(OOC: A Journal of the history of 552 from Steven view, will be updated with both Steven's and the school in general major events. Closed to All)
My name is Steven Rosett, at the time of writing this I am a senior at Public High School #552. I recently transferred this school after events in my previous school forced me to New York city. At first I had quite large doubts in this new school. On my first day, and the start of the semester, I arrived to school in time to see an announcement made by two of the pillars of the school. For those who do not know of the pillar system, it is a group of four students, normally the four strongest fighters around. They are given responsibility by the school to enforce the school rules, and can only be replaced by losing in an official challenge or if one gives the title to another willingly.
The announcement that day was one I did not like. Apparently the school allowed fighting, as long as both parties agreed and no serious injuries were inflicted. However I believed that this only encouraged violence by those who had no intention of following the rules as stated. This feeling was quickly proved somewhat true, when another student attempted to punch me in the face for seemingly no reason. At that point I was quick in avoiding the conflict and left the courtyard in order to stay out of trouble and prevent myself becoming injured.
Over the next few days I would start to meet other students in the school. Among these was the first pillar of the time. Saya Shinrai, a young women with a level of skill for fighting I had not seen to that date. Distance and prone to violence against those who got to close without permission or those who broke the rules of the school. She could be extremely brutal, but had a strict desire to enforce the rules as effectively as possible.
Not long after this I would meet the Hollows siblings, Allen and Phoebe. A nice pair, seemingly well-adjusted by the school's standard. Allen was set on one day aiming for the position of school captain, the leader of the pillars. So who would interrupt the first time we had all met at once, but the current school captain of our own school.
It was surprising that at end of the night. With Allen and Phoebe running away after the young man had decided to kick Mark Kent, the school captain in the genitals and leaving me alone against the giant of a man. That he did not continue the fight, we had been having. Instead I met him the following day, where unlike the brutal rumours I heard about him. He quite calmly showed me around school from a pillar perspective. It was at the point as I was starting to believe that the current pillars of the school were maybe not as bad I had first thought, I had decided the pillar system as long as they were in the role may not be so bad, and I could focus my own efforts on trying to prevent violence in the school in my own way.
A few days later, chaos came to school.
