Moving in (Dan)

Teufel smiled a little at the head ruffling. It felt kinda nice. He looked over at the rainbow and smiled. It was pretty. The light refracting off of the raindrops, what wonder science is! Teufel bought a rainbow prism ounce, but it shattered in a cart accident. But rainbows were pretty too. Teufel used to watch rainbows and catch fireflies with his sister before he got transported here. Maybe he could find fireflies here in New York.

"What do you want to do now big brother?" He asked.

Teufel looked at the clock. That late already? What had happened? But food matters! Teufel was also pretty hungry too. A (hopefully) growing boy needs to eat. So he ran over and looked what was in the fridge.

"Bacon, frozen pizza, apples, leftover salad, soup. Anything sound good to you big brother?" He asked from the kitchen. If Dan said nothing was to his liking, then Teufel would probably just order something. But if Dan said yes to something, Teufel would run into another cabinet to get some plates and cups.

Dan making something? At first Teufel was a bit skeptical because of Dan's huge hands. But then he remembered how nice the violin music was and any doubts he had were diminished. Intriguing. But why was a charity food box doing with Dan?

"Sure, I'll get the plates and drinks ready!" He said, then ran off to get the paper plates, napkins, and drinking cups.

Teufel watched in marvel and amazement as Dan cooked with great speed and precision! As Dan cooked, Teufel cleaned up all the aprons scattered on the floor. After he was done with that, he unpacked a little more, just to make sure the room was tidy.. He went into the shared room to tidy up too. He picked up a golden metallic Apple that seemed to send small waves of discord here and there, and held it gently, then carrying it, went back to the kitchen.

"Woah, you're really good at cooking! What are you going to make?" He said, taking a minute to smell the imitation beef.

Teufel's eyes widened at the sound of that. It sounded pretty fancy, and the imatation beef smelled great. Anything interesting happened? That black fog incident that happened a few days ago. He nodded his head a little.

"There was this one thing a few days ago with this black fog, but nothing too bad. I started a chemistry club at school though. Nothing too important." He said quietly

He begin to set up the plates and cups at the table, then went back to Dan

"Is there anything I can do to help big brother?" He asked

Spices! Of course! Why hadn't Teufel thought of that? He ran over to a cabinet to see what was in stock. Basil? Rosemary? Pepper? A spare jap of arsenal? Probably not arsenal, but the others seemed pretty legit. Taking all of them back to the kitchen, he presented them to Dan.

"Here we go big brother! Pepper, basil, and rosemary!" He said, proud of being of some help. The black antlers shined and teufel's face lit up a little, happy that he could be of some use.

Teufel looked at the meal. 'It looks so big...' He thought quietly. He took the bib and looked around at the meal some more. The pudding was really large and the gravy looked thicker then bricks. It all smelled really good and Teufel was kind of hungry too.

"Woah, you made all of this in that short amount of time?" He asked.

He put the bib on and his mouth watered a little. He took a slice of the beef and some pudding and took a bite. It was great! The gravy and the pudding complemented each other perfectly, and the imatation beef was cooked to perfection. He swallowed, then said his thanks to Dan.

"Thank you big brother! This is amazing!" He said, with his eyes twinkling in amazement.
