“Hey papa!” She said, her lips curling into a smile as she held her cellphone to her ear. She had been trying to reach her father for the last few days as she hadn't heard from him and he hadn't responded to her previous calls. “I'm so glad to have caught you! I was wondering if I might be able to come home for a visi-” Her face slowly turned to a frown as she continued to make her way to the forest. “Oh... I see.” She swallowed, an attempt to keep her tears at bay. “Well have you done the necessary paperwork to see if I can come home? I... I don't mind this school...” “Yes father, I understand... But... I'll still attend... I just want to live at home...” She gave a gentle sigh and nodded. “Yes, I understand.” She stuffed her phone into her back pocket, ducking her head under a tree branch as the young female found herself once again escaping into the Forrest. She had been warned, but she paid no mind. She came to the wilderness to escape her fellow classmates and find a moment of clarity. She took her time, bobbing and weaving through the forest vegetation. She made every attempt to step over twigs and crunchy leaves, keeping her noise level to a minimum. “Think of me, think of me fondly... When we've said goodbye.” She sang softly to herself as she sat down upon a wooden log. She used her fingers to gently click open the latches of her plastic case. “Remember me, once in a while...” She continued to sing, bringing the violin to rest under her chin and upon her collar bone. “Please promise me you'll try.”

Drevin was lounging about that afternoon, his back resting upon the grass. He had been busy reading a book, but now in the distance he heard a voice. Cobalt eyes looked up, ignoring his book as he caught the figure of a female making her way towards the woods.
“How curious...” He tilted his head, finally watching till she had disappeared from his view. What could a girl be doing alone in there? He sat there for a moment, till he gathered his things. He pulled his messenger bag and slung it over his shoulder and made his way into the forest deep.
He wasn't exactly sure what way she had gone, as he entered he was listening intently for any snap or pop of the forest floor. It wasn't till he heard the sudden stringed instrument that he smiled once more.
“What's this?” Was that... Ah yes. He nodded, slowly coming up from behind the dark haired female. He had recognized the beautiful song she was playing, and he took note of how well she played it. He moved quietly through the woods, taking a moment to lean upon nearby tree.
He listened carefully, and was elated by the sound of the violin, not to mention the song she had chosen. “ You play it so well...” He said, his words were soft. “It isn't everyday you find someone in the woods playing music from your favorite opera...”

“When you find that, once again, you long to take your heart back and be free...” Her voice was soft as she continued to play her violin. Her eyes were closed and she was swaying from side to side. “If you ever find a moment, spare a thought for me ... “
It was then she heard it, the sudden voice of a male.
She suddenly went very still, and turned to look over her shoulder. Her blue eyes found he young male looking at her. He seemed relaxed, his body leaning against a nearby tree. She swallowed, clearing her throat as she went to her feet. She held her violin in one hand, lowering it to her side. She looked over him, blue eyes taking him in before she looked away.
“I didn't hear you sneak up...”
She brushed a few strands of black hair from her face, she stood in the clearing, waiting for him to speak once more. She was wearing a blue hooded coat, zipped up about her torso. A pair of faded jeans hugging her legs. Long strands of black hair were braided and hung down the small of her back. She coughed, clearing her throat again.
She appeared to look rather uncomfortable, that is till he mentioned the opera. She tilted her head, offering a smile to him. He had recognized the song and she nodded.
“Ah, Phantom of the Opera! You enjoy it as well?”
She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, swinging the bow of her violin from side to side. “What's your favorite scene?” She said this with a smile, watching him. "I love The Point of No Return."
