A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

A couple days had passed since Steven's first proper run in with Saya the first pillar. The book she had leant him had been read quickly enough in the first day, but Steven had been unable to resist cracking out a copy of Moby Dick, and reading alongside the book detailing the events that had inspired it. He knew that he had to return the book, it was kind enough of Saya to have leant it to him in the first place, and and idea struck him how to repay that act of kindness.
However Steven had been unable to find Saya that day, and as such had found himself outside the pillars office. He knocked but there was no reply, and Steven would tentatively try the handle, shocked to find that the door was already slightly ajar. However there was no one inside. He knew he shouldn't of but Steven stepped inside. Pulling a pair of books out of his bag, one paper back and another much larger he placed them on a surface top. Quickly he scribbled a note, folded it in half, wrote Saya name and place it atop them before making a speedy exit before one of the pillars found him there.
The first book was obviously Saya copy of 'In the heart of the Sea', however the second was much much older, bound in sage green leather. Gold embossed letter on the front 'Moby Dick.' It was possibly that she had already got a copy or read it before, but this copy was old, a collector piece of around 60 years of age, one of the many old books he had manage to claim from his collection before his father had kicked him out. The note would read. --- Saya
Thanks for lending me the book, it was a great read. I figured I repay the favour. I've always found that a book truly is a good read the closer to the writer the copy is. So here an early Christmas present from a non-friend.
P.S. If you feel you can't accept it. I'll be in the library after school.
--- As the note said that was were he would be. Waiting and expecting the Pillar to turn up and throw the book in his face after the way their first decent meeting.

Saya came back toward the end of the day, closing the door behind her with a heavy sigh. It had been a long afternoon, filled with several fights and people trying to get a piece of the "Untoucheable Queen". She was learning quickly to hate that name. Students would take it as a challenge. Where could you touch on Saya that she wouldn't attack you for? Word had spread about the times she was touched so people wanted to test the boundaries. She had broken two arms and a foot for inappropriate touching, and was forced to start hurting anyone who even poked her to stem the tide. That was what she got, for going soft. She recommited herself, taking a deep breath as she would walk over toward her office.
She noticed the package, giving a small frown at it before reaching out to take it. Reading over the note, her eyes would light up a little- she was, after all, alone- as her fingers touched the cover. It wasn't the oldest book she had, but it was older than her Moby Dick. She would stare at it for a long time, opening the cover and letting her eyes scan over the pages. She slowly closed it and stood there for several moments. Despite what the letter said, it was a gift from a friend. She would stick the book she had loaned him inside her room and walk out of the office, this time locking the door behind her (it was probably Mark that left it open).
She made her way to the library, trying to decide on the best words to use. In the end, she just decided to be as blunt and straightforward as possible. Hopefully...he just wouldn't touch her again. That probably wouldn't end well. She would walk into the library, her eyes training on Steven immediately. He was sitting behind a desk, which she would approach and gently set the old book down on, sliding it over to him.
"I can't accept this."
Then, she turned around and started walking back toward the doors.

Steven would look up and sigh as the book was placed down in front of him and slide towards him. He had expected it, and yet was still surprised when he shouldn't of been. "I can't accept this." She said plainly in a manner he was getting use to and turned to leave. Steven would carefully get out of his seat, and pick the book up gently in hand before following. His free hand would reach out as if to grab her shoulder like he had done on both there previous meeting, but hover in the air before it did so. She didn't like and even if Steven felt like it reinforced rumour that shouldn't be, he respected that holding himself back from his normal manner.
"Saya."
He would say, in a loud clear tone in order to try and get her attention without touching her. If she didn't stop and turn he would jog around her face her. He would hold out the book, for her to take. "It's only a book." He would say, that wasn't the way he truly felt about books though, he would be glad if anyone was giving him a book like this friend or not. "Plus I have another copy." He would add, not stating the fact that the other copy he had was a modern reprint. "It deserves to be in the collection of someone who had the interest to look into what inspired Melville, by themselves much more then it does on my shelves." Steven would try his best convincing tone, but knew that it wasn't something to swing Saya's thought so easily.

Saya kept walking, but slowed and stopped as Steven moved in front of her. She stared at his face rather than the book. Despire a deep desire to reach out, take it and bolt before he changed his mind, her hands stayed at her sides. Her face showed nothing of what she wanted inside, the girl pushing all of that down in order to keep herself in line.
"I appreciate it, but no."
She would then attempt to walk around him to leave. If he continued to press, she supposed she would have to give more of an explaination, but hoped that her direct and rather chilled demeanor would turn him off to the idea of pushing it. She didn't grasp the idea that everyone had to try and figure her out, and the fact that they were both confused and annoyed her.

Saya was a blank canvas to him, portraying nothing of herself, and Steven couldn't help but wonder how someone could keep it up. He knew that there was emotion down there, she had reacted badly, annoyed at how he had touched her in the pass. That probably had it's reason, but for an obvious lover of books. With an obvious connection to this book in what she choose to read. Well he couldn't buy that she could turn it down however he wasn't going to forcibly insist, no instead he said only one thing.
"Why?"
He voice all of his curiosity in that one single word. She couldn't have got gift often he knew, well at least from people at school. From her own mouth she had declared a lack of friends and people avoided her quite a bit. Would accept on gift really be that bad. It was at that point he tried to figure out why he was so interested anyway. He was always a curious fellow, but why her. Was it because she was a fellow reader, or was it something else. He couldn't figure out why he even cared.

She paused, then half turned back to look at him. She ignored the other people around her, trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt.
"You touched me. Twice. Because of you I have had more problems then ever before."
She reached up and curled her hair over her ear, revealing two piercings.
"People see me as going soft, they take advantage of it. In this school, you would be a liability to me. And that is more trouble that you're worth."
And she would turn around to leave once again.

And there it was, not her reason but his. It sung out to him through one of her words, it was one she had used before. Liability. He knew as friends being such a thing, he was only here because of it. Maybe she was the other side of the coin. She denied, he desired. Though it was slightly insulting to be term in such away, but if he really had been causing that much hassle. No he shook that thought away, as she walked around him to leave once more.
Well maybe he just had to do something he would never normally do to make and impact. "Way I see it, there is nothing hard about a title you never have to prove." Steven would say as he jogged pass her once more. However this time he wouldn't stop or face her. Instead he would jog pass a desk, placing the book down on it, and then just carrying on jogging. Straight out of the door, that she herself had been trying to leave through multiply time before he had stopped her. "But liabilities ain't renown for knowledge." His voice would trail behind. As he jogged, he just prayed that she wouldn't leave the book there. He wouldn't forgive himself if it ended up damaged because of that.

She watched him dump the book and take off, a scowl now working on her face. He was forcing her to accept it- which meant it wasn't really a gift. And yes, the casual observer would respond "She could just leave it there!" but the truth of the matter was, no, she couldn't. Not that she wouldn't or decided not to...she couldn't leave it there. She would be unable to live with herself. She walked over and picked it up, eyeing it for a moment before turning to where the boy ran.
He was getting more bold. She would have to shut this door with a slam next time they met, so he didn't think her so soft as to try something like this again. Still, she sighed inside, partly pleased. Despite how it was given, it was the first time anyone had handed her something meaningful since her parents died.
And for her, there was nothing more meaningful than a story.

It was low Steven knew, and he still hope she didn't just leave it there. But as she wasn't following to force him to take it back, there was a 50/50 chance that she had taken it and that would have to do. As he jogged away, he did feel bad. He knew that her reputation had been suffering because of his action, she had said so herself. However he had meant it whole heartedly when he had said that.
However once he had jogged far enough away he paused in a corner catching his breath, even though it was need to badly. "I try all things, I achieve what I can." Steven quoted from the book that Saya now held. Wondering how there next meeting would go.
