Welcome delinquents to PHS #552. A few reminders, no rough housing, no running in the hallways, no cheating, and no talking back to your teachers. Beyond that, enjoy yourselves. After all these are the years you’ll look back on, and remember, you mother fuckers peaked too early.

A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

It was the night after she'd stumbled upon Saya in the art department, and they had stumbled upon Leon in the library with the ensuing fight between them.
Because of two reveals in particular.
Both had lost a sister.
And even though Phoebe didn't perfectly understand what that felt like, she was compassionate enough that she knew she wouldn't know what to do if Allen died. She knew what itwas like, somewhat, having lost her father. But...in a way it had hurt that she hadn't been able to go after Saya last night.
Even though part of her knew that Saya wasn't one for displays of affection or being touched...she felt that she needed to do something. Something to show she cared and hurt for her. It wasn't pity. It had never been pity from the moment she first met her friend. And knowing she didn't overly like affection, or anyone, was why she decided to seek her out at night. She started with the art department, slowly easing the door open a little more to look around, even if the room was dim!

Saya was not there. Though on the easel was another plainting, still a little wet, covered in black. Saya might be able to smear some of it away to get a gray background on it, if she ished, but it would still look splotchy and not really visible.
There were a few students down the hall she could try, or she could check the Pillars office.

Unless said students were fighting (which would undoubtedly draw at least one Pillar, if not Saya herself) Phoebe would ignore them and head towards the Pillars' Office!

Saya would be exiting the office way down the hall from Phoebe, locking the door and tucking her hands in her coat. She would start walking casually in the opposite direction.

Phoebe perked up and quickened her strides!
She figured Saya would probably feel she was being followed, but, wouldn't speak until she was closer so she didn't have to call out and attract attention. Green eyes scanned the halls as she walked, not wanting anyone around!
Saya, after all, had a reputation.

As Phoebe was about twenty feet away, Sayas left hand would slam out in a fist, putting a small dent in the locker. She spoke without turning around.
"Don't do what you are about to do. Whoever you are, leave, or I'm going to hurt you."
She half turned back to Phoebe, her bottom lip cut at the left side. Her cool demeanor would shift a little- not to a friendly one, but to no longer hostile. She didn't hate Phoebe, but despite the girls insistance, did not call her a friend. She just...was there. And, fortunately for her, garnished a little leniency from the First Pillar.
"It's you. Back for more studying, I presume?"
She would turn to walk with the girl, assuming Phoebe would continue after Sayas outburst.

"I'm...not here to jump you, Saya. It's just me."
Despite her slight start at the fist against the locker and the forceful yet calm words, she wasn't surprised. And she continued to catch up, her gaze flicking to Saya and back in front of herself a few times.
"Not to study~ I came to talk with you, actually~"

Saya would turn and watch Phoebe for several seconds before glancing around. She understood the meaning behind the words, and let out a little sigh. The girl was persistant. Saya would turn and walk back toward the office, unlocking it and opening, using one hand to gesture Phoebe inside. Once there, she would close the door, lock it, and lean against it, bending one leg to prop her foot on it. She would shrug.
"Whats up?"
She waited for the sympathy she felt was forecoming, prepared to shut it down.

Phoebe turned and followed Saya's about-face, her eyes and face brightening considerably. She stepped in as Saya gestured, and then turned as she locked the door and leaned against it. There was a lot she could say. But...
Words. Words could help, sometimes. But, there was a way to say a lot more than actually speaking.
She tilted her head a little, taking a soft breath as though to speak, and then did what she wanted to do last night: she stepped forward and would simply give Saya a hug.
Unless she was forcibly stopped, anyway.

Sayas eyebrows twitched as Phoebe stepped forward. She didn't move as the girl hugged her, blank eyes staring straight ahead. She let it ride for a few seconds, before her hand would plant on Phoebes sternum, attempting to push her back, but gently, her voice as equally soft.
"Don't."
She would walk around Phoebe and run a hand through her hair. Phoebe might notice at this point Sayas room door was open. Inside, the light shown on her walls, which had some things on it, and photos, and what appeared to be a childs painting. Saya would turn back.
"Is Leon recovering?"
Swift change of subject.

Saya's shift was all Phoebe needed to know that the hug was over. Not that she would have kept it longer. She backed away just as Saya would touch her to ward her back.
She knew she pretty much probably upset her on some level. So she shifted on her feet to try and fend off her own discomfort. She'd been off for these past two days. Not always her happy self. People were having more and more of an effect on her. Not that it was a bad thing, but, she had to be careful with her concern and compassion.
"...he's sore. More than just physically. But...he'll get better. He needs that growth..." Her gaze wavered a little, but she stood straight. "What about you? You weren't hurt nearly as badly, but, I'm still concerned."
She could brush her off before when Phoebe asked about her, but, not this time.

Saya turned to look at her. She stared, then deflected.
"Tell me- this is supposed to be one of the toughest, most destructive schools in the country. Why is it then that every person I seem to meet wants to get in my head and be my buddy?"
Her words were a little harsh, especially knowing that Phoebe was such a care free spirit, but Saya was just being honest, and probably wasn't smooth with tact.

Phoebe blinked, if only taken aback in that instant. Then she shook her head, her expression setting to one of mulish stubbornness. It was a look that Allen knew he couldn't win against.
But Saya didn't know that, yet.
"I can't speak for anyone else, let alone everyone. And I'm not trying to 'get inside your head', Saya..! I just care. And with it comes questions about whether you're okay." She stared, and though she didn't snap with a 'get used to it!' or 'suck it up, buttercup!', there was the implication that it wasn't going to change any time soon. Her tone was firm, but soft. "And I'd appreciate a truthful answer. I get you don't like people and you don't want anyone close to you. But it doesn't stop me from caring."

Saya stared.
"Someone said something similar to me once. 'Just because I did what I did, doesn't mean I never cared'. He was the former leader of...of a gang I was in, before 552. Life didn't end well for him."
Which was why Saya was here.
"I don't have an answer for you, and I honestly don't want a friend. I have a cut lip. I've lived through worse."
A little response but...probably not enough to make Phoebe go away.

Phoebe stared.
"No, that pretty much sounds like the opposite of what I just said. It sounds like they were hurting you and trying to convince you they cared when their actions spoke the opposite. I'm not making excuses for why I'm asking you like they were doing for their actions." She took a breath, watching the teen a moment. "Not everything's about physical hurts... But...you probably don't need any reminders, because you probably miss her every day."
She glanced away, now, looking...towards Saya's room. The picture caught her eye, but, she didn't move towards it, or inside Saya's room. That was her space. An apparently unwanted hug was one thing, invading Saya's room was another.
