It had been about a week since the attack on the school by the red head and Riot. He had been in contact with many individuals both in and out of school, and today...today was the day his carefully laid plans came to fruition. The last time Edgar Krane approached the office of headmaster, it was to announce his candidacy for a roll that had yet to be filled. Now, with so much chaos, the school board was scared. Terrified, even, that there just wasn't enough direction for the students. All the recent gang activity coupled with the direct attack on the Pillars made them more than antsy. They needed a firm hand. He walked into the office of the Headmaster and stared around himself. The Class. The wealth. The firm reward of an unjust system. He wore a black suit with fringes, his hair sleaved back as he eyed the place that seemed to swell the power in his chest. " It begins." He would step inside, running a hand along the oak desk. Bringing his fingertips up to trim them over the books and the globe. Edgar Corbin Krane pulled out the chair and looked at the door, taking a deep, slow breath before lowering himself into the seat. Any minute now, the announcement would break through, and the power table would shift in his favor. It would be up to him to solidify it.

“I see you’re getting used to your new office.”
Gregoire stepped into the new Headmaster’s office with a slight smirk on his lips. This man was the Chancellor of the New York City School Board. He would of course step into the office and sit down on one of the plush chairs in the room, making himself quite comfortable. He would speak once more, his tone calm and polite yet demanding.
“In the wake of the tragedies that had befallen your school, I believed that the school would need a steady hand. I heard you came to the student’s aid and acted as a strong Leader. Coupled with your military background. I can see no one more fitting to be the new Headmaster. Of course, something must be done of the Pillars. It appears that it was them after all who had put your school in jeopardy.”

Edgar would watch the man enter, leaning back as he spoke and adjusting his suit. He would watch the fellow until he finished, an easy smile coming to his lips.
"Yes, I know. There is more going on behind the scenes than I know about. I don't like that. It causes problems both for myself and for the school board. I'll be...adjusting the current Pillars and their roles, as well as bringing in some individuals I can use to lean on the others with. Things will take a far more...prolific shift. You have made the right choice."
He would offer the man a drink of whiskey from the bottle in his desk. It was after hours on a Friday, after all.
