A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Prior to the the planned event, Lexington and several other students had been taping fliers all over the hallway walls, in bathrooms, on desks. Almost every hallway in the school was littered with fliers promoting Lexington's challenge for Rhett's spot as 2nd pillar. The teen exited the boy's locker room. The only thing Lex was wearing, were gold shorts and finger-less gloves. In his left hand he carried his black mouthpiece. The front of the shorts had several different logos such as Nike, Gold's Gym, UFC, etc. Lex performed a light jog over to the octagon in the center of the gym. He bounced up the steps and walked over to the Red corner. He briefly stretched his arms and legs. " Sometimes things need to change for the better. It might be today, it might not. That's the glory of it." Finally, Lexington crouched down like Anderson Silva and inserted his black mouthpiece. Now he played the waiting game. The 750 square foot Octagon measurements 30 feet across and 6 feet high, and was created with both safety and fairness in mind. Its walls and padded surfaces protect fighters from falling out (or getting thrown out). The wide angles prevent fighters from getting stuck in a corner with no way out. Since boxing is fought in a square ring and wrestling in a circle, the Octagon avoids giving any one martial arts discipline the advantage. While a fight is in progress, only the two fighters and one referee are allowed inside the Octagon. Between rounds, both gates are opened to allow the cornermen and cutmen to enter the area. There are two sides for the fighter's entourage. The Red side and the Blue side. In between rounds each fighter retreats to their respective side. If they last out the round.. Macht saw all of the fliers, a relatively amused grin. Lexington was a good man and a very capable fighter, but so was Rhett. The fight was one he definitely wanted to witness, though the absence of the second Pillar lately told him it wasn't going to happen. Still, a public challenge was made to a Pillar and at least one other had to watch. In this event, that would be Macht, and so he would find himself at the octagon as Lex prepared himself for the fight, or rather the lack of one, to come.
Many moments would pass and Rhett would still not show, much to the disappointment of the audience, and likely Lex himself. Still, this was a challenge denied, something Pillars just couldn't do, and as such it would be treated as a loss. As far as Macht was concerned, Lex had taken Rhett's title from him.
"I'm a little disappointed," Macht began, walking into the octagon. A smile was offered to his friend. "But as of now you can officially consider yourself a pillar. Rhett's refusal to show up to the challenge is a loss in my book. We just need to get you your "mark," or badge. Or whatever the hell you call it."

Lexington's face drooped a little, his time limit was up. The fight was considered a forfeit, but he would find a way to compensate for the undue competition. However, it was a refreshing feeling for Lex. Going from a star on the field to being a star in school also, it's weird, but with the new found position.. Maybe interacting with the students would be easier. Snapping back to reality, from out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Macht approaching his side of the Octagon. Lexington removed his mouth piece so he could talk.
"I'm a bit disappointed too, I was looking forward to a fight. We both know things get in the way.. But for now I'm a pillar man." Lexington smiled back at Macht before looking up at the ceiling light, after taking a deep breath he then focused his attention on his friend once more. "I don't know what it was, but ever since we started training I think you rubbed off on me man. I realize the importance of this position in our school. Hopefully I can live up to and even exceed expectations. Now...whats this about a 'mark' or badge?"

Macht smiled, approaching his friend and pulling a necklace from his pocket. There was a small engraving along the chain that read "Second Pillar," and it was one of the many accessories Rhett could have initially chosen from. He figured it'd work well with his friend, and threw it to him. "Put it on and you'll know exactly what it is." Lex was a Pillar, so he deserved the mark. Of course, Lex also came here expecting a fight, but since Rhett wasn't here, Macht was going to step in and fill that for him.
Taking his hoodie and shoes off and throwing them to the ring, Macht was left in nothing but gym shorts and fighting tape around his hands and forearms, and feet and shins. He stretched, turning to Lex. "Rhett didn't show up, but I'm here, so you're not really going without a fight, buddy," he smiled, shooting a few lightning-quick jabs at the air. "Show me how you've grown, Lex. I wanna know my team can have my back."

Lexington gratefully accepted the necklace. Placing it over his head, the obsidian necklace rested right on Lex's chest. Immediately he could feel power coursing through his large body. "Nice, Nice!" Watching the German toss his belongings to the side. A large smile lit up Lexington's face, his challenger would be Macht and he had no quarrel with that. Slipping his mouthpiece back in and making sure his gloves were still snug, Lex allowed Macht to finish his warm-up. When he was done, Lex would stare him down and crack his knuckles.
"Here I come!!" Lexington yelled as he ran towards Macht and led with a low sweep kick to the ankles in an effort to take him down. After completing the full rotation for a leg sweep the new pillar would then get roughly an arms length away and perform a front push kick to Macht's stomach.

| It shouldn't have happened but you let it Now you're down on the ground screaming medic The only thing that comes is the post-traumatic stresses Shields, body armors and vests don't properly work That's why you're in a locker full of hurt The enemy within and all the fires from your friends The best medicine's to probably just let it win These battle scars don't look like they're fading |
Macht did a small hop over the leg sweep, though he could see the force behind it as it was executed. A light gust of wind would come from the origin of attack, which told Macht that had indeed grown in strength. This was good. It meant his training was paying off. Grinning, Macht's feet connected with the floor once again, before Lex could finish his rotation, which gave him ample time to react to it. Lex was a powerful man, and his strikes were heavy, no doubt, but his speed couldn't compare to Macht's. The German knew that, and based on their previous encounter, getting up close wasn't the best course of action against a guy who could very likely overpower him. So, he was going to play it safe - keep his distance, react more often, and tire him out. When Lex made his kick, Macht dashed to the outside of the leg at the last second. He would take a firm hold of Lex's ankle with both hands, while remaining almost fully extended, pivot on his heels, and toss Lex to the walls of the cage. He'd keep his eye on Lex as he made the move so as to see any grabs coming, but using Lex's own force - which was incredible - coupled with his own - which was equally incredible - this was going to happen fast. words: 000 • tags: you • notes: stuff

Lexington observed as Macht caught his foot. It was expected and a bit of a poor call on Lex's part to go with a straight forward kick, but it got things started off. As Macht got into position Lex could conjure up the thought that a throw might ensue or a leglock. Lex readied himself to try and compensate for either move. As he got tossed he made sure to hit the cage with his side. No need for a back injury. Lex stood up and shook himself off. Placing both of his fists in front of his face, he began to walk forward towards Macht. Lex was planning on going iron chin the whole way through.
As he got closer to Macht, Lex focused on Macht he started sending a mix of jabs and haymakers at Macht with the intent of pushing him back against the cage. As he started punching he continued moving forward. Every punch had a little force to it with the intention of pushing the German into the cage wall. He lead with a right jab to the left shoulder, left jab to the chest, right jab to the stomach and a strong left haymaker to the right side of the body near the liver.
