FEAR - The Wraith [EVENT]

jacket wouldn't have time to figure out how to help shugo, but she would watch what the masked figure would do to him for as long as she could. shugo could hold his own, right? she had to choke her worry down. she had to make sure that no one else was going to get hit by the mist.

"i understand that you are scared, but do not make me repeat myself again. we are under no circumstances setting sail in this ship. you need to calm down right now." jacket would sigh, and pull her hair back and tie it up. she had to think, and this kid (alex dragon) needed to calm down. she understood though, the mist had powerful effects. oh how she knew...

"how fast are you able to run?" jacket would turn and ask the violet haired girl, talking to her very quietly. "i need the following things from you. spray cans of deodorant or anything that is flammable, the ship's medical kit, flare guns, a lighter, and any kind of alcohol bottles you can find. the more you get of these items the better off we will be. i also need either a knife or very sharp scissors. can you trust me and get these items?" 

jacket would take her backpack off and hand it to the girl. she hoped that the other girl would take it and do as she asked. 

she would see a blue haired boy jump into the black sea, and jacket knew what the mist could do. there was a large chance that this kid was going to drown. jacket would put her hands on alex dragon's shoulders, and look into his eyes.

"look, i need you to be a hero right now with me. you need to help me get the person who went into the water a life preserver. you think you can do that with me?" jacket would try to sooth the boy and get him to come with her to help save the blue haired kid from drowning. she would get the boy to help her grab the life preserver and drop it down into the area where the blue haired kid was. if only she knew that dan was there too...

then she heard shugo come back on the ship, screaming. it was the mist....

while vivi was gone, jacket would rush over to shugo and grab his wrists in her hands to stop him from punching the ship again.

"shugo, i'm right here. it's jacket. take a deep breath. you're listening to the fear right now." she would speak soothingly to him, and bring one hand up to his cheek. she would try to console him, get him out of the fear that they had both experienced.

the violet haired girl would return with her backpack full, and jacket would take it and thank the girl, before returning back to shugo to check up on him. she knew that she could trust the other girl, and would get right to work.

"i have to get working on something, but i'm right here, okay? i'll be right beside you. you need to listen to me though. i need you to get through this and listen to what i tell you."

jacket would kneel on the ground and take out a water bottle from her backpack and empty it on the ground. she would then open one of the alcohol bottles and dump half of it into the water bottle, saving it for later. taking the knife the other girl gave her, and slice the hem of her dress, stuffing it in the bottle. she would keep working on this for as long as she could, making as many molotov cocktails as she possibly could before she too was attacked. she would keep everything in her bag, try to keep what she was doing as hidden as possible, even to those around her on her side.

she would watch as the wraith would board the ship, and move her body to hide what she was doing. his moves were cocky - walking slowly towards them as if they couldn't stop them. jacket would hold her breath as she watched, trusting the violet haired girl to get herself away. if not, she would have to step in.

Vivi's attack would come much faster than expected, and the sight of the blood blade surprised Valo (not that anyone could tell). His body moving on its own volition would act on pure instinct, doing its best to sidestep at the first possible instant. The creature was held back by the limitations of the body it resided in, and wasn't able to entirely avoid the strike. Vivi's attack would strike the upper left part of The Wraith's mask in the middle of his sidestep, breaking it off. He would allow Vivi to keep going at her momentum as he'd reach down to grab her by the shirt, tossing her behind him (and hopefully into Soran's strike).

The Wraith would then turn towards Shugo, who was flying towards him. The mask would open at the mouth again, revealing the same gaping black hole as the Wraith let loose an unnerving wail in Shugo's direction. The scream would attack his senses and hopefully cause his accuracy to drop. However, he was still coming in fast, and would strike the Wraith in the face as both of them slammed into the ground, hard. The deck beneath them would begin to crack significantly. Pain shot through Valo's body, but the creature inhabiting him seemed to not show it. Recovering almost immediately, he would grab the grounded Shugo and throw him with full force towards Vivi and Soran.

Standing up to his full height, the pieces of the mask that Vivi and Shugo struck would fall from his face, revealing just his left eye and some of the skin around it. His skin was as white as paper, and his eye was entirely pitch black. Whatever was hidden beneath the mask, it didn't look human. A small gash would be on his left arm where collision with the ship had cut him. Instead of blood, black mist would seep out of the wound visibly.

The three of them together were quite formidable, which meant the Wraith would have to take them out one by one, fast. He stood there, silent, and keeping an eye and an ear out for all of the ones surrounding him. Seven people in the area, four of which were unknown variables in the equation. But no matter, they wouldn't stop him. As much as he hated to admit it, Valo's own mind would be the Wraith's greatest asset in this fight. And in Valo's own tactical mind, he decided to bide his time and see who would make the first move, or who would make the first mistake to capitalize on. All it took was one small moment of panic...

(OOC: Wraith Cry (Tier 2) - The Wraith lets loose an unnerving, high pitched shriek to attack his opponent's senses, distracting them and making them feel as if their own head is screaming at them. Picks a single target and debuffs them -10 WIS for one post. One post per 10 INT. Used on Shugo.)
