Wow, there sure are a lot of conspicuous stains on the ground for a new building.
With her headphones on full blast, it'd taken Chandler a minute to pay attention to what things looked like at her new school. It wasn't that memorable, really. Some weird red stains there, chipped concrete there, you get the picture. She imagined her room was probably worse.
Still walking, she tried to remember where her locker was supposed to be.
Number 516... Yeah, that sounds right.
She probably should have written the number on her hand or something, but that morning she had figured she'd deal with the problem later. Now was later, but she still didn't feel like getting her bag out to check.
She glanced at the lockers she was passing, noticing they were in the 200's.
Hey, I'm kind of close. Not really, but sorta.
She turned down another hallway and took another glance around at the lockers.
700's.
Wait, what?
Chandler took off her headphones so she could concentrate, and she reached the reasonable conclusion that she had no idea where the hell she was going.

Chandler thought she could hear someone singing in the distance.
"Run for you I wake uuuuuuuuup. Love for you I wake uuuuuuuu-"
Hey, isn't that song by that flowery-what's-their-name boy band?
"Shut Up Flower-boy"? Yep, that sounds about right.
She was pretty sure they were from a Korean show. She felt a little disappointed when the person's singing got cut off, since it had a nice sound to it.
Oh yeah, my locker. It can't be that far away, right?
Chandler started walking, looking down as she tried to put on her headphones again. Someone bumped into her and she stumbled back, panicking for a second because:
Oh god, oh god, I'm falling-
Suddenly a hand was on her arm, steadying her in place. Chandler felt pretty embarrassed for the relief that took over her. She just hated the feeling of falling.
A glance at the person keeping her steady let Chandler know it was a boy around her age, with...blue hair? Yeah.
"Uh, thank you. For catching me."
Wow, that came out awkward. She hoped she'd be less awkward introducing herself.
"I mean, I really should have been paying more attention. I'm Chandler, by the way."
Nailed it.
