A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Skipping class, were do you go...to the library duh! I nodded to the librarian, who doesn't even look up and flips me off. "Good morning to you too," I sarcastically mumble before disappearing into sci-fi section. Hmmm... hot alien dude novel or hot demon dude novel, oh the choices! I wander off after placing those novels back, when I noticed a small shadow on the other side of the shelf. I peek around to see a kid sitting against a shelf holding a big-ass book in his lap. "Hey shortie, whatcha doin' down there?" I ask sitting down beside him. "You don't look like the type to skip class."

Bullying was a thing. Yeah, indeed it was. And though Kyou didn't particularly care about being pushed around and belittled by other students, he was starting to grow tired of it. His words fell on deaf ears and he continued to get beaten up because of it. Not to mention there didn't seem to be any nice teachers around, either. He wouldn't be surprised if his next teacher wanted to tie him up and throw him into a pool, letting him drown.
Perhaps he was overreacting, but at the same time, he more or less felt like he wasn't. After all, everyone in the entire school seemed to hate his guts, so to speak. Steven was pretty nice, and there were a few good heroic type people here and there, but still, Kyou was practically friendless. The majority of his friends had vanished and no longer talked to him--or even gave a glance his way in the halls anymore. He didn't let it get to him though. He was used to having a lack of companionship, and though he valued his relationship with Steven, he felt he was better off without friends anyway. What did he need them for, anyway? To help him out when people picked on him and decided to beat him up just because he was short and weak? Who cared about that?
Kyou was perfectly fine with it.
Sure, being beaten up wasn't fun, but it wasn't that bad, either. It's not like they were trying to kill him--and when the occasion came that it was their intentions to do so, he would then chose to defend himself and fight back... though his fighting skills were less than pathetic. It was like an irrational number in the negatives, if that means anything to you.
The boy would lightly rub his cheek where a nice new bruise was developing, and he'd flip the page in an encyclopedia he'd found interest in. Nothing too new or exciting, really. He'd already polished off most of the other educational books in the school's library. The poor nerd had already finished reading all of the text books for the seniors--and even a few college-leveled books as well. He was starting to run out of things to read, so he was tempted to go back to reading his favorite book of all: King Aurther.
Don't judge him.
He would be minding his own business (for once) when he heard someone else approaching him, and curiosity caught him once again... as it always seemed to. There wasn't a day that he wasn't curious, really. "Ditching? The school curriculum here is below my actual intelligence--for the most part. I don't try to be a 'bad' student by ditching, but I had things I wanted to read, and things of that nature..." he would shrug and go back to reading the book, adjusting his glasses. "Besides, I don't need to attend a sexual education class. That sort of knowledge is really useless to a guy like me, anyway... besides, I'd rather not get tied up and tossed out of a window again, thank you."
He would scan over the page, reading it quicker than most would, before something spiked his interest. He would look up at the girl, blinking in shock. "No way... there's no way I could be miscalculating, could there?" He muttered, before closing the book, standing to his feet, and looking at the woman before him. He looked away awkwardly, his face bright red from embarrassment. "No way... how tall are you? You've got to be over six feet!" He'd scratch the back of his head awkwardly, before mumbling, "I haven't seen someone so tall since I tried fighting Aegis..."

This kid was able to calculate my height that fast? Damn he's smart. I eye him up and down, noting the bruise forming on his left cheek. He probably is being bullied for his short height and intelligence. Wait...they put a kid this young into a sex ed class?!?!? That is wrong. "Eh, sex ed is a useless class, especially if you are being thr-" I stop and stare at him. "Who the fuck threw you out the damn window?" I growl pissed someone could be so cruel to someone else. I forced myself to calm down and not scare off the kid, as he seemed pretty alright. It wouldn't hurt to try and be nice to someone for a change, especially someone that already has enough hardship. "If you still want to know, I'm six foot six, and the names Rei," I state smiling holding out my hand.

Kyou looked at the girl as she responded to what he said, and he couldn't help but to laugh. "The teacher," he answered with a grin. "I was running my mouth and it really annoyed her, or so it would seem. I was fine, though. I've had worse things happen before," he said. He couldn't help but to smile. It wasn't too often that he met someone who was genuinely kind. Sure, she had a mouth about her, but hey, he couldn't be a hypocrite, and he didn't genuinely care if she cursed or not. "Though to be honest, everyone else in the class seemed to be fine with it as well..." he would shrug. "Guess that's just what happens when you're annoying as hell, right?"
He shrugged it off. It didn't bother him too much... though he was still ashamed that there were so many people who didn't know his name and preferred to refer to him as "the boy who was thrown out of the window". It was annoying to him, and he was quite embarrassed that it was the only thing people remembered him by. Not that he stood up for his beliefs and justice and equality, but that he was annoying and got thrown out of a window.
Still, he tried not to let it bother him.
Kyou would give a warm smile and shake the girl's hand, saying, "Rei? Is that Japanese? You hardly look it." He figured there might have been another origin to the name, or perhaps she was given a Japanese name, despite not being Japanese. She didn't have an accent, and her features hardly looked Asian... still, he knew not to jump to that conclusion. "My name is Kyou Kobayashi. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Well Kyou, it's Japanese good guess," I smirk patting him on the head after ending the handshake. "And just sayin that teacher is a straight up bitch if she thought you were irritating and your classmates sound like a bunch of douches to me," I state trying to comfort the kid from thinking he was a waste of space. No one deserves to feel that way about themselves, especially a sweet little boy with a touch of sass to boot. He reminds me so much of De-no don't think about that! I force that thought to the back of my mind. I have to forget my old life, as I'll probably never get it back. Trying not to cry, I pull Kyou into a hug. "Don't fucking dare ever change anything about yourself, you are perfect just the way you are honey," I whisper as I hold him tightly in my lap.

"Hm..." Kyou thought, before shaking his head. "Really, it was all fine. I wouldn't call the teacher that--even though I did think she was out of line. And there's nothing wrong with the students," he said. "Not all of them are that bad..." He thought back to Zoe, who had given him "advice" after he'd been thrown out of the window... she had been nicer than the others then--after all, she'd untied him. But then he was quickly reminded of how he'd pissed her off from talking too much, and she'd hit him with a saxophone and then sat on him...
He blushed slightly at the thought, thinking back to how embarrassing it had been. Sure, the students here weren't the nicest in the world, but he certainly didn't mind. After all, they treated him just like they'd treat anyone else. He wasn't being treated worse for no reasons, everything had its own reasons for it. At least, that's what he believed. "They're not bad people," he said. "In fact, they're all people, and just that indeed. People shouldn't be thought of badly or treated badly just because they make bad choices sometimes... everyone messes up or does things that aren't so nice--even I have before. I wouldn't use that word as an adjective for them," Kyou clarified, blushing slightly at the implied "adjective" she'd used. "They're all human, and I think they should be treated as such, right? Unkind words hardly seem fit for them."
However, the boy would be taken by surprise when the girl then pulled him into a hug, holding him close and whispering some encouraging words. His face grew bright red from the embrace--never having been hugged by a girl other than his mother--and much less with one with--okay. Let's stop there.
"U-uh, no worries," he'd say awkwardly. "I'm hardly the type to change, really. Thanks..." There was no hiding how red his face was. Even if she hadn't been busty, it would have been extremely embarrassing for him to have been hugged by anyone--much less a girl. "C-could you please let go of me? I'm not used to physical contact."

"Oh, sorry Kyou," I laugh releasing him from my lap. He was blushing as red as a tomato, but I feel like if I point that out it would only make the kid even more embarrassed and quickly banished the thought. "That stuff about people doing bad things but aren't bad people was very well said, Kyou," I complement him with a smile once again patting him on the head, noticing how soft his hair is. "If you want, I can leave you to your reading," I offer leaning onto the palms of my hands getting ready to stand up and wonder off somewhere else in the library.

Kyou would smile and shake his head. "No problem," he said after she let go of him. The boy would take a seat on the floor across from her, keeping distance but still close enough to keep a good conversation. He would shake his head and say, "Oh, it's fine. Really, this book isn't a priority. I'm actually more interested in you." The boy would give a small laugh and say, "It's not every day I meet someone who doesn't want to beat me up."
However, he didn't want to focus on that fact, so he'd quickly change the subject. "Anyway... what brings you to the library? Are you interested in reading, or did you just chose this place to ditch? Not too many people like to read, really. Here, they much prefer to fight." The boy would grin and say, "Hence it being a school for some of the most notorious delinquents from all over the U.S.A. as well as from other nations."

I slowly lean back against the bookshelf, unsure of myself. Kyou sat down across the isle from me and reassured me that he preferred my company. This kid is so freaking sweet I'm going to get a cavity. "I came to library to both skip class and find something interesting to read, as reading is my favorite thing to do, which kills two birds with one stone I guess," I answer shrugging my shoulders. "So what book were you reading before I interrupted you, sorry by the way. I enjoy fictional books, but I'm guessing you would enjoy nonfiction as to the fact you are a very smart person. I too like nonfiction, but only when it's written like fiction as it gves me more of a story to follow than just straight facts. The only problem with that is that some authors have trouble putting only the facts that are needed to know and useless information like in the novel Into Thin Air, which I found a terrible book by the way....and I'm ranting aren't I, sorry" I chuckle giving a small smile as apologizing.

"It's fine," Kyou said with a laugh. "Honestly, I rant all the time. Yours wasn't that bad, and what you're saying is interesting enough." The boy would think about it before saying, "I probably prefer non-fiction, true... I was reading an encyclopedia before you came in, and I really have a hard time reading fictional tales... my lack of imagination makes it near impossible to do so."
The bout would lightly tap his chin with one finger before saying, "Although, call me weird, there is a book or two that I enjoy that isn't factual. Like the fables of King Arthur. Sure, it's historical and still has a lot of historical facts to it, but it's still also classified as a myth and despite that... I don't know, it's absolutely fascinating to me. Even with photographic memory, I adore reading it time and time again..." He would give a small laugh, thinking about how odd he probably sounded. Of course, unlike Rei, he also enjoyed books that were entirely filled with hardcore facts and had no sense of personality to them, which would have been considered boring to her...
But hey. He was just reading an encyclopedia for fun. It should have been obvious at this point that he loved reading non-fictional books, regardless of how boring or factual they might have been.

"I like mythical books too. King Arthur's tale is very interesting, as it has so many versions added one on top of another all forged from one story," I remark, getting tired of sitting and laying down using my arm as a prop. "There are all types of books, but they all have one thing in common," I shrug, "they all have a person willing to read and enjoy them for all different personalities." Pushing stray hair over my shoulder, I look over at Kyou with a smile. "Books also brought us together in a weird roundabout way I believe."
