welcome
Welcome delinquents to PHS #552. A few reminders, no rough housing, no running in the hallways, no cheating, and no talking back to your teachers. Beyond that, enjoy yourselves. After all these are the years you’ll look back on, and remember, you mother fuckers peaked too early.

A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Oh no! Nope nope nope! He's not getting away!
Being that she was already moving forward, Phoebe sucked in a breath and tore right after him, pushing hard despite her injuries and general soreness. If she got close enough, she would try to knock the back of his head to bring him down.
He wasn't allowed to get away and come after her again.

Saya pulled out her phone and called 911.
"By Rare and Ominous books Off Levens street. Four men are in need of an ambulance. Probably five."
And she would walk after Phoebe and the man who had taken off down the side street, but was caught by Phoebe in a moment or two. The punch would pitch him forward, causing him to hit the ground and roll a bit before landing on his back, groaning in pain at the scrapes and the blood on his face.

Rather than risk lowering herself and being struck, Phoebe did the safe thing...and used her foot - the inseam of it, like one might use on a soccer ball - to connect with his face, hopefully dazing or knocking him out, while he was down.

The kick fractured his cheek instantly, sending him into a deep sleep, the only reaction being his head whipping to the side. Saya would be off behind the girl.
"Cops are coming."

Phoebe let out a shaky breath and straightened, turning towards Saya and touching her nose, and cheek, frowning. Ouch. It stung, it hurt. She was probably cut up...and she was sure to have some bruises, even if she was used to training.
Now she wondered how bad she looked, but she offered a smile to Saya.
"...okay. Thanks."
What would she feel like when the adrenaline shot wore off? Probably pretty crummy!

Saya would pull some IB profen from her back and offer it to Phoebe, before letting out a breath and rolling her eyes.
" Come on. My office has some supplies."
She would start walking back toward the school, but take the other alley as the sirens were very close. She glanced up at Phoebe out of the corner of her eye.
"You know how to fight."

The brunette accepted the meds, cocking her head to the side and looking at them a moment before popping them into her mouth and swallowing with a wince. Ugh. Would have been better with water or something. But...as experience would have it, she knew it took some time for them to kick in.
She shuffled along quickly enough, only stooping to grab her bags and any items that had spilled in her struggles, as quickly as she could. Logically, she knew she should file reports, but...what good would that do right now? As long as she skirted the area for a long while...she should be good. They shouldn't know.
"...what did they want me for..." She mumbled before jerking and blinking at Saya. "Oh. Well. Yeah. I can."

Saya would keep her eye forward for any more ambushes.
"To recruit you. Or offer you a job on a corner. Who knows."
She was pretty direct and matter of fact about things, and whether Phoebe believed it or not, she was very pretty. If Saya stopped to think about it, she would admit she was probably a little jealous of the girls green eyes but...beauty was never something of substance to her. They were about ten minutes walk from the school, and Saya assumed she would have to fill the silence with something.
"Where did you learn?"

Recruit? Job on the corner?
Phoebe shivered a little at that and lengthened her stride a little.
But still, she was grateful for the conversation. "Here in New York, uh... Not too far from where I live now, actually. Before I started boxing...my older brother was teaching me things."
Maybe it was just because she was still settling from the rush of the fight, but she couldn't recall the name right now. Stupid, when she'd been going there for a few years, now.

Saya hummed under her breath.
"Probably East New Yorks Boxing academy. A large program there."
She would glance up at Phoebe, removing a clean hankie from her bag and offering it up to her to clean the scuff and blood from her face.
"You get far?"

"That. That, yes." She nodded, feeling dumb...and it took a moment to register what the section of cloth was for. But then she took it and gingerly dabbed, wincing at a bit of dirt or glass or...something lodged into a cut. She left that alone and moved on. The only thing trying to get that out would do while walking...was lodge it in further.
"Well...won a championship about a year and a half ago~"
She was sounding a little more like herself.

Saya glanced at her as she said she won the championship. Interesting.... a boxing champion at her school. Saya was not big on participating in combat. She grasped the mechanics, and knew she was good but a lot of it was due to her physical capabilities. She had grown up learning martial arts but it never really took to her. The skill there was not important. Her family was, and that was the only reason she pursued this line of work at 552.
"How many competitors."
She didn't like taking part in it but she liked watching. She would watch boxing on TV or UFC, and had a few favorites she enjoyed, like randy couture. She had been disappointed when he left.

"How many..." She wracked her brain for a moment. "Uh, I think...something like fourteen, at the time, in my group? I just liked to fight. The championship was something I worked for...but it's more a bonus. It's the challenge that I love."

Fourteen....and she won? Impressive. Saya would let out a sound of approval as they approached the school. She would unlock the gate and step inside, assuming Phoebe would follow, heading up the cobblestones toward the main entrance. Once they were inside she would head left, and then right, straight down toward the Pillar headquarters.
Pulling out the key, she unlocked the door, stepping inside and allowing Phoebe to follow.
"You can sit at the table. I'll be right back."
She walked into her office, unlocking it before hand and closing the door after. In the middle of the room was a large circular table where Phoebe could sit and wait.
