“Please… I don’t want to hurt any of you! But I have to stop John Strike! We can’t keep living in a world like this! This isn’t right! Everyday people are getting hurt. We have to replace this… with an era of peace.”
A few of the men laid down their weapons and stepped to the side. Many more of them continued standing in my way. I stood there in my combat suit and pulled the visor back down to cover my eyes and face. I ran forward, my gauntlets starting to light up with the heat energy the Steam Golem drew. This was it… the final fight. And I fought. I was separated from the rest of my comrades so it was just me standing down this regiment of the army.
I charged forward full speed ahead and threw my body into a strong right jab punching one soldier in the stomach, sending him flying into another soldier. I quickly pivoted counter clockwise, slamming my left elbow into another soldier’s jaw. He stumbled slightly, but before he got too far, I grabbed him by the back of his flak jacket and slammed him on the ground in front of me. Leaping into the air of the unconscious body, I gathered electricity into my right hand. Mustering all of my energy, I slammed my fist into the ground as I landed sending a shockwave around me strong enough to blow away a couple soldiers.
“Enough.”
His voice boomed and the soldiers quickly scurried behind him. John Strike approached me. I felt an enormous pressure. It was the first time I had met him. My hand trembled for a moment. The last moment I promised myself that they would ever tremble.
“The Ex-Knight of 552. I hear you’ve been making a lot of waves. That’s okay. My men are already confronting Amakusa, and a unit already arrived at the tv station that Morei and Ankari are broadcasting from.”
“Threatening my friends won’t make me back down. It only reminds me that monsters like you need to be stopped.”
I charged at him. Rookie mistake. He blocked my flurry of punches and a kick from him sent me soaring. I recovered in mid-air with a back flip and landed on my feet. This time he came at me. I did my best to keep up with his punches, blocking and dodging. A few quick jabs caught me in the chest and then one to the helmet cracked my visor. The force of that last punch was enough to send me sliding back.
I punched a fist into the ground, stopping myself from sliding away any further. I panted softly as I looked down at the ground. I closed my eyes for a moment. Letting out a long, soft breath, I collected myself. I entered SEED Mode… my QI ability. My eyes opened as I slowly turned my head up to look at Strike. The crack in my helmet showed one eye, pupil dilated and iris enlarged.
“Eyes that pierce straight through. Desperate enough to use that ability that almost killed you when you used it against my one of my lieutenants. Interesting. Let’s see how it works for you.”
We both charged each other at the same speed. I surprised myself a little bit. I was fast in SEED mode, but I had never moved this fast. We both through a powerful fist at each other’s face, a race to see who would connect first. I-
BEEP BEEP BEEP!
“..Wha-… What the?! 7:30?! I’M GOING TO BE LATE!”
The dark blue haired boy got out of his bed and raced out of his room. Approximately two seconds later, he ran back in to grab a towel as he raced into his bathroom. The fuzzy dog that was previously at the foot of his bed got up and cuddled up on the pillow as the boy ran around. He would quickly throw on a pair of blue boxers, some blue slim-fit jeans, black t-shirt, and a gray sweatshirt.
Grabbing his backpack, the boy would run down the stairs and hop onto his bicycle. It was times like this that made him wish he had his own car. What was that about his mother wanting him to be humble and earning things? As he charged through the courtyard of the school, he saw a figure ahead of him that he almost crashed his bike into. Quickly the boy veered right and straight into a pile of leaves.
“WOOAHHHHH!”
