*She really should have thought this through. There she was, standing upon the curb outside the dorm with a pile of boxes cluttered about her. The gentlemen that had unloaded her possessions asked her if she needed any assistance getting them up to her room, but as not to be a further inconvenience Aria told them she was fine and bid them farewell. Now, she looked like quite the idiot with all those boxes cluttered about her and no way to transport them all simultaneously to her new living quarters. She supposed she could do it one by one...but she did not know any of the folks around here. She might come back from her room to find all her things had been stolen.*
Aria...why do you put yourself in these situations....
*She muttered to herself, biting her lip. A rosy tint blossomed across her cheeks then, her heart beating loudly in her ears. What a great start this was*

Normal... yes, it was a word that seemed foreign to the white-haired girl. Still, she tried time after time to get better and to conform to be more like others. Not that conforming was necessarily good, but at the same time, she wanted to fit in. She was so eccentric that it was hard for her to fit in in any normal situation or place, and if given a normal situation, she made it weird in her own way. It wasn't a trait she particularly liked, despite how it made her... well, her! The girl would be heading over to the dorms, a paper in hand. She'd gotten a dorm room recently, deciding she wanted to stop living in the Troubled Home for Girls... sure, it was nice, but being surrounded by hundreds of girls all the time disturbed her. She much preferred being around boys. But this was probably due to the fact she was raised by boys, never having had a female influence in her life. She didn't mind girls--she was one, after all--and she had a few friends that were girls, so she certainly didn't have a problem with the same gender as herself... but she didn't like the home for girls. There were NO male influences (and she liked all of her male friends), and most of the girls ignored her, anyway. She didn't feel safe being in the same place with so many girls who had issues just like she had, and she worried for the safety of her companion when she slept... and so, she decided to leave. She knew the school offered dorm rooms. Of course, she didn't know what a "dorm room" was, but it was apparently a living room for students, and she technically qualified. So she decided to take advantage. However, she was hoping she wouldn't be stuck with some weirdo. Or a boy. She liked all of her friends--loved them, even--but she felt it was wrong for a girl and boy to be staying in the same home... well, more or less. She found it awkward, especially considering what things went on in her mind. Ruby was debating if she even wanted to go through with this plan. She had another place she could probably stay at, so was having a dorm room even necessary? She would stop when she saw another girl with silver hair on the sidewalk, surrounded by a bunch of... "What the heck are these?" Ruby muttered, looking at the cardboard boxes. She'd stare at them, poking one with her finger. She would fold up the paper she had and shove it down her shirt before looking at the silver-haired girl before her, taking in her appearance. She looked pretty tough, but quite feminine at the same time. And Ruby was quite shocked to see someone else with white hair like her own--though this girl's gave off more of a silver like shine to it. "Do you need help?" Ruby wondered aloud, noticing how the girl seemed somewhat troubled with all of the boxes. She didn't look it, but Ruby was pretty strong and would be able to lift basically any of the boxes before her...
