A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

There was a dull thud!
"—ack!"
And then sounds of a slight, scuffling scramble.
"Come in!"

Allen opened the door. In his arms was a duffle. He walked in and set it on the bed, regardless of where she was. He was wearing shorts and a white tank top. Reaching into the back, he pulled out....Phoebe's MMA gloves. He tossed them on the bed, walking around to her dresser without talking to her and grabbing her workout clothes. He pulled them out and walked over to her, regardless of what she was wearing (unless they were workout clothes too) and would shove them into her arms.
"Get dressed, and meet me in the basement. Now."
As he was walking out, he pointed at the gloves, not looking back.
"And put those on too."
He would shut the door behind him, heading straight downstairs. He put on his gloves as he reached the basement, rolling his shoulders and waiting for her to arrive. Once she did, he would wait until she was on the mat, and if she tried to talk to him or see if he was okay, he would leap forward and aim a hard right kick for her left temple, intent to send her flying or make her defend herself.

Phoebe stared as Allen walked in with the duffle, her green eyes popping wide open.
'CONCERNNNNNNNWHYISN'THETALKINGTOMEWHAT'SWITHTHEDUFFLEISHELEAVINGBUTALLENWEJUSTGOTBACKDON'TLEAVE...uhwat.'
Bee's lips parted as she stared at her younger brother, arms and hands reflexively holding onto the clothes he'd shoved into her arms. She was in loose pants and a t-shirt, her lounge attire, really.
"Uh—Allen, wait, what—"
She stared at the door. Was he mad at her? He seemed to be. What did she do? Obviously he wanted to fight.
Bee looked down at her clothes and sighed. Was she up for it? Probably better to go into the basement than have him burst into her room and start fighting her for not coming down like he said to. She would change and head downstairs, automatically and absentmindedly pulling her gloves on, rather than with purpose.
She blinked as she came down the stairs and stepped forward.
"Allen did I—"
Gah!
Bee's eyes widened and her body automatically reacted, lifting an arm to defend herself. Too late but just enough to lessen the blow.
Instead of knocking her out it sent her sprawling across the mat, floor, and almost to the wall. See, while Bee knew he wanted a fight, she was more concerned with how he was acting. She lay there a second, clearly stunned, and stared at the rack of weights on the opposite side of the basement.
What happened right then?

Allen took, his hands flexing, after his sister flew and sat, looking over at him. He brought his hands up and stared down at them.
"There was a time when I wanted to be School Captain. To..to protect everyone, you especially. Make the school a better place. Then Riot happened. And...and it's okay. I can live with it. When I came back to school, and met Austin and suggested we fight...you....you didn't just seem uninterested. You seemed disheartened. Afraid. Weak."
He looked over at her, determination in his eyes.
"I wanted to be School Captain, and be the strongest...because of you. You have always been my goal line. My idol. I've always played catch up to you. The boxing Champion, the runner...Aaron's favorite. Mom and Dad's favorite. And it's okay, I can understand why. But to see you, not just simply bored with fighting or uninterested- but afraid, because of what has become of this place since we were gone and what happened to you and our family before we left, with no excitement for the competition or the race of life....you are just a scared little girl. Not even a shadow of your former self. I hate it, because you aren't the sister I've looked up to. They took you from me."
He would crack his neck.
"So, I'm going to remind you what it's like to be a fighter, and make you remember why you love it so much. Why you love competition, why you love books and people. Why you love being a champion- I swear, I'm going to beat it out of you, So that I can have my sister back."
If she didn't stand, he would aim a punt-like kick for her chest to send her back to her feet and back smashing into the wall. If she did stand, he would throw a left cross for her face, to make her want to challenge him.

Pheebs sucked in a slow breath and pressed her palms against the floor so she could push herself up into a sitting position, feeling like she was off-kilter. The brunette slowly looked over at her younger brother and blinked as he started to speak.
Bee knew he wanted to be School Captain. He might have even made an excellent one and still could. There wasn't much of anything stopping him aside from the caliber of SC that currently held the title. Pheebs swallowed, dryly, as he continued.
Guilt settled heavily on her shoulders, causing them to slump a little.
She, Phoebe Hollows, was letting her little brother down. She knew she was his hero for so many things, and she had raised him more than their own mother, but she had forgotten. And she had forgotten more than that.
But Allen saying he was going to beat it out of her to remind her - while she could reasonably understand what he actually meant - had a curl of something akin to dread curl itself in her stomach. Not like her, she knew.
But literally fighting for her life had taken its toll, and this, while not fighting for her physical life, this was still fighting for her life on a level above that. And it made her sick—the fact that this was what Allen chose to do about it, the fact it had even gotten here to begin with.
It took a while but she finally started to shift, her joints creaking internally from shock and stress. But apparently it wasn't quick enough for Allen—the boot made her exhale and rock back to her feet, stumbling back into the wall.
She stared, her fists slowly closing to a white-knuckled grip before slackening completely again.

As her back hit the wall, he shouted.
"C'MON, COWARD! FIGHT!"
He would throw a right uppercut followed by a left cross. He didn't care if that's how she saw it- Allen knew she would. She was afraid- fighting for her life made her afraid. Allen fought for his life too- but he was determined not to let that change who he was. He was so disappointed that this was all Phoebe managed to amount to. That one event could rattle her so badly to the core, that even fighting her brother made her afraid. He would, if both punches were blocked or dodged, grab her by the front of the shirt, turn and judo hurl her to the center of the mat.
"What's wrong scaredy cat, you gonna wet the mat?"
That was what was said, he was sure of it. He could still hear that sixteen year old boy smirking down at Phoebe, having beaten her up in the finals. He wondered...if she still remembered. He would attempt a right hook when he got close again, still trying to wake his sister up.

Was she afraid to fight Allen himself? No. She was afraid that she would continue to disappoint him. That she would continue to let him down, let herself, Aaron, their mom, their long-deceased dad down. She was afraid she had already lost all of her spark and that Allen's shouted insult at her was actually true and he was fighting for her with her but nothing would ever come of it.
So his shout that she was a coward just pressed the weight on all the more. She did deflect the uppercut with her forearm, smacking it against his. And she caught the cross with a grunt—only to be thrown onto the mat.
Pheebs exhaled and gave serious consideration to remaining on her back on the mat, straight faced and stubborn. Maybe with her arms crossed over her chest for emphasis. Her green eyes slid to Allen.
At least being stubborn wasn't as bad as giving up.
She remembered. Her eyes flickered with it. She remembered before the fight. The fight itself in clear detail.
And she also remembered the celebration afterwards. And her ex.
Phoebe's brow furrowed a bit.
"...I don't want to hurt and disappoint you, Allen." She could feel how frustrated she was. How cross. How stubborn. How discouraged. "...it's hard."
Where'd her enthusiasm go? How had Riot managed to overshadow her competitive spirit and drive? Her love of life and combat? Was it just the length of time she'd been forced to be careful before they had kidnapped her? Did killing Talon smear what was left of her innocence and colour it all in distaste? Was it getting out of there?
Was it being so removed for the past five and a half months with no contact with anyone aside from Aaron and Biron part of it?
She sighed, unhappy and forlorn.

Allen walked over and grabbed the front of her shirt, lifting her off the floor a little. He wasn't mad- he was straight faced. Staring into her eyes. He loved his sister- more than anyone. But sometimes...she could act like such a child. His words were soft, this time not angry, but he expected her to be paying attention when he told her the only thing he could remember his dad telling his mom before his dad died.
"Honey...it's...i don't know if I can do it. It's so hard."
His dad reached up and gently cupped her cheek, using his thumb to wipe away her tear, opening his mouth with a little smile and saying-
"Everything in life worth having always is, Bee."
He included her name, but that was it exactly. He would give her a few seconds, to let that sink in, before he let her go and backed away, so she could stand on her own. He watched her and waited, to see what she would say.

He had been really young. Bee hadn't flinched when he took her shirt. The worst he could do was hurtle more insults and smash her face in.
But this...this, what he said? That was double edged.
Her eyes stung and she proceeded to rapidly blink, her head thunking lightly against the mat after.
Bee took a deep breath and slowly sat up. Her daddy was one of her more prominent heroes. Just like Aaron and Allen were. She turned her head away a little and sniffed.
Then looked back to Allen.
"What if it never comes back, Allen, no matter how hard I try and go after it?" She felt rather empty, knowing something like that was missing. "How can I just disappoint you guys all the more if that happens? What then?"
Yeah, she was playing the worst-case scenario card.
After she spoke, however, she slowly picked herself up.

Allen would fold his arms. He swallowed- now at least she was talking. She was considering it and the possibility that something was wrong. He would furrow his brow at her next question- she was still living on fear. He would crack his neck.
"No, you're right. It would be far less disappointing for you to just not try. That sounds super reasonable and would make us all really happy."
Dripping sarcasm.

Bee sighed, frustrated.
"No. Allen. You're missing the point. I'm serious: what happens if that worst-case outcome happens?"
She got his point, she did.

"Fine. I don't understand. Tell me what this worst case scenario happens?"
Lets hear her say it.

Bee looked up, straight faced.
"That's why I'm asking you. This, what's happening right now, is why I'm asking you. What happens, if that does happen?"

He blinked several times.
"Phoebe...What if Riot finds out we're back and breaks in? What If I get shot in a drive by shooting on the way to the store? What if meteor hits, and had i stayed here in the basement I could have lived? Should I not have come back? Should I never go to the store? Should I stay in the basement all my life?"
He sighed- perhaps that would frustrate her more.
"You are fooling yourself, Phoebe, into not trying simply because of what might happen if you fail. If you fail I don't know what will happen, I can't predict the future. But we'll be with you the whole way and at least we'll know you tried. That's all I want, Bee. For you to fight."
