A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

[OoC: Participants are limited to those who signed up, and are on the list found here. Rounds will move on at the discretion of the QC, but participants will be expected to post once every 24-48 hours from the moment the next round goes up. ONE POST PER ROUND - any more than that will be deleted and disregarded. The only weapons that may be used in the event are those that can reasonably be found in the area. Throughout the event, there will be random dice rolls to influence situational and environmental hazards. What the GM says, goes, so do not add details that were not originally included. Rewards will be based on participation and contribution, as well as how well people play to their stats. (Eg. Jimmy and Bobby both have starter stats. Bobby gets hit with a haymaker to the face and is knocked out reasonably. Jimmy takes that hit over and over and just keeps getting back up. Bobby is likely to get a better reward than Jimmy.) DO NOT POST UNTIL THE FEAR QC HAS POSTED.] It started as a normal day at the pier, with most going about their work as per the usual. Suddenly, however, the water within eyesight suddenly turned black, and the current itself just halted. The water began to turn to a mist, and it spread all throughout the area, taking a hold of every single person within its reach. Many of the afflicted suffered from terrible hallucinations that left them virtually immobile and useless, while many others ran from the area in terror of what they claimed to be armies of the dead rising from the water to claim their lives. A single figure rose from the water and made its presence known on the pier, though whether it was truly of the "dead" was yet to be known.

❝ | Fear might be
the death of me |

A figure in a mask could be seen walking across the dock., having risen from the water His footsteps made no sounds, and the black marks on his mask were seemingly alive, resonating as black flames. The rest of his attire was a black tattered coat, with a black hood over his face, his entire body covered in black. He looked like a creature not of this earth. It was almost accurate to say he was, as it was The Wraith. Valo was the one inside the mask, but was not in control of his own body. He was a passenger, and his body the vessel to The Wraith inside of him. He was forced to watch the actions that were not his own, but it was his own fault. He was promised power to save his sister, and he accepted it without a second thought. Little did he know what his mission would involve. At the time, he didn't care, but now he was hurting people and couldn't even hesitate. The Wraith looked upon the MV-Phoenix as he stood in the middle of the warehouses, the Phoenix was a product of his own design. He knew how it worked. He knew what made it tick. And he knew such an important landmark in this dock would cause quite the stir if it went under. The people screaming in terror, running away from a so-called army of the dead... and he was their leader. The Wraith stood above those who were immobilized, staring into their eyes. If they were not unconscious, they likely saw him as the reaper, the one to end their fates. Wordlessly, he stood there amongst the midst, and unleashed a terrifying and ghostly shriek into the sky. it's just like that time... "So that was the ballroom and the control room. Are you about ready to be the first girl to see my new bed room?" I joked to Jacket slightly teasingly as we ventured the MV-Phoenix. I had been living on her couch as a bum for the past few weeks ever since I had everything taken away from me. It had dawned on me just recently however, that my father had specifically put the MV-Phoenix as an asset under mine and Valo's name for co-ownership. This meant that when he went to jail and Masahiro blocked me from company assets and froze my accounts, the Phoenix remained mine to own. Jacket and I had been out on a day in town kind of as a fair well shabang. You know the deal, lunch, some ice cream. We were just having a fun day of it. When the day had led in the direction of the docks, I decided to show her the Phoenix and the place I had decided to live in. It was then that I heard the screaming coming from outside. "Looks like something's going on... We should check it out to make sure everything's okay." I would say over to the girl feeling my heroic side swelling up. I just couldn't run away from people screaming. Just wasn't in my nature. So quickly, I made my way to the deck. What I saw... I just... I couldn't believe it. Was there... a battle going on out there? I gave a look towards Jacket. The type of look that usually meant that I was going to do something stupid. I sighed before speaking... "I'm going to do something stupid. Get to the control room and radio for help. There's first aid kits... almost everywhere. I'm going to try and pull the injured out from there and stop the fighting." I turned towards the mess in front of me as I walked towards the stern of the ship. I stepped up onto the railing as I looked down at the onslaught in front of me. This... was going to hurt. I leaped forward from the railing and into the crowd, slamming my fist down onto one of the hooded black figures. I pulled him up by the back of his coat to look him in the eye. "STOP FIGHTI-" My words escaped me. I felt a chill down my spine. What the hell was this... person? There were so many that looked just like this guy around. Punching them felt weird... it was almost like punching... nothing? Like they didn't feel anything when I punched them... as if this thing and the hundreds other like it terrorizing the docks were just... ghosts. I let go of it and backed away, looking around to see if there were any people around me that needed help. I had to grab as many people as I could and run away... This was not an enemy I was going to be able to handle... @ tag # # # STR|41

together to the last fight, to the last hope, to the last enemy, to the last breath | together to the last hour |
Notes --- |
'Fear has two meanings. 'Forget everything and run', or 'Face everything and rise.' The choice is yours.' Vivi sat on the deck of the MV-Phoenix, just enjoying the day. Her aunt was still missing, and her new house just didn't quite seem like home, so she didn't see the appeal in killing time over there. She never really could get herself to stay in one place for extended periods of time anyway. The MV-Phoenix definitely didn't feel like home either, but she felt strangely comfortable there regardless, and visited once in a while. If Shugo or Valo had beef with that she'd probably just... keep coming anyway. Unless they through her over-board of course. Well actually, she'd probably just climb back up.
The violet haired girl sat with a drawing pad rested on her knees and attempted to sketch the pier. Not the most appealing subject around, but it was still something to draw, and she needed the practice. Things were pretty normal, until Vivi saw something that caused her to do a double take. What the hell was with the water? She furrowed her brow and stood to her feet when a scream pierced the air, ignoring her pad and pencil as they fell to the deck.
The girl dashed to the railing and gripped it tightly as she looked down at the creatures below. Panic rose in her chest when she spotted Shugo leaping over the edge of the ship right into the middle of the creatures. What the hell was he thinking!?
"Shugo, hold up!" she yelled, but he had already gone over board. She wanted to yell at him to stop and think for a second, but she knew she'd just be wasting her breath.
So for now, she watched and waited to see what these creatures would do next.

Jacket would click her tongue on the roof of her mouth, trying to not let her disappointment with his new living conditions show. She supposed it was better suited than the constant neck pains from her sofa, but a ship? It was a strange living situation, but if it was what made him happy she couldn’t argue with it. Friends supported one another, no matter how silly their ideas were.
“I don’t think it would be appropriate to take a woman into your bedroom,” she would tease him, trying to lighten the mood a little. She wasn’t sure why her friend moving out of her apartment was affecting her mood. Maybe she had gotten used to his constant presence? Maybe it was nice eating dinner with someone every night? No, that wasn’t right. She was fine on her own. Maybe this was for the best. Fewer distractions meant she could focus on her goals more. She was already much too spoiled with his friendship. She would tense as she heard screaming outside, and run up with Shugo. And before she could tell him to stop, he was off trying to do something heroic. The fact with heroism was that it was often childish and stupid – never thought out. Just like Shugo’s plan.
“Shugo, please get back up here!” Jacket would yell after him, hoping just once that he would listen. Whatever was going on down there, it wasn’t normal. She looked around, and noticed the other girl on the ship, and would make her way over to her quickly. Jacket saw the blackness of the water, noting to make sure she didn’t fall or get pushed off of the ship.
“You’re not hurt or anything, are you? Did you breathe in or drink any strange substances?” Jacket would ask the violet haired girl, keeping her distance from the railing. Just close enough to see what was going on down below with Shugo. She would motion for the girl to move closer to her. “Please, I’m not sure if that mist is safe. I advise that you move as far back as you are able to.”

Kai was walking into the pier to go eat seafood. He thought it would feel more real if he ate it at the pier rather than eat in the city where the closest so-called "Chinese" restaurant was serving sushi. He'd rather trust a cool ass pier. As Kai was heading towards the marketplace near the pier, he gawked in amazement at the cool buildings and the smell of fish everywhere. He was about to walk into one of the buildings for food but then... It was as if time stopped. Kai saw darkness come into the waters and a mist that crept its way up, leaving the poor souls caught in the mist suffering from terrible hallucinations that left them pretty much not moving from their spots. Kai saw a yacht from a distance with a figure who looked like some kind of monster/ghost thing you would only see in games or movies. Kai then saw someone jump out of the yacht after he yelled out something that Kai couldn't have heard. He also saw two girls on the boat. If Kai missed anyone else on the boat, he didn't see it due to the darkness of the whole area that left him with far-away images harder to see. Kai would go over towards the bridge to see what's going on.

Dan was sitting on the pier drinking an non alcoholic beverage crown twinkling in the sunlight fishing to his hearts content "Haaaaaaah" Dan sighed for he was truly at piece "I'm glad I stoped getting those hallucinations" Dan said taking a sip of his drink as he remembered his encounters with Duncan and the sentai sempais (they were so realistic) Dan thought Dan started to lay back close his eyes and basked in the sunlight.... "Today's truly a perfect day"
Dan stopped feeling the sunlight "Hhhhmmmm?" Dan once again opened his eyes to see a deep fog encroach the pier and the water to take a deeper black shade and then there was the screaming "Not again" Dan clutched his head what was going to happen now "I hope it's a happy hallucination" Dan said hoping but it probely wasn't going to happen

(OOC: Round two. Anyone who hasn't joined may still join. Everyone can post again following this post.)
The Wraith looked towards the ship, seeing someone jump down onto the pier floor. The familiar blue hair...
Shugo... I beg of you, just run. Don't be a hero for once... or I'll end up killing you...
His thoughts would not be reflected in his actions, and the Wraith would shriek once more into the sky, the demonic wail coursing through the area around them. Creatures would rise from the ground, and although hallucinations as a result of the mist, their targets would not immediately know the difference. Three of them would crawl towards Shugo, attempting to back him up against the side of the MV-Phoenix. Three would also howl and crawl towards Kai, trying to cause him to run closer into the battlefield. A demonic looking piranha would bite Dan's lure, his catch not being nearly as pretty as his crown. Demonic creatures would come from either side, attempting to grab him.
Jacket and Vivi were currently safe, not being in the immediate effects of the black mist.
The Wraith leaped high into the air, jumping towards Shugo. Whether he was distracted or not, Valo would attempt to land on Shugo and crush him into the ground, slamming on him with both feet. Possibly with enough force to cause a small crater beneath them.

Why was I shaking? What the hell was going on with me. Why the hell was I afraid?! I'm Shugo Goddamn Yuy! I've been shot, I've been stabbed, hell I've been punched straight through one side of the ship behind me and out the other. So why the hell am I afraid of dying now? And why the hell isn't this pep talk working... Unless... the mist... Last time it was around... I was crippled like this too... "Dammit... Get a grip! JACKET THIS MIST IS JUST LIKE LAST TIME! IT INDUCES FEAR!" I shouted behind myself to Jacket. I knew her and Vivi were right... I needed to get out of there. The mist messed me up real bad last time... Made me think that Jacket was dying. The worst part about the mist was that my body was still moving even with my mind not in the current location. That meant that I was a liability. I had to get out of this mist before it affected me even more. As the three creatures closed in towards me, I backed up. Bending my knees slightly, I decided to get out of there. I launched myself into the air in order to make a jump for it to get back to the ship. Unfortunately for me, another one of the creatures came at me. His feet collided into my stomach in mid air, knocking the wind out of me for a moment. As I gasped for breath, I knew I had to try something. Grabbing his feet and torquing my torso, I would attempt to rotate in mid air and slam this guy down onto the ground before me. If it didn't work, well I was fucked. I'd slam into the ground, causing a crater to form under me from the pressure. However... if it did work, I'd let go and pull away the second we hit the ground, backing up towards the ladder for the MV-Phoenix. If I could reach it, I'd attempt to climb back aboard onto the ship and shout towards Jacket and Vivi. "We need to get the hell out of here... We need to start the ship's engines!" @ tag # # # STR|41 DEX|38 CON|33 WIS|44 INT|31

Alex was running towards the pier. The people he met on his way to the pier have been talking of something huge taking place there. Approaching the area, I stood there. The mist was overwhelming, but he could still see a bit. Moving thru the place he found a little bridge that connected to a ship. Alex heard the noises coming from the ship, so he boarded immediately and explored the area.
He started getting a little scared as he went around the ship. The fear grew as he went deeper, but he didn't let the fear take control over him. Maybe if he turned on the lights of the ship, the fear he has would go away slowly. The control room had the light control so he was heading there. Hopefully, he would find others on the way there.

'Fear is not real. It is the product of thoughts you create. Don't get me wrong, the danger is very real, but fear is a choice.'
Vivi tore her gaze away from the pier and looked at the green haired girl as she spoke. Vivi had seen the girl around every once in a while--she seemed like a very caring individual but definitely not a fighter. Regardless, from the way she spoke Vivi figured that the girl must be pretty intelligent, so Vivi probably wouldn't have to worry about her doing anything stupid. The only one she had to worry about doing dumb stuff for now was Shugo.
The violet haired girl did as she said and backed away from the railing.
"I'm fine, don't sweat it," she replied, "And no, I didn't drink or breathe anything weird--I'm concerned on a number of levels though..."
Vivi spotted a stranger boarding the MV-Phoenix (Alex Dragon) and immediately and quickly started toward him when she saw he was about to go into the ships interior. If he wanted a place to hide, that was fine by her, but she was feeling very untrusting right now. If this guy meant to tamper with the ships controls or sabotage it in any way, she would make sure that was impossible.
Vivi would stand in front of the entrance to the inside of the ship, blocking the boy and giving him a dull glare.
"You can hide on the deck, but stay out of the interior, you got it?" she snapped. Upon hearing Shugo's command she looked at him incredulously and held her arms out to the side as if to say, 'WTF, man?'
"Shugo, have you seen the water? Do you want us to sail off and strand ourselves in the middle of it?" she called, "Besides, if we try to take off he'll probably follow us on board! What do we do then?"
Vivi didn't know about how everyone else felt, but personally, she didn't wanna be stuck out in a sea of shadow piss and trapped in a boat with a masked demon dude. Leave the dumb decisions to horror movie characters--this wasn't hollywood, anyway.

"JACKET THIS MIST IS JUST LIKE LAST TIME! IT INDUCES FEAR!"
a chill would run up jacket's spine as she heard shugo shout. she had felt the fear from the mist before and it was not something she ever wanted to experience again. she clutched her hands on her backpack straps, before rushing over to help shugo onto the ship, careful to keep herself away from the mist as much as possible.
"We need to get the hell out of here... We need to start the ship's engines!"
even jacket would look at shugo like he had smacked his head way too hard on the ship. really? did he think that it was a good idea to go into a black mist-covered ocean and get themselves stranded? jacket was happy that at least vivi seemed to have a sensible head on her shoulders. she was glad that viv would take care of the new kid who was trying to get inside the ship as well.
she would mumble an apology as she would grab shugo's head and bring it close to hers, flashing her crappy flip-phone's light into his eyes, checking him for signs of being drugged - either dilated or expanded pupils. she would also motion for him to open his mouth so she could check for dryness. if she could just figure out how the mist effected the body... if only she had some time to do some testing on shugo himself.
"please calm down everyone. panic will not make anything easier. i advise we stay on the deck for as long as possible so we do not get trapped inside the ship," jacket would answer the violet haired girl and step forward, letting go of shugo. she had to think of a plan, and fast. it was either a plan to get out from being trapped on a ship surrounded with mist and black water, or figure out how to neutralize the mist with whatever she had on hand and on the ship. which.. wasn't much.

Something is happening in the pier that feels so surreal to Kai. One by one, monsters appeared and started going after the remaining people. One guy had a piranha thing trying to eat the guy's face off (poor guy). Kai also saw the yacht take off. Kai would go ask them what's up in this pier, but he had problems of his own. Three dark creatures started to appear and ran towards Kai. Although he was about to punch them, two of them took off their masks and unveiled two very familiar people... "Kyou?? Aaron??" They both smiled at Kai as if nothing was going on. Kai felt relieved that they were here. They are from Unforsaken after all. "Guys, I'm glad you're here!! These things started to appear and all these dark creatures were like BOOM and stuffs!! It was so weird!! Just lo-" In Kai's mid-sentence, Chains wrapped around both Kyou and Aaron's bodies together. The chain wrapped around tighter and tighter. Kai tried to go after the two but the third creature picked up Kai and threw him towards the pier where everything else is happening in the mist. As Kai was thrown back, he heard an explosion. After Kai fell, he looked in the direction of the two friends he had hoped for and lost all hope. There was nothing there except the third creature, who was heading towards Kai. Kai felt a shiver in his skin, his veins, his blood, his muscles, his bones, and everything else. He had lost two friends in a quick bang and Kai didn't do anything. Kai just stayed still for that moment and didn't move while the creature headed towards him. Kai wanted to beat the shit out of this thing. Kai wanted to do the worst possible things that he would be able to think of. Kai wanted to destroy this creature and blow him up and make him experience what Kai's friends had just suffered. But he couldn't do anything. A new surge of emotions had shocked Kai emotionally. All he said was three words... "Is this fear??"

(OOC: The Wraith's stats: STR: 50 (73) | DEX: 50 (72) | CON: 50 (60) | WIS: 50 (55) | INT: 50 (55))
Dan would be pulled into the black sea, and if the others looked over the side of the ship, they would see him in the water. Perhaps they could help him...
The strike against Shugo was successful, but the blue-haired boy managed to counter, slamming The Wraith into the ground and creating a crater beneath them. As Shugo went to climb the ship, The Wraith laid there on the ground for a short period of time before pushing himself to his feet. His body felt the pain, but it was as if he wasn't affected in the slightest. His body wasn't responding to him in the way he wanted. The pain only served as another consequence of his sentence in the prison that was his own body.
Shugo was running away, and The Wraith looked up after him. Inside, Valo was relieved that he was running instead of fighting, but there posed another insight, one The Wraith would use to his advantage. That, coupled with the appearance of Soran... Valo cursed the fates. He obtained the power to save his sister, but instead was forced to destroy his friends and family. Strakh was nothing if not cruel.
"A hero... We do not see you as one. You would run from us and leave these people to die? We do not think you a Pillar or a hero, but a coward hiding behind a false title, spewing empty promises to those around you." The Wraith advanced upon Soran as he was distracted with the memories of his own parents, planning on gripping him by the head as he pulled him near. "You only have your coward brother to blame for your ruin."
The Wraith's mask would open around the mouth, revealing a gaping, black hole. A black mist would appear from it, and if left unhindered, would push its way into Soran.
(OOC: Using Hand of Fear (Tier 3) - The Wraith brings an opponent's deepest fears to the surface. Upon grabbing an opponent, Valo can bring his hand to their face, releasing a black mist and exposing them to the Wraith's toxin. It can cause a target to hallucinate extremely, bringing up repressed memories and their worst fears to haunt them and resulting in a violent sensory attack. One post per 15 INT.)
