A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

It was about nine at night. Most of the school had gone to bed, a few people here and there just wandering the halls. They had thirty minutes, by the law, and so Saya had no reason to patrol. Still, the overall emptiness was there. She was glad for that. The shadows of the hall comforted her. She closed the door to the art department, leaving it open just a crack in case she heard something going down. She grabbed herself an easel, some paints and a pallete. She set up a canvas, and glanced at the door before dabbing the brush into some color. She'd block out the world, and start her painting. ******************************************************************* About three hours later, she finished her speed painting. Or, speedy for the kind of painting she did. It was an exact replica of San Giorgio Maggiore at Dusk, a painting by Claude Monet. Saya wiped the back of her wrist on her forehead, her hands a little colored but the rest of her otherwise clean. She checked the clock and blinked. It was almost midnight!? She missed her patrol. Oh well. It wasn't like she was required to do so after dark. She set down her paints and would walk over to the cupboard. Reached inside, she would pop a small can of black paint the size of a can of beans. Unless interrupted, she'd walk over to the canvas and toss paint onto it, blotting out her "masterpiece". She'd use a large, wide brush to plaster over her creation, until the end it just looked like a smear on the tarp.

Study study punch-a-bag skip rope etch-a-sketch sketch sketch~
Or so it went for Phoebe, anyway. It was actually better for her to change the scenery every once in a while. And this once in a while meant she utilized the school's library and gym before heading back to the library, again, her hair in a damp bun. She lost herself in blueprints of sorts oh graph paper. Right angles, degrees, pillars, balconies, houses, offices...and by the time she looked, dismayed, at the last bit of her pencil - which had already been wearing super tiny - she noticed it was nearly midnight.
And she didn't have any pencils on hand! She was going to have to go buy more, but...
Phoebe bit her lip and scoured the library. No graphite pencils to be found. But one place, one place would have them. Picking and packing her stuff up, she booked it like a thief in the night - but not a joker - to the art department.
And when she saw the painting through the crack in the door, she paused. The colours were lovely. Bright. Lively. Exquisi--Saya? Phoebe sucked in a breath. Did Saya do th--wait wait! Why did she have the can of black? She opened it? What was she--
"No, don't!" Phoebe jerked the door open with a gasp of protest, eyes wide, her other arm holding her books and bag to her chest, feet splayed with the force to which she opened the door, being it was already open a crack. Pieces of paper stuck out from a book and binder. Not enough to show exactly what was on it, but there were some rough sketches peeking out.

Phoebe was seconds too late.
Saya turned as she called out, but her arm had already made the splash, throwing black paint over it as planned. Sayas eyes widened, but just a little, her lips parting in surprise as she stepped back a tad. She would glance at the now covered painting. She didn't bother brushing it around now that she had been interrupted. It covered the canvas from head to toe- only a little color at the corners and through the streaks at the bottom of the painting could be seen. Saya relaxed visibly.
"What are you doing here, Phoebe? You should be in your dorm."
Assuming she had one. Most people who stayed this late either had their own house and were studying, or wanted to break the rules and bounce out of the dorms at night. Despite her lack of overall disdain for Phoebe, she would have to give her detention if the latter were the case. Her eyes, for a moment, glanced over the sketches and lingered there, enjoying the shapes and artistry while she waited for a response.

Nooooo! Phoebe moaned a little in utter disappointment, actually sounding rather depressed as she moved in, her hand extending towards the corners of the painting but not quite touching. In fact, she seemed rather indecisive as her hand extended and retracted a few times--really, though, she was just shocked and bewildered that Saya would do that.
"Noo, Saya...why did you do that? It was gorgeous..." She was actually getting a bit choked up about it, too, but for a few more moments, didn't look at the teen she called a friend. She was focused on the painting that was now blotted out, which let Saya get a better look at some of the sketches, now that she was closer. One seemed to be a foyer of a building - a floorplan peeking out by the corner of that sheet, likely for the sketch that could be seen - that had two sets of three pillars leading to what seemed to be a desk.
She shook her head, finally looking up at the First Pillar, her mouth turned down in a frown, brows pulling together. She actually looked rather like a sad puppy, but, slowly shook her head.
"I don't have a dorm. I kinda lost track of time and wanted to finish... I just came to borrow a pencil..."

Saya looked back at her painting, eyes softening as she looked at the new ink blot. It was a rather...srtling change change. Almost like a wool cover had been stripped from over her eyes. Her face seemed to belong to a new person. She would turn away from it slowly and open the door, walking out. She headed for the Library. Assuming that she followed, Saya would only respond to the second half of what she said.
"I see. That's not against the rules. So...I'll ask a question I'm not used to asking. How is your brother."
She would glance over at Phoebe, her general cool look clearing into her eyes once more.

Leon himself was up studying. Old habits die hard as they say, he was studying philosophy and ancient battle strategies. Not due to recent events, in honesty it was because he missed his brothers, and his dad back in Texas. This made it feel like he was back at home doing training exercises with his older brother. Each playing the role of general in a massive capture the flag game with the branch families.
However he was testing his current strategies against Grave in his head, using only memories and what he supposed Grave would do...
"It'd be nice if you were here to help me improve..."

The difference in Saya's face was startling enough to mostly jolt Phoebe from her saddened state. She stared a moment before swallowing. And then she went to the side and picked out another worn-down pencil. One that was on the last edges of its life, but would more than suit her purpose.
It wouldn't be something that would be missed, short as it was.
She turned and would follow Saya with one last forlorn look at the painting that was now black.
She glanced up after catching up to her, blinking.
"Allen? He's...he's been okay~ He was really upset a few weeks ago when I came home, hurt. But he was more thankful I came home at all, once he cooled off." She took a breath, gaze turning forwards before flicking back. "How are you..?"

Saya would nod as she reached the library, opening the doors and noticing the light in the corner. The blonde Sudeki... she let out a little internal sigh. She would have to deal with him eventually. She would open the door and let Phoebe inside first.
"I'm the same as always. How have you been healing."
The prompt changes in conversation were making it obvious she didn't really want to talk about herself. She wanted to talk about something other than herself. Painting to destruction was tiring. She would touch Phoebes shoulder as she walked by her, heading over to Leons table.
"Sudeki. You staying in the dorms?"

Leon would look up from the book "Jeet Kun Do: The Philosophies" when he heard the voice. His eyes were open a little wider than usual as he was surprised by the interruption, before he could focus on the words and the question he had to see who was asking.
~Saya...~
Leon would put the book on the table.
"No, I live in an apartment off campus."
Leon's eyes would trail spotting Phoebe, before he would look back at The First Pillar.
"Why?"

Phoebe made a soft, non-committal sound at Saya's reply, though her green eyes shifted over to her friend, almost worried. She wished Saya would talk a little more, but...she didn't press for her to do so, either. Maybe if they were somewhere less open and she didn't feel the need to be on edge just in case someone was around, she would open up a little more.
"Good, better than expected..~ I'm nearly back to my old self again~"
Her eyes were drawn by the light. One she hadn't noticed, from before, and her eyebrows lifted in curiosity before she recognised it was Leon. The brunette grinned...then looked down at her shoulder, surprised Saya had touched her! An improvement! She grinned a little, but, moved forward with Saya, giving Leon a grin and little wave.
"Leon, I didn't know you were here, too~" She chirped, intentionally trying to diffuse Saya's serious tone while looking like it was completely unintentional, her normal cheer returning as she let the painting go from her mind. "How long have you been here~?"

Saya would look away, back at Phoebe as Leon said he lived in apartments off campus.
"Those living on campus have curfew- 9:30. Off campus student there is none, so you being here at midnight.... Don't worry about it now."
She looked him over quietly. He seemed...more controlled. Stronger. She would comment on it.
"You seem to be healing nicely. From what I hear you've been in fights with most people attending the school."
She was a little judgemental about it, as a Pillar of course.

Leon nodded, though something didn't add up, it was only like seven, maybe eight at the latest, however he would shrug that off.
"Yeah, the books remind me of home. I've been in here since school ended. Just trying to improve my mind for battle."
Leon would look to Saya.
"Mmm, yeah. Everyone here is rather skilled in whatever they have chosen to do. I've learned a lot from those fights."

"You've been here for...eight hours?" Phoebe half-gasped, her eyes going wide. Even she had been out and about, having grabbed supper somewhere along the way with Allen.
Saya said everything was okay, they didn't have to worry.
So, Phoebe didn't worry~

Saya would stare, rather blankly.
"Why? Why fight so much?"
What was the point? She had a purpose for getting stronger. She had a goal. And endgame. She didn't want to be on top forever. When she went to college she wanted to be like every other student. Get good grades, graduate and move on. She would live a normal life. Maybe. At least, thats what she hoped.
She would grab a seat and sit. She planned to pick his brain a little.

Leon's eyes would widen.
"Eight hours?!"
He'd look around for the clock, spotting it and he still didn't believe it, but now that he wasn't lost in his books he began to feel hungry, and like he needed to use the bathroom... Saya however sat down asking him questions... That wasn't like her. So his attention immediately refocused.
Leon however was silent for a few seconds looking down at the book as if the answer was written there, not in the book, but somewhere in a very far distance.
"That is both easy to answer, and... Very difficult..."
Leon would keep looking down at the very distant space behind the book, behind the earth, forcing it almost as he tried to answer.
"I'm not..."
It almost hurt to say it, physically. He couldn't even finish the sentence.
~Tell them... Say it... TELL THEM!~
"Strong e-enough."
Leon didn't mean physically either, but he was sure that's how it would be taken. That was fine with him however, if they saw it like he was on some macho power trip.
