Hello guys! As some of you know (or may not know) I make artwork for characters! I've made illustrations for other people before, as well as for myself (basically all of my characters are self-drawn, thank you <3 ) and to be fair, if someone wants art from me, I'm happy to make something for them! However, due to the fact that I don't want to be taken advantage of and get nothing out of working so hard on these pictures, if you want a piece of art, you've got to ask for it here and pay ic money for it. I'll try not to make you bankrupt, but higher quality pictures DO cost more--that's just the way it works.
Needless to say, please take a look at some examples and if you're interested, make a post below of what kind of picture/quality you want! If you have any questions please PM me, although I'll have to PM you anyway to get all the details to make your picture the best I can.
That being said, here are the rules!
High quality: 3,000 - 4,000Needless to say, please take a look at some examples and if you're interested, make a post below of what kind of picture/quality you want! If you have any questions please PM me, although I'll have to PM you anyway to get all the details to make your picture the best I can.
That being said, here are the rules!
Rule 1:
You ARE allowed to tell me to change something in the picture if you're unpleased with it (or if I made a mistake, please remember that I am human and also not that old/not an adult/not an actual professional working for Disney or something). I will try my best to fix my mistake before giving you the picture and being paid.
Rule 2:
Please don't cheat me out of this. To avoid that from happening, you only get your picture AFTER you've paid. I will put marks on the previews so you see the picture but it'd be ugly to use, and then remove those markings after you've paid. So if you try to steal my work, you'll have "PREVIEW PREVIEW PREVIEW" written all over it. Just so you know.
Rule 3:
Please be patient. Not too many people come to me with requests, but if you come to me with a request and it takes me a while to give the picture to you, please understand that I could be busy with other artwork or that I could be busy with irl things. I'll try not to make you wait too long, but if it takes some time, please don't be upset with me, I'm trying.
Rule 4:
Don't complain that other peoples' pictures look better than yours. I try my best to make every picture as well as I can, and though I've never gotten a complaint on this before, I just have to throw it out there in case you try to complain about how you like someone else's picture more. This also depends on the quality of the picture based on how much you pay for it. I've listen the qualities and prices below.
Rule 5:
Please don't ask for explicit drawings. Though I am fine with drawing certain things (I've drawn "sexy" characters before) I WILL NOT make anything that's not PG: 13 rated and is inappropriate. I don't think anyone would have asked for it, but just had to put that out there just in case some creep decided to ask me for a half-naked woman, or a man who's almost completely nude. Ew. Please, take that somewhere else, this isn't the place for that.
Rule 6:
I will PM you to get the details on your character when I draw them (and may ask for more things in case I'm unclear with something). You are allowed to make a character as boring or complex as you want (with some acceptations that I would discuss to you through the PMs). You must post on THIS THREAD the name of your character/title of the picture, the quality you're paying for, and the amount you're going to pay. Prices range from the finished picture to how much you actually have. If I give you a VERY NICE high quality picture and you only have 3,000 in the bank, I won't make you pay 4,000. But if I give you a very nice high quality picture and you have 4,000+ in the bank, yes, I will make you pay 4,000.
Likewise, if you were going to pay for a high quality picture of a simple character that doesn't have too much detail, I'd make you pay on the lower scale (roughly 3,000 to 3,500) or if your character is more complex, you'll pay more for it. If you pay for a mid quality picture (say, shadowed style) and your character is basic, you'll pay less for it, rather than using the same quality but for a more complex character. This takes us to our next rule.
Rule 7:
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE QUALITY OF THE PICTURE DOES NOT DEFINE THE COMPLEXITY OF IT. You could pay me 3,000 for a high quality picture of a guy who wears a tank top and black pants and is completely generic looking, and I would do my best to make the picture detailed and good, but the fact that the shading and drawing is more detailed and intense does not change the fact that you asked for a boring character to draw. Likewise, if someone comes to me and pays me 800 for a low-quality sketch drawing of a character who is extremely complex, the picture will still be a sketch and 800, but the character will be complex because... well, the price depends on the quality/style of the drawing, not what the drawing is.
Rule 8:
Please don't ask me to draw animals. You have no idea how badly I suck at drawing animals.
Rule 9:
Please give credit to me and the fact that I did make the drawing. If you're going to use one of my pictures as a FC, please post it in the FC bank and clarify that I drew it, thank you XD
Rule 10:
I really suck at drawing backgrounds so depending on the sort of background you ask for (or if you don't have a background, I'm fine with making pictures with little to know background) please know that this will take considerably longer to make. Because... well, I suck at backgrounds.
**If you have any other questions before making your request, please PM me and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
