welcome
Welcome delinquents to PHS #552. A few reminders, no rough housing, no running in the hallways, no cheating, and no talking back to your teachers. Beyond that, enjoy yourselves. After all these are the years you’ll look back on, and remember, you mother fuckers peaked too early.

A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

School had just ended at #552, and the vast majority of students had already begun to make their way home. Those with vehicles drove, those who walked were walking, and those who took the bus were already boarding their buses. Rakeem, however, was not ready to leave just yet, as he had some tutoring and the like he desperately needed to take care of. It wasn't that he needed help with his studies, or even understanding the material, necessarily, but given the way most people treated him during the day, he didn't have the necessary resources to learn all he needed to during the typical school day. So, he came after school, every day, and retrieved the lesson for the day from his teachers.
Today was to be like any normal day, or at least that's how things looked initially. However, the moment Rakeem stepped out of the main building, he was greeted with a skateboard being slammed into his back - between the shoulders, mostly - and the force was enough to send him almost flying off of the stairway. He landed in the middle of the courtyard in a roll, quickly regaining his footing as he observed the people who so randomly attacked him. He had no understanding of the reason for the violence in the school, though he was at least certain of the reason he was being attacked.
He was different.
"I'll give you one chance to walk away," Rakeem stated plainly as he was approached by six, much larger students. Was he bluffing, here? Most definitely, but he needed to try and assert some dominance to keep from being walked all over by everyone.

Levi stood in the entry way, texting his brother before the sound of a skateboard hitting the ground and the obvious target of said skateboard came stumbling towards the exit. Levi eyed the boy who had put up an impressive front to the six larger students who were clearly looking to "introduce" the poor kid to 552. Levi slowly walked towards the bully closest to him, the kid's right, and stopped right in his face.
"Hey, six on one is kinda bs, why don't you cowards piss off before I start to get pissed?"
Levi wasn't one to just start pounding someone's face in, but it was the only warning they would get. Maybe they knew who he was, maybe not, but either way, there was only one safe way out for them. Levi stared, unblinking into the bully's eyes with a serious, but lucid expression on his face.

Rakeem never expected help. In all of his years, he was taught that a man must fend for himself, in any and all situations. Even when faced against greater odds that he did not believe he could overcome on his own. And yet, from nowhere, a man he had never seen nor heard of in his life stepped forward and spoke in his defense. Needless to say, it caught him off-guard, but he couldn't allow his problems to be so easily cast away, especially by someone he'd never met. There would be a debt owed, of course, but that debt would be lessened by his own contribution. "You talk tough," the man Levi approached spoke with a cocky grin. "But you're just asking for as bad of a beating as the squirt here." And as quickly as he could, he would launch a headbutt directly for Levi's forehead. Now, Rakeem had no idea just who his "savior" was, so he obviously had no clue the man could defend himself, but he could read the opponent like a book. As the man went in for his headbutt, a light would flash in front of Rakeem and a construct would appear. In one swift motion, he lobbed the construct at the man's face and it would strike hard against the side of it, knocking him over. The construct itself would remain in midair, just a short distance in front of Levi, assuming he didn't react just yet. "I told you to walk away." The boy's previously brown eyes would radiate with a blue aura for the moment, and he held his hand out as though he was willing the construct to move as he commanded. The five standing men started to back away, shouting things like "freak" and "monster" as they did so. It was like a repeat of his last school, and he started to wonder if he was going to be expelled from here, as well. "... Thanks," he spoke to Levi quietly. //Temporal Construct Used 3/4 Post Remaining

It must be my birthday...
Levi wouldn't admit it readily, but he loved it when little shits like this picked a fight and ever nbetter when they didn't know not to fight him. He easily read the headbutt and angled his forehead to make sure the punk took the brunt of his own attack before something took the guy out. Levi's eyes opened wide as he looked back to the kid, noticing the glow in his eyes. He forced a small chuckle as he smiled at the boy.
"Umm what was that?"

The construct would slowly drift back to Rakeem, and suddenly, it would shrink and shoot swiftly to his palm. Upon making contact with his skin, it would disintegrate, and with its leave his eyes would turn back to their regular brown. Those hues would look up to Levi with a cocked brow, accompanied by a curious frown. Most ran from the sight, but this guy only had questions. So, he was unique in two different ways so far.
"... this? My gift." Rakeem jerked a thumb at the white markings adorning his face. "They're the reason I'm here in the first place. That doesn't... frighten you?"
