Mizu stepped down each step slowly, while scanning the room. "This school is fucking shit. The only good thing I can say about it is that Ty is here. That's it. For fuck sake." He was in a pretty shitty mood, he woke up on the wrong side of the bed figuratively and literally. When he reached the bottom of the stairs he walked over to his locker and stared at it before sighing "I wish it would rain. Rain is a good sign. If it rains, I know everything will get better." Mizu took a quick look around before opening his locker and pulling some food out. "You can't let your emotions get the best of you, Mizu. You're better than that, though Ty can make you act weird, don't let this school do it as well." Mizu actually began to question why he was saying this all out loud, wondering if anyone heard the conversation he was having with himself.
The thing was, he definitely felt a presence, a weird one. The vibe it gave him, was of one similar to his. He was curious but at the same time felt threatened by this presence. "Hmm, who is it? Are they strong? Do I have to worry about them? God, why now." He thought to himself. He calmed his breathing and his mind and began listening around to people's conversations as they walked by. It was no one there. In fact, whoever it was, wasn't even moving at all. "That's strange, they seem to be focused in one location. That's..." Usually someone's vibe that Mizu felt, would change every ten seconds, expressing a new emotion. But that strange black haired guy he met was the exact same as this. Was this him? No, it couldn't be. He didn't feel the monster inside this person as much as he did inside of that black haired demon. This person was extremely different and possibly more dangerous. "Those that can hide such a demon within, without me even knowing, is incredible. Unless this person truly is just lacking emotions..." He looked around a bit more, staring intensely at each person that walked by "They don't seem to notice me at least, which is good. I can pick them out before they notice me" Mizu took one last check around the room... "Gotcha!" He figured out that they were near him. Very close in fact. Mizu took to his feet and said a rather obnoxious line of words "Aren't humans just pathetic? They are all weak and frail. No one could beat a god like me. Especially not a girl." He wasn't sure if it was a boy or girl, but if he took into consideration, the people in this school, then most boys would jump in at the challenge and most girls would be offended by his statement. It was the perfect way to lure someone out. Of course, it might not work though.

Lockers. Yes, yes indeed. It was one of Ruby's favorite places to head over to during the school hour. The poor dolt didn't know why school was important, or that ditching classes wasn't a good thing, but if there was one thing she did understand, it was that she liked lockers. Ah, yes. The little metallic boxes that people stored their things in, or received letters in. She had only recently discovered that there was a library at this school, and that a locker actually had use for more things that merely obtaining letters. The girl, engrossed in a book, absent-mindedly placed a piece of paper into her locker and closed it. This book that she'd obtained seemed to have some very interesting facts and information in it. Being feminine was something Ruby felt she lacked, and this book of princesses and dragons greatly interested her. She was against being a damsel in distress, but she was learning to be a bit more polite, and that dresses were a thing. Still, she knew it'd be hard to be girly like the princesses in the book, but she was still interested. She stopped her reading when she felt an odd presence in the area. The girl would turn her head and look to see someone who was the spitting image of Musashi, and for a second her heart skipped a beat, but she quickly knocked it off when she realized he was, in fact, not her dearly beloved. His aura was dark, quite dark, and she didn't know what to think of it. She stood there, people passing her by, but her violet eye remained locked on the figure from across the way. He was tall, handsome, but very dark. His aura was off the charts, like a dark storm that was charging with electricity. Not that she knew what electricity was, but she could very well sense it about him. He seemed to be brooding, and yet, there was something about him oddly familiar and compelling. Ruby knew nothing about this young man, but she found many people in the school to be interesting. A part of her was curious of him, why he had the darkness that she could sense, and what made him so. The hood to her cloak was up, obscuring the upper half of her face, but under the shadows, she studied him. An interesting character indeed. Did she dare confront him? Perhaps this would be her first normal encounter with another person that didn't have anything particularly memorable to it. Yet, at the same time, she desired not to confront him and strike a conversation. She wasn't scared, but there was something about him that... warded her off. Perhaps it was the difference of light and dark, but she remained ignorant to anything. Realizing she'd been staring, the girl would slowly return her gaze to her book, getting back to the light tale, when the guy from across the way stated something that hit a nerve. No, there was no way she was going to stand by with someone saying something like that. "Humans are not pathetic," she would state, her eyes still on the book. Her expression was calm, and her voice as smooth as silk, though it hinted a sense of danger to it, as though there was a dagger hidden in her tone. "And you certainly are not a god."

Mizu looked at the girl "Oh, I know that. I simply used a sentence that would lure anyone out of a hiding place. You simply fell for the oldest trick in the book" He then walked over to her, inspecting her "Yes, you're just like that black haired demon. Quite scary if you ask me. For a small girl, you're definitely not one to mess with." Mizu put his hand out for her to shake it, if she wished. "Today, I am not your enemy. I am simply one who ponders. Though, if enemies is the way you want it, that is the road you may take" Mizu's words were slow and wise, for he didn't mean to annoy the girl further or to make her angry. He just simply lured her out and was now questioning her a little. "Well, I assume you've been here for awhile? Or are you like me? Well, no matter. What's the name? I assume you have a calm name? I mean, those that have monsters dwelling inside, tend to have an exterior of a calm breeze" Mizu took one last glance at her.
"Wait..."
"That's Ty's vibe. Why do I sense Ty's vibe on this girl. That's very intriguing, since he comes to this school they must've met. Are they good friends? I am curious now." He looked at the girl, his eyes turned red. His eyes turned red only in special occasions. If the girl could also sense what was inside him, all she'd sense is a storm that just become five times worse. Mizu was getting riled up inside, but on the outside he kept a calm posture and attitude. "You're an interesting girl. Yes. Very interesting indeed. May I talk to you for a minute? If you would... Indulge."

Ruby narrowed her gaze, giving somewhat of a glare to the boy, though he couldn't see her eyes. She was half tempted to ask what book of tricks it was that he was referencing to, but a part of her felt it was an English phrase she wasn't supposed to understand. "Black-haired demon?" Ruby questioned, not moving her place, her intense gaze still on him. A smile played on her lips. It had been quite a while since someone referred to her as something demonic. Typically it was considered an insult, but at this precise time, it felt almost like a compliment. At least she knew now that she hadn't suddenly changed--most people were just ignorant to her demonic vibe. Usually it wasn't noticeable, and she was quite happy and outgoing, so most wouldn't assume she had that side to her. Scary? Not one to mess with? She was half flattered at the difference of speculations that he had in comparison to most people here. "I don't wish to make you an enemy," she'd say. "And I suppose I'm new enough." Still, his words struck a heart string, and she wasn't used to it. Was he like her, in that he could sense things about people? It wasn't a gift or a magical power, but a sensitive sort of spirit that one could develop under circumstances. A skill, if you will. But it was unnerving. They'd only just met and he was able to tell there was a lot more to her than meets the eye--even going so far as to say there was a monster inside. A part of her wondered if that was true. She knew that inside of her was a pure light, but all the while, she couldn't deny that there was a lingering darkness within her still. It was not her core, but it was certainly something she fought with, trying to get rid of. Still, she thought it odd that she couldn't hide it from him. It made her want to put up her guard to it's highest level of defense. "My name's Ruby," she'd curtly reply. "The blood-red stone that is hard to break." Typically she gave her name in a different sort of way, something that was more upbeat, shy, or concealing. But a part of her felt like there was no hiding anything, and it bothered her, so she decided to respond in a darker sort of way. What was it about him that made her feel that way? The girl would lightly shake the man's hand, returning the question and asking, "What about you? And what do you wish to talk about? I think it's only fair to warn you that you're giving an odd vibe, and I might not respond in the most pleasant of ways." No, it wasn't a threat, but still, there was something about him that was bringing out a whole different side to her... a side she'd struggled with and was trying to destroy.

"Ruby? That's a nice name. I was right. It is a calm name." His blood-coloured eyes took gaze upon her "An odd vibe? Ahh, you must be referring to what I keep deep within me. Well, you must understand. A man that has killed another, cannot have an angel living within them. Nor can any mortal man." Mizu pulled a bench over and asked her to sit before leaning against the wall opposite of the bench. "Now, would you care to explain why you have that second demon hiding away within you? It's that on par with a good friend of mine and I'm curious as to how you have it." He then thought about what he was saying "I apologise if I sound strange. I've simply learned to read emotions and vibes very well, even if the emotion is faint, I can notice it. But don't worry. I can't read minds, you're safe on that side." Mizu wasn't one to talk a lot to people, that was scaring him a little. Maybe she truly had part of the demon Ty had inside of her. If so, he couldn't simply disrespect her. "If she was a friend of Ty's she would have to be treated well because though Ty can be a stone cold bastard, he actually cares deep down. Yeah. Stone cold bastard is one way of putting it. Cocky shite is another." Mizu let out a chuckle "Well, anyway. The name is Mizu. Mizu Reinzu. My name actually holds false meaning and means nothing. It's simple "Rain" and "Rains" so nothing special. I actually gave myself that name. It's because of my eyes, you see." His eyes switched back to a purple shade "Purple is rain and Red is sun. Rain is a sign of giving while Sun is a sign of taking. The rain brings me tranquillity and peace. The sun brings me heat and work."
Mizu looked at the sky from a window "3... is the number of rain droplets that hit the ground every second." He paused. He wasn't being serious. He was just being weird. "2... is the number of minutes that it took you to reveal your name." he paused again. "1... is the number of times I've met you." upon finishing his sentence, the sky opened up and little rain droplets began falling from the sky. "Now, I have a very good question for you. What's creepier. The fact that I read what's inside of you. Or the fact I just counted down until it started raining." he said, turning back to her with red stained eyes. "I'll let you decide..."

Violet eyes that changed red? Being able to sense auras? Unnerving didn't quite describe it. It was far worse than just unsettling. Ruby's entire spirit was riled up from everything he was saying, and she would cautiously take a seat, closing her book and resting it on her lap. This was crazy, to say the least. It bothered her so much with how much they seemed to have in common. Of course, she hadn't killed anyone before, though it seemed he had, but she would be lying if she said she'd never almost done it. She'd hurt people before, that was true. Kill? She tried to not resort to that action, and hadn't yet. The girl would likely never let herself fall so low as to take someone else's life, and though she was trying to exterminate her old ways, she remembered vividly of the times she'd sparred with people in the past. All of the blood she'd shed--her own and that of others. It surely had been a dark time, and she'd nearly forgot about it upon entering the school, but he was starting to remind her of what she truly was... No. No, that was a lie. It wasn't true. Ruby lightly tugged at the hood of her cloak, uneasily inching it down more. Musashi had helped clear her conscious on that. Yes, she had a bad past. Yes, she was considered a demon, and yes, yes, she had once seared her emotions and became the heartless being that people accused her of. But all the while, even back then, she knew, deep down inside, that she was not that evil thing that they said. Her brother always helped remind her of that fact. And she knew now more than ever that it was not true. The girl was even reminded of her friend Yukine, who had helped remind her that there was nothing wrong with showing your emotions, and those that put on an act of a cold front were not desired, especially among friends. "Neither," she would state with a cool voice. "You counting down to the rain was coincidence. Besides, there's ways to tell when it's going to rain, I don't believe you have any supernatural powers of that sort," she would bluntly say. "And secondly, you didn't sense what was inside of me. Because you're wrong. Despite any sins one has committed, they may turn around and be renewed, the darkness and the demons inside them having to flee. Of course, there's still demons and darkness about a person, but never again will it be their center." He seemed to have the same story but was a few chapters behind. Red and violet eyes, that he named himself after? Not at all like Ruby was named after her unnatural eyes, as well. Having a certain darkness about you? Reading auras? It was uncanny. "I don't know what you mean by having a second demon," she said. The girl would hold up three fingers. "Three. That's the number of minutes you've had my attention," she'd say, putting down a finger as she counted down. "Two. That's the number of opponents that it takes to start a war. And one. My question for you." Her eye would flash, and even under the shadows the glint of her one eye was visible. "Just who the hell are you?" She'd mutter. It wasn't in her to curse, usually, but he had caught her attention and pulled her under a spell, binding her with immediate and intense interest. "You're unnerving. I've never met someone like you in all the days I've been alive. Are you hiding something?"

Mizu looked at her "You wanna see a coincidence? I'll give you one." He clicked his fingers and almost immediately, the rain stopped and his eyes turned purple again "But... I guess that's just coincidence" he then listened to what she said. "Hmm... Interesting." and when she asked who he was he let out a sigh "I'm simply one that learned to observe and take in what's around me. Sure you may not think you have demons lurking within you, but you really do. Oh and... I don't know how. But you're controlling them. It's like you have an unnatural being within you, helping hold them back, creepy almost. It's not normal, but then again. You never seemed normal. I am very curious about what is inside you, Ruby. A demon in someone is common. But two? that's preposterous, especially the fact that you're holding both of them back." his eyes turned red once more as he looked back at her with calm eyes "So... Ty... was it you? Or is it your brother? I sense him in her. Which one is it?" he mumbled to himself. She probably heard him but that was of no concern to him at this time.
He looked back at her once more and looked deep within her vibe "You're a strange girl, Ruby. A very strange one indeed. This school is full of demons. It's like finding you was the key... That's perfect. Maybe this is where I belong... Just maybe. I hope so, I've always wanted a place to fit in." Mizu was slightly letting his emotions show, and this was obvious because his eyes started going all weird and one ended up Red and one ended up purple. "Oh, I apologise for that" The storm within him settled and dropped to a calm breeze in which he was at true serenity with. "So... I don't know how this whole friends thing works. But you can be my second one. If you would like to indulge in the offer. The path is yours to take. I am simple opening the doors to a friendly route" He said with a genuine smile. He let his vibe become calm as to stop freaking her out so much, and then he put his hand out once more. "Oh and by the way, I'm new here."

Two demons? Holding them back? Preposterous? What was he talking about?? Ruby shook her head, saying, "I don't know what you're talking about! Neither Ty nor Musashi are in me in any sort of way!" She shook her head again. "I'm not controlling anything and I'm not really holding anything back, either. You're so wrong on so many levels. I'm not special, I'm not a 'key' of some sort, I don't possess demons within me, and certainly don't have two!" The girl didn't know what to do or say. His eyes turned different colors: one red, one violet. That was enough. He was messing with her now. Acting as though she had some sort of demon--or even two--inside of her. Sure she'd been used to being accused of being a demon before in the past, but the way he was was so unnerving on so many levels. It was like she was looking at a replica of herself, but he was darker and giving her vibes she didn't know how to cope with. Never in her life had she met someone so much like herself. But he was getting on her nerves. Not that she was particularly upset with him, but what he was doing and saying was bothering her, to say the least. She didn't feel like she needed any friends (she had so many right now) and though he was hitting so many nerves, she didn't hate him and she didn't want to make an enemy out of him. The similarities they had bothered her on a spiritual level, and she'd never been so riled up since entering the school. Even when she was being passionate and flooding with overwhelming feelings--good and bad--over the past years, she hadn't had this sort of boiling feeling inside of her since childhood. It was a feeling she didn't like, though she knew it too well. She didn't want to make an enemy out of him, and though he was upsetting, she was drawn to him and had a hard time pulling herself away. He was too utterly intriguing for her to simply up and leave. "Trust me, 'new kid'," Ruby would say with a dark voice. "So long as I'm around, you'll fit in just fine." She didn't care about the "coincidences" he'd preformed, or the fact he was likely a criminal and was likely to fit in with the other students anyway. But she herself was a misfit and though she'd found a place to belong through the Titans, she knew she was still far too different from any of them. But so long as she was around? Yeah, this guy was likely to have someone around he had something in common with. After all, even with one usable eye she could tell they were far too similar for it to go by unnoticed. She wasn't sure if she wanted to become his ally yet, but he certainly wasn't going to have a hard time fitting in. With her around, anyway.

Mizu sighed heavily and then placed his hand on her head "I don't want to explain this. But I'm going to have to." He let out a loud sigh once more "So, every human is born with a demon and an angel. One darkness and One light. They both stay with you forever, but throughout your life, you can control which one has more influence about you. You, however have two "Darknesses" if you will, within you. It's not a bad thing. IF you can control it. Which you seem to be doing just fine. It's just that, with these two demons. You have one within you and one... around you. The one around you, isn't... yours though. I get a strong sense of Ty and his brother. It's creepy. I mean, Ty's my best friend but even I haven't sense this in myself... but maybe it's because of his brother as well? No... It couldn't be. I mean. If you know one, you practically know the other...but..." He let out another sigh "I don't really understand you, Ruby. you're a very strange girl. You don't even seem to notice what's within your own spiritual mind and yet... you're holding it back. It's truly incredible. I'm amazed."
"Huh, she is a weird one... Isn't she? I like her. Will you be taking her as well, Sir Mizu." said a voice within Mizu's head
Clenched his head in pain and twitched backwards towards the wall, his eyes turning completely Red "Get. Out. Of. My. Head!" The problem with Mizu's demon was... He was encased within such darkness, that it took form and trapped itself inside his mind, causing his demon to become alive and conscious. "Ruby, those that commit unforgivable sins are punished. Even if it's not by the gods themselves..." Mizu looked up at her. "Now, again. I apologise for everything that has happened. This is probably a very creepy way to meet someone. But I can't help but be curious. You're an interesting case."

"That's not true..." Ruby muttered, her left hand clenched into a fist. "It's not! Demons and angels are not who we are! Demons influence us, while Angels defend us! It is our choice on how much power we give to our angels to defend us, not on which influence inside of us we chose!" She would close her eyes, taking a deep breath before exhaling. She needed to calm down. "I am very close to Musashi, and I know Ty well enough. But really, whatever it is you're sensing, it's off. There shouldn't be any sort of sense of them around me, and I certainly don't have any demons inside of me, whether you like it or not." Ruby would lightly shake her head. however, her speech would stop when Mizu suddenly fell to his knees, gripping his head and yelling at something in his own subconscious. She stared, knowing not what to do, but also feeling that whatever was going on with him was something he had to sort out himself and she couldn't do anything to assist him... The boy before her calmed down, before acting as though nothing had happened. She shrugged off what he'd said and offered him a hand up. "Honestly, it's not that bad. I've met people in weirder ways before," she'd say.

Mizu gazed at Ruby "Oh, so you know that cocky red haired bastard Ty? That's good to know" Mizu let out a grin "Me and him go waaaaaaay back. I can't even be bothered trying to remember how long we've know each other." he started to have flashbacks of him and Ty way back in tokyo, the "fun" times he had killing and nearly being killed by gang members that were all crazy. "Welp, that's one way to fuck yourself over" he looked back at Ruby. "I need to go for now, But I'll hit you up later. You're a strange one. I am definitely interested" he waved at her and trudged away in his heavy looking clothes and as he exited the door, it started raining again. Definitely a coincidence
