A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

The day was slowly dying, the sun was still high in the sky, but school had ended hours ago. Still, that meant little to Kyou. If it did, at all, mean anything, it would be that the school would be closer to deserted, and as such, Kyou could study in peace. He headed over to the library, setting his back pack down next to a seat at one of the tables, and placing the books he carried in his arms on the surface of that table. He walked over to a section of the library and got out a book he'd hidden away behind some others before returning to his table. Kyou set down the book and flipped it open to a certain page, before getting out his notebook and returning to his research. In his notes were some pretty advanced notes for a student attending PHS 552, in fact, it seemed like it was completely unrelated to school... as the school's academic level was only average, or below average to suit some of the delinquent students. However, why it was that Kyou was studying drugs... it was unknown. The particular drug that he was looking into seemed to be a kind of suicide drug--one that would put the user in a death-like state and, more than likely, result in death.

jacket would be at the school late again, she had no work shift that night, and her night class was cancelled, so what else would she do? she knew the library needed a bit of organizing, so the the frequent visitor set out to do it herself. the dewey decimal system was exceptionally easy to understand, so she through she might as well spend her free time cleaning up.
with her arms full of books, jacket would walk buy a studious looking boy who was reading over some material. as jacket walked by, she glimpsed at what the boy was reading out of her own curiosity. maybe they had something in common? jacket had already read almost all of the books in the library, at least all of the non-fiction ones.
"oh, hello! i hope you're finding that book to be a good read," the older girl would smile friendily to the boy, shifting the weight of the stack of books in her arms. "i read that one a few months ago and it was quite interesting."
what was so weird about looking up drugs? it's not like jacket hadn't done that in the past.

Kyou was startled when he heard Jacket speak from behind him--not expecting anyone else to be around. He turned his head to look at her before giving a slight nod. "Er, yeah. It's a uh... interesting topic. Very useful, in my opinion," He said, looking back to his notebook and glancing at the book again. "Though trying to figure out this equation has proven quite a challenge so far... but... I can do this. I know I can." He took a few moments before letting her words sink in and finally gaining interest--he'd been so distracted. "Oh, you've read this before? Most people here don't seem so... interested in these kinds of things..." He sighed, then adding, "unless, of course, it was because they were going to use it as a weapon to murder or kill... but that's another story, I suppose..."

she would feel bad for startling the boy, forgetting that she was there late in the day, and that it wasn't normal to be in the library.
"oh dear, no.." jacket would say very seriously in reply to his statement. it was no joking matter to her when it came to harming others. it never would be. "i don't think we should be using knowledge to harm people. we should be using it to improve the world as much as possible."
she would place the books she was carrying on the edge of the table, leaning them up against her body.
"may i ask what you are studying in this book?"

Kyou gave a faint smile and nodded at her statement. "I agree completely. I know the world is pretty bad the way it is and... I don't like to stand by and do nothing about it. Of course, there's not much I can do... but I do whatever I can, and I try, at least..." He didn't dare say he tried his hardest. After all, if he tried his hardest, he probably wouldn't be such a failure... If he tried his best it only felt 89.27463% percent helpful--there was still quite a large area for error. He felt like he tried his best, but he knew he messed up a lot, and that he never fully tried his best unless he succeeded completely--a full 100%. Kyou wasn't sure what it was about this girl he'd never met before that made him want to open up... he didn't feel uncomfortable talking to her about what he was doing--and Kyou almost always felt uncomfortable around people. He simply shrugged and said, "I'm looking into a particular drug that puts the user in a death-like sleep... but it's very dangerous to use, most people have a 50/50% chance of surviving, and if one were to be mortally wounded--or even slightly wounded... that almost guarantees death." He sighed. "It's kind of annoying, to be blunt..."

"all anyone can do is try their best. even the smallest amount helps in the end," she would smile at the boy. she liked that he had the same ideology as her, which was rare in that school.
"oh! how fascinating. i'm sure i could think of something that could apply..." she would trail off, tapping her fingers on her stack of books, trying to think of what substance could work for what the boy wanted.
jacket move over to the boy's side of the table, gesturing for her to take the book from him. she would flip through a few pages, quickly scanning them. she would find the page she was looking for, and show him the header of the section.
"if you see here, this is the closest substance to what you are looking for. unfortunately there isn't extensive detail in this book, but i'm sure a reference library would have more detailed information."

Kyou would hand the book over to her, watch her flip through the book so... so... it was like when Kyou had been reading the tale of King Arthur, he knew it so well that he could flip to any page he wanted--he could get to any part of the book with ease, even being able to hunt down one particular sentence and he would have no trouble finding it... she seemed to know this book just as well, and though he'd read the book a few times... even he hadn't memorized it that well. And what pride did he have now? After all, King Arthur was just a silly tale--nothing that could really teach Kyou anything useful. What was it about this girl that made him feel so... inferior in intellect? He suddenly felt like he had to step up his game... this feeling had never been one he'd felt before. He was always the smart one, never the one who had to learn from another...
She showed him the book after she found one of the drugs, and Kyou took it back and read it--quickly scanning over the details. "Yes... this is the one I was looking for, but still... I was hoping to find something less dangerous... any kind of drug I've found that's been close to what I need is like the other--they all have a 50/50% chance of working, and are even more dangerous to use if one is injured... damn it all," He thought. "There really isn't a drug out there quite like the one I need... er... want... Oh well. I guess it's just to plan H, then." He stopped his thoughts, realizing he'd been quiet the whole time. He looked up at Jacket and said, "Oh, um, thanks. Haha, this is what I was looking for alright." He looked back down to the book and flipped the page, reading more on the particular drug and trying to find something he might have overlooked the first time. But it wasn't there... "Hey... um... I'd hate to be a bother, but do you have any idea where one might get their hands on this drug? I don't suppose it's legal due to the fatal possibility, and I'm not sure if the police would help me get it even if I asked them... I-if you don't know, I guess I could just try to ask them anyway..."

she would wait patiently as he read and was absorbed in his thoughts, smiling the whole time. she was just happy that someone seemed so interested in learning. he was younger than her, but his spirit for learning reminded her a lot of herself; absorbed in anything she could get her hands on.
"i don't believe police would give you such a drug as there is potential for you to use it on yourself or others. but in a controlled lab you might be able to preform experiments with supervision..." she would trail off, trying to think of how the boy could get a hold of what he needed. "what is this for, if i may ask?"

Kyou would look away. "I see... well, that's the problem, see, I would need to be able to use it..." He sighed. "Have you ever had someone try to kill you?" He asked, looking up at her. "Because I know I have... and it happens quite often. Most of the time I just need to pull together and get through it on my own, no matter how injured I might be... but then, there are times when you're all alone, up against five people who want nothing more than for you to die..."
Kyou would look back at the book, giving a small sigh. "And I can't help but to think that... for a last resort, being able to take something like this might just save your life... Because if you can fake your death, they'll likely leave you and you'll just wake up later and get help after they're gone. But still, it's too dangerous to use if you're injured enough where they'd think you could possibly be dead. So, I guess I'm just trying to come up with a way for this drug to be safe and unusable, for myself, and other members of the police corp. should they need it..." He shook his head. "Though I guess I could try to build an immunity to it so that it would have lower chances of killing me, but still..."

she would look down at the boy as he spoke and nod quietly. of course she had been in life and death situations, that was practically how she grew up. she was a trauma and abuse survivor, so every day was a fight for her life until the day her father was finally locked away.
"aren't you forgetting that if people think you are dead that they will get rid of your body? you're opening yourself to risks where you could be buried alive," she would sigh. "if you truly want to defend yourself, you should learn less risky ways of fending off foes. use your environment to your advantage."

Kyou gave a small nod. "True..." He said. "Though most murderers try to flee from the scene and don't really think about burying someone." And of course, for family to bury him, it would take a week or so for the preparations to occur before he'd actually go down under, and the drug would have worn off long before then. "But... you do have a point. The chances of it actually being helpful are slim, so I'm trying to weigh out the pros and cons and see if it's even possible, you know? But, you're probably right... It's probably best to forget the idea entirely and start with a different idea, huh?" She was smart, she would probably have a better idea than Kyou...
