GANTZ

To show a little about how the it plays out.
Gantz centers around a group of people who die and are transported to a locked room with a giant black ball in it. They are given a chance at living again if they can survive GANTZ's games. The goal is to reach 100 points and when you do you are presented a list of options in which you can use your points on.
1. Free yourself - Wipes all memory of your experiences from GANTZ and your free to live as if nothing happened.
2. Revival - Revive someone that died, past or present, bringing them back into GANTZ to start anew.
3. Powerful Weapon - This could range from a melee weapon to a ranged weapon with special abilities.
4. Suit Upgrade - This upgrades the GANTZ suit for superior protection via armor and other abilities.
To gain points you must be proactive. GANTZ sets players in a real world location on a different frequency, so humans can be around, will see damage done to the world, but will not see the players or aliens that they have to fight. You only gain points for killing the aliens. The only other way to gain points is proving useful to your group in other ways than fighting, but provide less points.
GANTZ SUIT:
Gives a description of the suit and how it works.
-------------------------------------------------
I will be experimenting with setting up a dice game in the omake section for this. I would like to have at least 6 people to try it out with. It will be a little more on the hardcore side of things, with a high risk of dying. But the sheets would be tiny and simple.
I will be changing the setting from Japan to New York City. But the premise will be the same.
There will be no stats, instead people will get to choose traits. Each GANTZer gets four traits. For example:
Player chooses Strong as a trait. I will take this into account when they try to say pick up a car. A player without this trait would fail unless sacrificing suit energy to do so.
I'll try to be flexible and fair with the traits you guys choose and I'll let you know if they good to good.
Suit energy will probably be simple percentages taken away depending on the actions in which your character takes, or damage done to the suit. If the suit's energy is depleted the suit breaks and is unusable for the rest of the mission.
Any questions, ask away. I would like at least 5 or 6 people to participate in building an interesting cast of characters.
The people brought into these rooms are every day people. They aren't super soldiers or ninjas. Their ages usually range from 8 - 70. Male or female. Sometimes even animals appear.
So please, if anyone is interested. I may even draw maps and make up all the aliens myself. Sign up and I'll get to work.
