This place was seriously starting to creep Jude out. He was never fond of playing in the dark, or in small, enclosed spaces. If it weren't for the familiar luminescence of a candle, Jude probably would have lost his composure immediately. As he breathed deeply and conducted his tests, Jude noticed a small green light that would flash every time a shadow fell over the camera lens at the door. This was important information that Jude would store in his memory. As Jude progressed to holding the candle and moving it, he also noticed that the pedestal's shadow could reach the walls of the room. Another important fact.
Jude would combine these two observations, taking the candle and placing it so that the shadow of the pedestal would fall directly over the camera lens. If green light did indeed mean 'go,' then Jude would be on the right path. If the candle wasn't enough, Jude would light the match and use it to try and enlarge the shadow over the lens without consuming the entire match.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | A green light would flash as soon as he kicked the pedestal, well shit. He made another kick at the pedestal before even realizing it, causing the pedestal to roll forward. "Shit." He was pretty sure he had just messed himself up as the candle had just extinguished itself. He then tried to fix things up. He stood the pedestal up once more, only this time, it was a lot closer to the door due to it falling and rolling over. He would then pick up the candle and strike the match on the wall and he then lit up the candle on his way back to the pedestal. But on the bright side, he now knows about the whole green light thing and how the pedestal and the candle could be moved. As always, throwing out a tantrum always helps him think. So he then did what made the green light shine earlier and cast his shadow over the lens for a few moments and wait until something would actually happen.

TAG ▪ NOTES N ikko sighed a bit as lighting the match was a fail. Now he just had a burnt out match and the candle. He can't figure out why he even lit the match right away, maybe his mind was hazy from something. Oh, right, the weird sparkles. If he can he will pick up the candle and examine the room. He looks for any abnormalities in the walls and corners. He also tried to see how low the ceiling was, by holding the candle up high. Afterwards he would sigh again as he wondered how he even got into this mess. The one thing he was sure is that he would be able to get out eventually, this is a game, right?

Everytime Dante's shadow would move over the door, Dante would see a green light. He didn't know what this meant at all, he would get closer to it and try different things with his shadow. He would have the shadow of his head in front, the shadow of his arm in front, and the shadow of his finger, testing each out to see what would happen. Each time the green light would show, this made him confused more.
"Neh, I get that you want me to go to the door Mr. Shadow, but how am I supposed to open it?" He would ask his own shadow hoping to hear a reply. After a little with no reply he would sit and watch the flames on the candle. He would pull the candle and the match closer to him observing them closely, he would then pick up the watch and hold it in front of the candle to see its shadow. Dante would align the shadow of the match to the spot on the door where the light was coming from, out of curiosity. He would then wait to see if anything would happen.

Felix BookerFelix would find the light would turn green. Asiv observed the display all though not how he set up the riddle, the riddle had still been solved... So Felix would hear a loud metallic thud from the door as the light turned blue and waited for mister Booker to make his next move. If he chose to go through the door he would find himself in a dark room, this room had a pedestal in the middle. There were urns 12 in all with some sort of coals in them in a perfect circle about seven feet from the pedestal in the middle of the room. "In reflections of life I'm up and down, simply a passing moment, but you will see me twice a day." Jude LiangAsiv watched intent to see what Jude would do, and he would do it marvelously. As the candle was set down behind the pedestal to cast the shadow the light would turn blue and a loud metallic thud would come from the door. If Jude decided to step through he would find himself in another room, except this one had another person! It was Felix Booker. Aldritch HexellAsiv was hesitant to say the least about the albino boy and his methods of solving this mess of a puzzle. However he was so very close. Two had already moved on, and it was coming up on a time limit for them to leave the rooms, but Asiv believed Aldrich needed only a bit more time. Al would note the green light was solid and staying there. Nikko AlberichNikko was definitely the odd one out of the bunch. Nikko seemed analytical for sure checking for things, and he would note the ceiling was only about nine feet up. Asiv wondered how long it would take so he decided to speak again. "When is your shadow the longest?" Dante KirisakiAnd now we have the broken child, the one Asiv wanted to get his hands on for other things. Even more apparent by talking to the shadow. Asiv grinned. As it was hint time. "When is your shadow the longest?"

Casting the shadow of the pedestal over the camera lens seemed to work, as evidenced by the loud thud that sounded from the door. This must have been the locking mechanism. Jude pocketed the match, held on to the candle, and decided to step through to the next room. After all, the only way to go was forward.
The new room was another dark room with a pedestal, this time with a ring of coal-filled urns surrounding it. It was probably another puzzle. The disembodied voice from earlier spoke again, "In reflections of life I'm up and down, simply a passing moment, but you will see me twice a day." Naturally, this hint was as mysterious and indirect as the previous one.
Jude would have gone right to work, but he saw another person in the room. Was that...was that Felix? Pinching the bridge of his nose, Jude closed his eyes. Of course. Felix always happened to be around when things started to get weird. Then, Jude wondered if this was the real Felix. This dark labyrinth was supposed to be a dream, or an induced hypnotic illusion. So maybe this Felix was part of the illusion, as well.
Nonetheless, Jude would have to work together with Felix to escape this place. So, Jude would speak with a calculated calmness, "Felix. Fancy seeing you here. You have any idea how to solve this one? I think it has something to do with the time of day, like a clock, maybe."

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Having his attempt to do nothing at all but shine a green light, Al went on a tantrum again. Throwing tantrums makes him think better as it releases all his stress, it's just how Al works. After a few moments of screaming and kicking the wall, he finally calmed down and began to think as he paced back and forth. "Where there is light, there is shadow..." He had thought to himself. "Where is the light? Obviously in the candle. No. The candle is the light. And the candle is in the pedestal. The light is in the pedestal. And obviously, the pedestal has a...." An idea suddenly popped into Al's head. "A shadow!" Al shouted. And so, Al made some adjustments
Al moved the pedestal a bit closer to the door, to the point where it's shadow would be able to reach the door. And then, Al grabbed the candle he had placed on the floor for a while to cast the pedestal's shadow on the lens. "This better work."

Felix strode through the door confidently, but not before grabbing the candle. 'Better to have it and not need it etcetera, etcetera!' Since he had solved that puzzle, he felt he could do anything. As he entered the room he heard the disembodied voice again. He was getting the feeling it was The Suit, talking to him. He was already imagining breaking the guys neck with a German Suplex.
"In reflections of life I'm up and down, simply a passing moment, but you will see me twice a day."
Sitting in front of him was another pedestal surrounded by urns. His positive feelings from before disappeared almost instantly. He had been ready for anything . . . except another puzzle. "Great, another riddle. Just what I need ri-" His ranting was stopped by a familiar face. He didn't know if this was a joke or something. But the will of the universe seemed adverse to the idea of separating them. Still the other boy was a welcome sight, in this test of his will. Apparently he had been put up to the same task as him, Felix hadn't even considered the other students being sent here with him. It made him curious as to what they were making them do as well.
He shrugged at Jude's question raising a brow, "I have no idea. A clock would make sense." He walked around the room examining it fully, as he walked around, an hunch was forming in his head. "Maybe the puzzle isn't a clock." He paced around the room, the hunch was turning into a theory that was making more and more sense, as he thought of it. If shadows and light was the theme of the last test, then it was probably the same for this test as well. A clock made sense but it didn't quite fit, not entirely. There was a piece missing. If not a clock then maybe . . .
"Time. Maybe the time of day." As he spoke Felix got noticeably his body language literally bursting with energy. "Up and down, reflections, twice a day . . . do you think?" He paused not quite sure of himself but staying in this place didn't sound to good. "Do you think he means the sunset, and sunrise?" Assuming Felix was right, how were they expected to portray what The Suit, wanted; with the tools provided.

[ Felix Booker] Now they were thinking like detectives. Felix was noticeably excited about the time of day idea, and Jude nodded in agreement. Sunrise and sunset seemed to make sense: twice a day, the sun reflects on the sky and water, and so on. Yet Jude still felt a twinge of doubt. So he mused out loud to Felix, "Sunrise, sunset...could be. But how are we supposed to show that with a bunch of coals and pots? Unless you can tell me what time the sun is rising and setting today, I say we try another idea." Jude was smart, but not so bored as to memorize the time of the sun's passage each day. Tapping on his chin, Jude spoke again, "Can we test out the clock? There's 12 urns, 12 numbers. We can light two urns that are across each other in circle. Up and down, like the hands of a clock. The clock can only show the same position twice a day, right?" If Felix was amicable to this suggestion, Jude would ask him to stand at the opposite urn, and on the count of three, they would light their respective coals with flames from their candles.

Pouting slightly at having his hard earned theory destroyed so quickly. He was proud of it. But the other boy was probably right. Letting out a sigh he spoke, "Alright, lets try it." He ran over to the urn opposite of Jude's, candle poised for action. He was feeling a bit nervous, he hoped they were right on this. Voice slightly unsteady he counted down. "Three . . . two . . ." He paused for a second taking a breath. "Fuckitthree." Lighting his coals, burning his hand slightly with the wax. He looked towards Jude hoping they had done this right.

Dante would smile as he heard 'Mr. Shadow' give him a hint, this hint helped quite a bit in some sense. He is about average when it come to intelligence, so in other words he wasn't stupid, but he wasn't the smartest, so he understood the hint. He didn't really use his head a lot though to think of the answer, instead his imagination would get the better of him and control his actions. He would feel the candle to check its heat, either way not caring as he would hold it between his fingers. He would notice that anything in front of the candle was longer than it seemed. Dante would look to see what he hadn't tried to use to make a shadow, the only thing left in the room was the pedestal where the candle was.
Dante would laugh a little as he believed he figured out how to open the door where 'Mr. Shadow' wanted him to go. He would place the candle on the floor and put the pedestal in front of it, making sure the shadow would line up to where the green light was.
"Did I get it right Mr. Shadow?" He would ask with a smile on his face as he waited for the response.

TAG ▪ NOTES N ikko listens to the hint and hums. Well he wasn't especially good at riddles or anything, but it felt like he was betting something in this place, which made his mind go into overdrive.
After he noticed the ceiling was pretty high he thought about his shadow again. In his mind he should probably blow the candle out as his shadow was part of the darkness and therefore if it was dark it would be the largest. Though with the opposite, too much light would cancel a shadow, but having it just right will give the highest visible shadow.
He could be interpreting completely in the wrong direction, but he was going to stick with his plan and theory. Also something bothered him. The voice that was speaking. He wasn't sure where it was coming from. but staring at the lenses on the handle he tapped it and then stopped. Why was he being watched?
In fact, this might make his job easier as he blew out the candle so the room became pitch dark. He stood in place, not moving in case he bumped into anything. With no one able to see anything, the game would probably be over. Under his breath he muttered a few words. "Is it checkmate?"

Felix Booker / Jude LiangThrough the power of friendship! Asiv smirked, they had some good problem solving instincts. Lighting the coals cause the pillar to set off two shadows, one pointing up the other down, thus the door behind Felix would have a small blue light before a loud unlocking. That oddly disembodied voice being audible again. "Congratulations. Save your friend." If they went charging beyond the door... Aldritch HexellHex finally got it figured and would get the green light to turn blue the loud unlocking mechanism would be heard. Should he enter the next room he would find the next room was empty completely. Three doors opposing the one he came in labeled each simply. 1. Rage, 2. Serenity, 3. Power If he were to turn around he would see a mirror, as tall as himself so he can see all of himself. Nikko AlberichAsiv laughed in his little control room watching the monitors. Nikko was much fun, much fun. Play the game by forcing the hand of the controller. Very different indeed, Asiv liked this one. So hitting a few buttons, Nikko would fall asleep once more in darkness before waking up in a room tied to a large 'X'. In the room was a young man with white hiar and blue eyes. He wore black leather clothing that appeared padded and a large grin. The young man was silent and waiting. In would come Felix Booker and Jude Liang. They would find the scene as it was. "Save your friend." Dante KirisakiThe door's green light would turn blue as a loud metallic click would go off. The door would open into another room. This room was bright and there were no shadows here. Two doors ahead one blue the other red. "Chose red and shadow will return. Chose blue and you will not need shadow. However with all that is gained, something is lost. Blue represents understanding and calm, red represents perception and action. Chose one and simply walk through."

"Up and down." One shadow up, and one shadow down. Jude nodded his head in satisfaction after the door to the next room unlocked with another blue light and thunk sound. Jude would gesture to Felix with his hand and say, "On we go." What trial would await them next? Jude gathered his resolve and focus in anticipation.
Upon entering the next room, Jude would see a small, lavender-haired boy tied to some X-shaped device. Was this another actual student from the gym, or just a projection of Jude's mind? There was also an unknown young man who simply grinned. This man was wearing some type of strange clothing that Jude didn't recognize. The mysterious voice that had been giving hints only said, "Save your friend." Things had taken a real turn for the worse. Suddenly, there were 3 more people involved than there were at the beginning of this mess.
Jude decided that he'd have to treat everything as if it were reality. Logically, none of these 3 boys were Jude's friend for sure...but Felix was the closest. Nobody needed saving though, at least not yet. After a brief moment of calculating the options, Jude would tell Felix with a straight face, "Hey Felix. Drop back to the other room. I got this." There was a slight chance that Felix would actually listen. Afterwards, Jude would address the strange man and ask him while gesturing to the smaller boy, "Who are you, and what's up with him?" Jude would add silently in his head, And for crying out loud, would you wipe that cheesy grin off of your face?

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Finally, at long last, he was able to solve the puzzle. Now, here comes a new one. As Al peeked through the open door, he would see the three doors inside the empty room. He bought along the candle with him just in case. He then took a look back and saw a mirror. The doors were labeled with each of the following; Rage, Serenity, and Power. Al would check his reflection first, making sure the man didn't do anything funny to him, like drew a clue on his face maybe. Then, he would attempt to open all three doors, though if they open, he wouldn't enter them and would only peek on each one of them.
