A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AND SHE MISSED ALL OF HER CLASSES.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO..."
Jenesis slammed her forehead against her locker (or at least, she thinks it's her locker). A slightly crumpled up piece of paper was in her hand. She was the worst at directions (always was, even at 259) and managed to miss all of her classes because by the time she found one, class was over. OVER. And to make matters worse, her phone was dead! Why does that suck? Because WHAT IF SHE GETS MUGGED WHILE WALKING HOME?!?
She turned around and leaned against the lockers before slinking to the ground. She pulled the piece of paper in front of her and sighed even more. These were all classes she was excited to take- and, the school year was almost over so she was eager to get started. Final exams were coming up and Jen needed something to work with, no?

❝ | You told me your name when you informed me you were here So I'll continue calling it, to keep death at bay
| ❞ |
"No.... I don't think that's how chemical bonds work. They don't... no. Hey, let me talk. No... agh. You know what, just find me after school or something, I gotta run to class before I'm late. KBAI."
Finals were coming up, and it was easy to tell. Students, at least the ones who gave half a damn about their education, were in a panic, trying to study as much as they could in the hopes of passing their exams and getting the hell out of this school as fast as possible. Valo himself felt no pressure, but mostly got swamped with requests to help people study (and a couple to help them cheat, which he aptly ignored).
He was walking to his next class, passing down the hall when he heard a loud thud. He looked over to see a girl hitting her head against her locker before slinking to the ground. He looked around to see if anyone knew her, but there wasn't much but weirded out glances around him. She looked like she was having a mid-life crisis in her teen years, which being in this place, he sort of understood. Sighing and deciding to take the risk of being late, he figured it was a better idea to help someone who could potentially be in need instead. He could handle a tardy or an absence.
Valo approached the girl, keeping a comfortable distance from her just in case he scared her, and crouching down to be on the same level as her.
"Um, excuse me, miss? Are you okay?" WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES

At the sound of a voice, Jen turned her head to see a dude. Just a normal dude. Nothing special, not a face she'd be able to pick out in a crowd. Just an average looking, not a scary dude. Which was AWESOME. Because people here looked like FREAKS.
"I...am lost."
She let out a small sigh and showed him her schedule. Literally had ONE MORE period before school ended and she didn't make it to a single class. So it would be kind of nice if she made it to the last one but she figured she wouldn't really make it to that one, either. Maybe she should just ditch...
"I'm new."
Kind of crazy since school is almost over. Who the freak transfers mid-May? Augh.

...New? This close to the end of the year?
He was certainly surprised, but he made no indication of it on his face. He looked at the schedule she showed him, noting that the class was on the whole other side of the school. Yup, this girl was nowhere near there, and at her current state of getting-lost-ness, she wasn't going to make it before the day ended. Did she miss every single class so far? That would be an impressive feat...
"Hey, no worries. I can show you where it is. You're... kinda far from it right now, so yeah. There's still some time in the passing period so we can make it, and my class isn't far from yours."
He smiled and held his hand out to her to help her up. WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES

He's nice. TOO nice. No one else stopped to help her. Heck, no one stopped to help her even when she blatantly ASKED for help. So why was this dude being so nice? She was getting suspicious.
"Are you sure? I know it's finals week so I wouldn't want you to miss review days..."
She knew how the system worked. Teachers sometimes practically gave answers to some of the exam questions or gave super helpful hints. She didn't want to take away from this guy's education. Then again, it didn't seem like very many people cared about their education here, judging by the amount of fights she saw and purposely avoided throughout the day..
She took his hand and pulled herself up. Whew.

Valo had no idea the girl thought he was suspicious, holding onto her hand as he helped her up. As soon as she was on her feet, he let go, dropping his hand back to his side as he looked at her.
"I don't mind. I'm kind of way past everyone else in my classes currently anyway. I can miss some time no problem."
He was, admittingly, a giant nerd when it came to school work. He spent a lot of his free time studying, so class wasn't too big a deal to him. He gestured down the hall.
"We'll have to head this way to get to your class."
He said, and if she started walking, he would too.

She had two options. Risk her life...or her grades. This must have been what Hermione Grainger felt like in Harry Potter. Anyway. She walked in the general direction and decided to make up some small talk. Jenesis hated small talk...but she had to pass the time, right? But even before that...
"So... I'm Jenesis! What's your name?"

(OOC: Lmao... I was looking for this thread in the school section and was wondering why I couldn't find it. I didn't realize it was in After Hours the whole time. My bad. Dx)
Small talk was something he didn't mind, at least with certain people. The girl seemed likeable enough so far, though there was just about nothing to go off of other than the fact she seemed aloof and had a worse sense of direction than a blind man trying to read a map. But you know, likeable.
"Jenesis, huh? That's a nice name." He commented with a friendly smile in her direction, though he had no idea it had a different spelling than what he was used to. "My name's Valo. Valo Morei. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Walking down the hall with her, he had to wonder... "You said you were new. How come you transferred so late in the year? If you don't mind me asking, that is."

"Valo? Cool. Dunno anyone else named that."
It wasn't everyday she met someone with a unique name. Most people she met had those generic names... Like... Eric. Or Brandon. (LOL) But anyway, he asked about why she transferred so late- a good question to ask. She would have been more suspicious if he didn't.
"I had problems at my old school and neighborhood. My dad got worried for me so we packed everything and left."
Hm... Well, it wasn't a lie. Media kept chasing her around and papa got pissed because they wouldn't leave her alone. They still have their old home there- papa says something about investing because houses in California are freaking expensive.
"Probably the worst possible time to move... But I took diagnostic tests to see where I stand academically for all my classes...as if my grades from my other school weren't enough."
She huffed, a little bitter. But whatever- she passed with flying colors.
"This school fights as much as my other one. Do you guys use the pillar system here, too?"

Lachlan looked down at his phone, it was his favorite class and he was gonna be late! He looked at his skateboard and said "Eh, why the hell not?" he started riding down the hall until he saw two people, he tried to go to the right but if he did he would run into more people, "H-hey guys watch out!" he rode is skateboard into the new students as he held on for dear life.

(OOC: Lmao. I can't say the same about your name being generic. >_>)
"Yeah, I guess it's a pretty unique name."
It was a self-given name, a way to hide from his past and disassociate himself from his parents. He was really named Adrian, but minus for a select few individuals, he hardly ever introduced himself as such. Most people (Macht) using that name just made him cringe.
"It's a little disheartening to know that there's other schools like this out there, but I've been to one myself... Hopefully, you won't run into any trouble here, though."
It was wishful thinking. #552 was a den of anger just swelling, biding its time before it exploded into a huge disaster. The most anyone could hope for was to graduate peacefully and leave this place behind for good.
"The Pillars... yeah, we have them here. They seem to be good people." Shugo and Vivi were his brother and sister. Lexington seemed like a decent guy, and Macht wasn't as much of an asshole as he let on. Much different people than the kinds of Pillars he heard about from other places. "That said... don't let them catch you ditching class or anything. They crack down. Hard."
It was then he heard someone yelling from behind them, turning around to see a kid on a skateboard losing control. Gritting his teeth, he stuck his foot out to catch the skateboard and bring it to a sudden halt, shooting his left arm out to catch the kid before he went flying. If he caught him successfully, Valo would set him onto the ground gently.
"... This is the kind of thing the Pillars will break someone for, or worse. You shouldn't be riding that around here."

"If the pillars break someone 'or worse' for riding a skateboard in the halls, then I'm not sure if I agree with what you consider 'good' to be."
At her old school, the pillars were known to be the keepers of peace in school and on school property. They didn't really pick fights unless necessary- or at least, she couldn't remember them doing so. Then again, they had some weird psychopaths at her school; people who thought they were Greek gods and goddesses. Maybe they just didn't have the time.
"I don't plan on getting in trouble... I mostly stay out of sight. I don't really like standing out."
And she didn't. And she kind of hoped he wouldn't ask why.
"Maybe I'll make a ruckus my senior year, when it won't matter that much. Like the last day. Just go ham, you know? With water guns filled with...mustard, or something..." A pause. "Something...diabolical, tee-hee."
