A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

The apartment where Steven lived was a good one. A modern build making other apartment building in the area look old in comparison. The apartment was on the second floor. The front door led in to a large open living area, with not much in it. A leather chair for comfort. An office chair and computer desk and then the walls. Or it would have been walls if not for the large number of bookcases blocking them, some filled with books while others only baring a few tomes. His own personal library was sorted well.
Off the main room was an open section of wall that led into the apartments kitchen, which was small but well equipped and underused. As well as two door the led farther into the home. One into his bathroom. Which was normally a mess, and not cleaned as often as maybe he should. It was hard for a young man, one not even out of his teens to live alone. Doing chores such as cleaning bathrooms didn't seem important.
The other door lead into his bedroom. Which was even more un-lived in looking then the main room seemed to be. It had a chest of draws for clothes, a single coat stand in the corner, and then a large king size bed which he sometime slept in, if he didn't fall asleep in his chair. Even when used, he normally just fell on top of the covers meaning the sheet weren't even that out of place.
Steven would normally be in either of the chairs of the main room. With a book in hand and music playing out of his PC monitor.

Lightning Gang
|
Post by Allen Hollows on Jan 2, 2015 15:26:51 GMT -5
Allen had been out for a jog, but not aimlessly this time. He was headed for the location of Stevens. He had been there a couple weeks back, and needed to see him.
In short order he would arrive, jogging up to the front door after heading through the base stairs to knock, waiting for a response. Once the door opened, Allen would give a chuck up of his chin with a light "Yo", indicating he'd want to come inside.

Steven was surprised by the knock on the door. Not many people knew where he lived, and his cousin actually had a key for the apparent so that he could drop by unannounced. Steven would get up from the chair, the office one today placing his book down on the desk top, and hitting the off button on his pc screen causing the sound to die with it.
He would then go answer the door, and be surprised to see Allen. "Hey man what's up?" Steven would greet opening the door wider so as to let him inside.

Allen would shrug, shifting to move inside.
"Not much man. Actually came by to talk for a bit. You got some time?"
He'd look around. Just as neat as always. There was a book, of course, as Steven was well known for sporting. Allen wasn't much of a reader, though he did enjoy graphic novels and comic books. He would stick his hands in his pockets, and assuming Steven was willing to chat for a bit, he'd clear his throat. He'd..never actually done this before.
"So...not long after the last time I was here, I was recruited into a school gang. Lightning gang. I was skeptical, the first time I met them, as you are probably more than a little right now. But after working with them for a few weeks they seem to really have their heads on straight. They value friendship and cohesion, and pretty much everything good you could want a group like that to be."
He'd gesture at Steven.
"And I want you to join up with us."
And there it was.

Steven listened as was slightly surprised by the offer, and as Allen put it skeptical. He didn't really agree with the concept of gangs. Mostly because the idea of gangs in his mind was the stereotypical norm. "Seriously a gang man why?" Steven would ask no having expect it. Hell how on earth did he come across the gang as well, especially a gang with such a strange but simple name.
"Plus I'm not just gonna say yes man. You're cool I know you, but I wouldn't know anyone else anyway." Steven would add on, not getting the whole draw of gangs. You could make friends yourself and know you got on with them all. But a gang well there could be someone amoung them you didn't like and you couldn't really drop them without dropping everyone else.

Lightning Gang
|
Post by Allen Hollows on Jan 2, 2015 16:11:20 GMT -5
Allen took a deep breath. How to explain?
"There are a few reasons I could give you. First, there is already another gang at 552, and they aren't exactly the kindest sort, from what I've heard. Left a kid bloody and drooling on their mark in the middle of the cafeteria. Lightning Gang doesn't do that to people. We don't do any of the spray painting, gun trafficking or drug dealing crap. We protect people, and each other."
Allen would lean against the wall.
"Let me give an example. A while back, my sister was jumped by a gang called the Riot Squad. They are the kind of gang that matches the stereotype. They hurt people for fun. Their plan, we assume, was to take my sister and sell her into a kind of...perverted slavery. Luckily, the First Pillar was with her and was able to help out. But they attacked again a few days ago, intent to take my sister again. If our leader, Leon Sudeki, hadn't been there she would be gone right now."
He looked down at the ground and then back up.
"Believe me when I say I'm no fan of gangs. But this is why I wanted into the Pillars. To do what LG is doing. And despite the qualms you may have about not knowing anyone, we're pretty tight knit. You give the guys thirty minutes of your time and take a tag to your shirt, it doesn't matter if you don't know them. They will get to know you and treat you like family."
He didn't know if he'd be able to talk him into it, but he wanted Steven there. They were going to take care of the school, and make it better. He hoped Steven would come along for the ride.

As Allen spoke an righteous anger welled up inside of Steven's gut. He hadn't got to know Allen's sister too well yet, but the idea of someone trying to kidnap her and force her into those sort of things. Well it could be any women even one he hadn't met and it would piss him off. Did human desire of greed, lust and power have to be so great that compassion and kindness in the world seemed to pale in it's comparison. "Is she alright?" The talk about the gangs, forgotten for the time being. Concern for Phoebe taking the spotlight for the time being. Steven would wait for an awnser to the uestion before speaking at length about what his thought were about joining the lightning gang.
"I want to help people too. If your guys are for that then I'm in. Just know I have something in the works. Something that could hopefully be more help to those who need then a single gang fighting back against the dark. So if I'm in, well I might just drop out to focus on that. But that's the future, what I have in mind, well there are a few of us building up to it slowly, and in secret. If that's cool, then I might just join you, after I've met them of course. Especially the leader, so I can shake his hand for protecting Phoebe."

Allen would grin.
"LG is tight knit, but we allow people to branch out. I still plan on going for School Captain. And I have other things in mind to do. If you have other plans, feel free to continue them."
He would nod and whip out his phone, sending off a text to Leon that Steven was in whenever the lightning leader wanted to meet him.
"Okay. I'll be in touch then when we're ready to hang out and Leon can meet you. Sound good?"
He had some work to do.

Well there was no harm in meeting them, he could still say no later on if that was what he wanted. The face that Allen was still planning to go for the position of school captain wasn't surprising though. To be honest, the current one had given him an extra reason to want to fight him, due to hitting on his sister.
"Well alright man, just call." Steven would agree to meeting the gang. Planning in the mean time to ask Mathew and Yamabara about the gang, they had been at the school longer then he had. If it was one of the older gangs around they might know something about it.

"Sweeeeet. Alright man, I'll chat with them tonight. We'll get ahold of you as soon as possible."
He'd offer Steven the customary low-five to fist bump and "later" before heading back to the door to leave. Once out, he'd head back home to talk to the gang.
