A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

[ Cedric Kenelm Not trying to break the grip, just mitigate the arm twist. I'm also assuming you mean Cedric is sliding his right foot forward to deliver a right elbow strike, since it wouldn't make sense to be striking with the grabbing arm. Correct me if I'm wrong and I'll remake the post.] Jude had no escape from Cedric's tight grip and pull. Seeing the elbow strike coming towards him, Jude would rotate his body counterclockwise to soften the blow as best as he could. After the elbow made a glancing, but still heavy impact on the left side of his ribcage, Jude would grimace and draw in a shallow breath at the sharp pain. Jude would then continue his original trajectory to the left of Cedric and attempt an open handed strike to the left side of Cedric's head. Even if this strike were successful, it wouldn't be too effective given Jude's lack of breath and focus after being hit by Cedric's elbow. |

Jude LiangCedric took the tap to the head not really taking any damage for multiple reasons. Cedric then quickly grabbed the arm that he was already grabbing with his other hand turned his body, drove his hip into Jude while pulling Jude's arm over his shoulder to try to execute a typical judo throw. (OOC sorry for not posting yesterday, kinda got caught in a funk)

[ Cedric Kenelm No worries, it happens. As you can see the fight is about over anyways haha.] As soon as Cedric released Jude's arm, Jude would attempt to pull away as a gut reflex. But, Cedric's speed would allow him to grab Jude's arm with the other hand before Jude could perform a clean escape. Jude was somewhat unprepared for the hip throw that came next. He would try to plant his feet, lower his center of gravity, and counterbalance the throw. However, as Jude was a head shorter than Cedric and 50 lbs. lighter, there wasn't much he could do. Jude loosened his body as he flew into the air, and made sure to spread the floor's impact across as much of his body surface area as possible...but it still hurt like a b*. Lying on the ground, clutching his chest, Jude would wheeze, "Alright...I think, I think you got me man. 2-1, good fight. I think this last point might count as two, actually, since I'm dying over here." Jude would laugh, feeling bruised yet satisfied. |

[ Cedric Kenelm] Jude would gladly take Cedric's hand and hoist himself up with its assistance. Although still winded and sore from the fall that he had taken, Jude appreciated this opportunity to learn some practical skills without having to put his life on the line. Wincing as he prodded a purple spot on his side, Jude would say, "The whole point of finding a quiet spot to practice alone was to avoid putting pressure my body...but this was a nice change of pace. I'm Jude, by the way. And I'll definitely look for you if I want to push my limits further." This guy was a challenging opponent who had expertise in areas that Jude could use some improvement in, so Jude wouldn't be surprised if they somehow ended up in the ring together, again. [OoC: Your win, good fight.  It's on you to exit whenever you want, I'll be ending on the next post anyway.] |

Jude LiangCedric let go off Jude's hand " Likewise, and uh my name is Cedric." he said turning around to leave but pausing before the door " Oh and by the way if you want to improve just practicing alone will only get you so far you need to actually get in there and get tossed around a bit, trust me around here that accelerates your growth like you wouldn't believe."

[ Cedric Kenelm] Cedric's last minute advice struck a chord with Jude. All these years, he had been reading and practicing forms to absorb what he thought was the most valuable knowledge. But now, what he needed most was practical training. And if he could get to even a 50% level of Cedric's, Jude would not hesitate to train doubly hard. Jude would nod after thinking about this, and then give a salute to Cedric as he exited. It was time to take things up a notch. [OoC: Thread concluded. Winner: Cedric.] |
