A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

"Sounds like a plan," Vivi said in response the the trade off, then spoke in response to his words about his brother, "Yeah, you're real nice, pretty calm too. You have a brother? Interesting, it must be fun to have siblings."
She studied her soda can as she thought. It kind of felt like small talk, and it kinda didn't... it was weird. In any case, the boy was very polite and friendly, so it wasn't unpleasant.
"You've heard I'm on the nicer scale? Huh, I suppose that's good news. I'm a junior, what about you? I'd be glad to sit with you, you seem a lot more level-headed than most kid's I see running around out here," Vivi chuckled, "Better we get stuck next to each other than next to someone who wants to bit our head off."

Basil smiles slightly at Vivi's mentioning of his brother. Yes, Matrix was fun to have around, but sometimes he could be a pain. Though Basil knew that if Matrix wasn't there, then he wouldn't know what to do with himself.
He just continues to listen and answers as she goes. "Well I'm a sophomore, so that's probably why we don't have many classes together." He thinks for a second before continuing. "Do they have mixed electives here? If they do, then we'd have a chance to be together." Of course in context the phrase he just said sounds perfectly fine, though if you took it out, it's like it has a hidden meaning, but is that right?
Basil does smile at Vivi's last statement. That mostly is true. For him, he was almost always in Matrix's classes, and though he didn't go to school often; whenever he did, Matrix would protect him from everyone else.
He finishes his soda with one more sip, then throws it out. He comes back and just continues the conversation naturally. "So do you know anyone that I should meet in this school? I'm still fairly new and haven't made that many friends, so it would be nice if you could introduce me to some people? Or just tell me about them?" Now Basil did want to get to know some other people, but he also knew that when people tend to talk about other, they add their opinions, which Basil could use to his advantage.

Vivi didn't seem to find anything particularly odd about his statement. At this point she'd made up her mind for the most part that this guy was probably one of the nicer more docile kids around the school. She smiled in response and finished the rest of her soda as well.
"Oh there are lots of great people to meet, but a lot of shitty ones too. One person I can think of who's good side you'd definitely wanna be on is Macht Starke. He's a great guy in my opinion, but you do nooot want him angry with you, or to catch you skipping class. Then there's Sarah Crestwell, a total darling, you'd probably like her--and then there's Zoe Garcia, another really sweet kid. She's really smart too."

Basil smiles as Vivi starts to list off people. Yes, they would probably be good to befriend. Well they seemed to be pretty powerful since Vivi seemed rather high up, but they would also just help him get to know more people on a friend to friend basis. The more friends he had, the less enemies he would have, and the better position he would be in. Keep enemies close~ That was the key.
He laughs slightly. "Well I guess I should start coming to school more if I want to meet this Macht person. Then the other girls you talked about seem friendly. Maybe we'll have similar interests~" He tilted his head and just calmly carried on the conversation with no awkward gaps or pauses. Talking just came naturally and it's not like he was out to kill, it was just useful to know a few things. "So I haven't been to the cafeteria yet, since I normally skip school." He smiles. "How is it? Good? Or should I beware of mysterious grey lumps?"

"Yeah you're bound to at least see him at some point if you stick around, he's the school captain after all," Vivi crushed the soda can and tossed it in a nearby waste bin, "The two girls I mentioned are great. They can probably make friends with most people easily."
Vivi stepped back and stretched out her shoulders a bit, raising an eye brow at Basil. He skipped class? He and Macht proooobably wouldn't get along then, unless he just never found out. But boy, this kid was a smooth talker. Normally she would've left the person she was talking to by now, but Basil was good at keeping the conversation going.
"Nah, the foods pretty good. But you've gotta be careful when taking the last of a favorite dish, that starts fights. ...A lot of things starts fights at our school," she sighed.

Basil makes a mental note about the food. "Okay, so I'll just take the food that there is the most of then." He blinks when Vivi talks about fights. Sure he knew there were fights in this school, and that's why Matrix got them sent here, but he's never actually seen one. Now maybe this was just because Basil hardly ever went to the school, but fighting over food seemed pretty ridiculous to him. A small argument, yes, but not a full out brawl.
So next on his list he might as well ask about fights. This was mostly just for his protection, after all Basil wasn't the strongest person ever, in fact, he was particularly weak. "How often do fights happen around here. I know I'm not here a lot, but I've never seen an actual fight." He laughs slightly. "And I'm pretty sure if I got into a fight I'd go down in one hit, so how would you avoid getting into a fight, since you seem to be well informed about this school." The funny part is Basil wasn't even thinking about how to really take advantage of Vivi at the moment, but instead how to protect himself.

How often did fights happen at PHS #552? Oh boy. This place practically revolved around fighting, it was kind of sad. If this kid was as inexperienced at fighting as he said, then it might be a good thing he skips so much.
"Fights happen... a lot around here. Like, you could jumped just for looking at someone funny," Vivi replied, "Well, just observe, pin point, and avoid the more violent natured students I guess. And try not to look or act weak, that'll make you a target. Also, surrounding yourself with friends'll probably make punks less likely to pick a fight with you."
Vivi did her best to give advice, but she hadn't really thought about tactics for avoiding fights that much during her time there. When she'd first transferred, she resorted to keeping her head low, and her mouth shut, until Ty got through to her. That's when things began to change, and she found the will to make a stand. |

Basil thinks about it. So apparently fights happen often. Maybe he's just been lucky so far to not have run into at once. He took note of what Vivi said about friends. He then should make some more acquaintances to hang out with them so he wouldn't get picked on. He smiles at Vivi. "Thanks for the tips." He then checks his phone that just buzzed.
"WHY THE HELL AREN'T U HOME!" -Matrix
Basil sighs and looks at Vivi apologetically and scratches the back of his head. "Hey, I need to go home, apparently Matrix wants to see me.... So I'll see you around?"

"No problem, I'm happy I could help," Vivi said in response to him thanking her. The boy picked up his phone, apparently reading a text from his brother.
"Alrighty," she smiled, "Yeah, catch you later, Basil. It was a good talk."
She gave him a small wave before turning on her heels and heading back over to the place by the mat where she had left her duffle bag, mulling over what had just happened. Basil seemed like a really friendly, level-headed kid, something she almost never saw around five-five-two.
Naturally, that made her a little iffy about the whole thing. If he was in this school in the first place, then that alone indicated he had been some kind of problem to society. Then again, it wasn't unheard of to be sent to this sorry excuse for a school by mistake. Vivi dismissed the thought and the strap of her bag over her shoulder. It wasn't like it really mattered.
