to pull her along to the other ride, laughing silently to herself at the looks the large man was receiving for his outgoing and rather ostentatious persona.
"Don't be disappointed if you lose."
