Lachlan was walking through the school ignoring his classes, he knew he was too smart for classes anyway. Lachlan took to his own duties, such as napping, he laid down on a bench in the school and dozed off for while until he woke up to find it was lunch period.

Leodor was walking around the school, looking for something to satiate his never ending boredom. Skipping class didn't really bother him because classes had no impact in the real world where they judge you on character, appearance, and ability. Not book smarts.
As he was wandering around, the bell signifying lunch went off right as he passed by a napping kid on a bench.
"Poor bastard is gunna miss his lunch," Leo thought, "oh wait! The food is crap anyway. Would that make him lucky?"
Leodor was unsure of whether he should wake the kid, or just move on and leave him alone. Then the kid woke up.
Leo looked over and gave a surprised look. "You awake?" He said as he shifted to adjust himself in a more comfortable position to observe him.

"Hmm?" Lachlan looked over to the guy looking at, Lachlan heard only the words lunch and jumped from the bench "Lunch!? Where!?" Lachlan looked at him seriously "If you tell me where lunch is, i'll be in your debt. I'm super hungry!".

Leo started a bit. He didn't expect the guy to jump up so fast. He didn't think anyone could jump up that fast. He excitedly asked about where lunch was held which puzzled Leodor. In all honesty, the food was absolute garbage, and he didn't think that anyone could be this excited about the cafeteria food, so he blanked out a bit before answering. "It's in the cafeteria, over that way." He directed as he held his hand up, pointer finger in the direction down the hall.

As Lachlan jumped up he shifted in his mood, "Eh i'm not hungry anymore." Lachlan sat back down on the bench and looked at the other guy "What's up, my name is Lachlan." Lachlan flashed his signature smile.

Leodor was surprised at the sudden change in his interest. He looked at him and tried to sense what exactly it was that the boy was hiding from him in his intentions. He considered just leaving and not acknowledging the question at all, but he took the bait, hoping to find out more about him through conversation. "Hey, I'm Leodor and it's a pleasure to meet you Lachlan, to say the least," Leo introduced. "Say, why are you sleeping on a bench during class time?" Leo looked for any sign of the normal signs of falsehood in his expression.

"Bleh. Since my teachers say I'm three grades above my curriculum so I just skip class." Lachlan smiled and stood up "So, can we be friends, I mean I did just tell you some important stuff." Lachlan smiled at the thought of a friend and felt happy.

Leo was startled by the boy's erratic behavior. He didn't understand how being so far ahead was important information and why he should be obligated to be friends with him because of this. "Well, we only just met," he said with a hesitant look to his face. "Though, I won't reject the offer, I suppose." He wondered if this would be a good idea.

"You won't regret this one bit!" Lachlan smiled and started talking "So whaddya wanna do?" he looked happy as he had made a new friend which was quite rare in his case. He looked at Leodor expectantly as he waited for him to say something cool.

Leo looked at him. He couldn't understand the guy. How did such a naive guy end up here? Even more so, why was he so difficult to read? Leodor couldn't understand this at all. "uhh, sure, is there anything in particular you wanna do? We could go around looking for things to do if you don't have any ideas, because I don't really know what you'd like to do." Leo looked at him with a placid face, nothing to really express.

"You know anywhere that's safe to hangout we could do that." "But really we can do anything you want." Lachlan smiled and looked at Leodor still happy at the fact he had a new friend.
