A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Zoe leaned back in her seat, looking up to the computer screen with a frown. The screen was huge and crowded into the corner of her small room at her boarding house. Musical instruments could be seen all across the small barren room. All this room had was electronic equipment, musical instruments and her bed along with a small open suitcase of clothes piled onto it.
Furrowing her brows, she adjusted her glasses while reaching to pick up a tuning fork with her free hand. She had several dozen scattered across the floor. Zoe would bring it to a microphone and hit the fork with a metal stick, watching the pitch be recorded into the microphone and appear on her screen. There was a 3d image of a human brain on her screen. Certain parts would light up as the sound played.
Zoe would reach down to pick up another tuning fork, putting down the one she had currently. On the screen in front of her, the sound had been recorded and was now on a loop. She'd hit the new tuning fork, watching how the brain reacted to the high pitched sounds overlapping. Zoe was recording as many frequencies as she could. The girl knew she was onto something. The frequencies she was playing with- when overlapped caused adverse effects in the brains of her targets.
She was just remixing and trying to stabilize them now.

As Zoe tested different frequencies on the computer simulation of a brain, she would notice two main issues with what she was trying to achieve. The first was that, while the effect of the overlapping sounds she was testing did cause adverse effects in the brain. It was fluctuating, going from happening to the bolstering the parts of the brain that it was effecting. Almost like a alternating current, in time with the sounds vibration.
The second issue, was sustainability. As the brain became use to the sound it was subjected to and the effects lessened with time. A state of diminishing returns. She would have to one find some way, of causing the sound to have only the intended effect, as well as thinking of something to prevent the brain becoming use to the sound.

Zoe frowned as she watched her screens, furrowing her brow as she thoughtfully leaned back, eyeing the results. This wasn't good, was it? She'd reach to grab clips of other frequencies, playing them over each other in an attempt to make up for the fluctuating frequencies. Zoe was trying to get them to make up for each other- make them work together to effect a steady area by making up for their shifting nature. Hopefully, as she continued to try new sounds and frequencies, maybe they'd fill in the gaps for each other.
As she did this, Zoe noticed the second issue. That... wasn't very good. She'd clasp her hands together, staring at the screen in thought. If the brain was getting use to the sounds... maybe she should focus on vibrations instead? Reaching out, the girl would begin to type away on her computer, bringing up a flesh and skeleton covering over the brain in layers. She'd play with the frequencies, registering them at vibrations entering through the flesh and being conducted through the body rather than sounds heard from the ear.
She'd continue to play around, trying to make the brain less capable of resisting. All the while, Zoe would try finding patterns that could get more and more intense as the brain became use to the sound before suddenly switching to a different pitch that would disrupt the brain and allow for rotating pitches with similar effects.

As Zoe tried the new methods she would notice a few things. The playing of overlapping sounds, did have some effect on preventing the fluctuating nature, however it was not perfect.
Changing the model to being flesh and bone, and not just a brain did have an effect. This was mostly due, to the fact that so ways of messing with a person with sound is down to the fluid in the ear and bones in the ear as well. The effect seemed more pronounced.
Pitch rotation worked well, however it seemed to aggravate the issue of the fluctuating nature. While it stopped the brain getting use to the effect, when the pitch changed, the effects alternated again for a few seconds, until the overlapping of sound kicked in again.
It was all about balancing pitch.

Zoe face desked. Yep. Her forehead was on her desk. The girl would continue to mess with the frequencies, beginning to alter the pitches and tones to try and perfect it. The more she altered it, the more the girl began to realized that she was beginning to hear something...
Her eyes would narrow as she moved to introduce more and more pitches and sounds, mixing them and overlapping them. Her hands moved rapidly as she tried to cover and mix the pitches. She began to keep the general frequency that caused the effect up for good during the whole sequence- raising it's intensity as she began to introduce sudden blaring pitches to disrupt the brain as it got use to them while keeping the effect going.

It was so close now, the sudden blasts of sound in order to throw the brain off but keeping the majority of the sound going, was almost perfect. In fact she found as she continued to play with the sounds, that overlapping sounds of diametrically opposed pitch together, would pretty much deal with the alternating issue.
Zoe would end up with a clip of sound, one high pitch frequency played at length at the same time as a much lower one. With burst of sounds in the mid range, to throw off the acclimatisation. There was just one missing thing, one missing thing that would make it perfect.

"...A beat."
Her eyes would narrow as she considered it. Zoe hadn't wanted to make the weapons music like at first. She had just wanted to use the frequencies since they were hard to see and even harder to avoid. However, the more she looked at it, the more the girl realized that what she was seeing was looking more like music.
Her hands would flash across the keyboard as she began to try fine tuning it all. The girl would drag a pulsing beat into the fray that kept a solid rhythm throughout the whole thing. She was composing now, not just randomly tossing in pitches to try and make them fit.

As Zoe started to change the sound, working in a rhythm to it, a beat. It seemed to work like a charm. Music was a strange thing, while the brain could be heavily effected by it. Certain pitches and progressions having different effects on the emotional state of a person. She had hit on the point, of having it effect their physical state as well.
And even if a person can consciously predict where a song may go next, based on what they have heard so far. It was not possible for the brain to completely ignore it. If the tunes had been simple repetitive, maybe that would have been the case. However as such a skilled musician, she was able to create growing pieces. Pieces that evolved and changed while still keeping the underlying sounds require for the effects to work under them.
She had done it.

Zoe grinned widely as her eyes looked over the 3d model. She'd lean back, cracking her knuckes before checking the time. It was 2AM. She wasn't going to sleep tonight. No, she was going to be busy writing some new songs.
