A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.
|
|
A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

[[OoC: Only join this event if you plan to join the Apostles. Anyone who causes a disruption will be removed via Regulators/Regulator Captains. Anyone not joining Apostles by the end of the thread will not be rewarded.]]
Each student walking in would be given a flier that read:
“Hello Ladies and Gentleman. Thank you all for coming.”
The silver haired man stood in the front of the auditorium. At each door, and along each wall, there were Regulator guards. He felt much more at home in the official meeting location compared to the makeshift stand that Arose had devised for the First Day of the Semester Assembly. He would look through the crowd, putting names to the faces from the student files that he had gone through the trouble of memorizing. He knew every piece of information in every student’s records. The man was also well versed in 552’s history. The parts he had a hand in, and the others as well.
“I would like to welcome you all to join the opportunity to become something more than just yourselves. I would like to invite you all to become Apostles of 552. To be Leaders and guide 552 and the other students into the future. As an Apostle you will be expected stop conflicts between students, provide an example for the other students to look to, and exceed excellence. Something that I know for a fact that all of you are more than capable of handling.”
He’d smile and give a moment for that to sink into the students.
“Of course. You will be granted certain privileges that other students will not retain. Such as this badge. It allows you access to all of the different areas of the school. The badge itself also acts as a form of identification. Should you be needed to perform your duties, you may leave class by simply showing your badge and with impunity you shall be allowed to leave in order to tend to your duties. Of course as leaders of the student body, you will be given special permissions in detaining students and enforcing rules in the same manner that Regulators handle. Now... Who is interested?"

Post by Areon Fury on Sept 18, 2015 12:20:39 GMT -5
Areon adjusted his goggles as he entered the meeting space reading over the flier. Seemed straight forward enough. Running a hand through his hair as he took a seat draping his jacket over the back of his chair, showing the dark purple tank top. Listening to the new Headmaster talk about this group sounded like some sort of glorified and slightly more controlled Pillar system, though possibly many more than just four people.
~Upsetting a balance that is barely maintained in the first place.~
Areon wondered if this would really work, the school was turning into a prison with regulators, Pillars, and now this new Apostles group. Maybe the plan was for it to come down to some large brawl between the factions of authority to abolish the others. This seemed rather bold, but Areon had no problem with any of this so far.
Areon would nod along and simply wait for there to be something to do. Raising a hand to nonchalantly volunteer.

Post by Zoe on Sept 18, 2015 12:27:59 GMT -5
Zoe didn't trust this man at all. As she sat in the front row of the auditorium, the girl cross her arms silently. When the headmaster began to speak, she listened silently. He was complimenting them. Her eyes never left his face as he spoke. The girl was trying to read and figure out the man. She paid attention to little details of how he handled himself and the minor mannerisms he carried.
Glancing to the paper in her hand, Zoe knew instantly something was fishy with Faith. The way it was worded... the flier was practically screaming warning signs to the girl. Zoe knew she had to join it somehow to keep an eye on things. She also knew that in her files, Zoe had been involved in one incident at the school. The incident in which Mikey attacked the school's cafeteria. Other than that, nothing else should have been on her student file unless 552 was spying on her during her time off campus. Her grades were also straight perfect scores. Hopefully, this would help paint her as a student of merit.
Her hand would go up into the air as he asked who was interested. ”I, Zamora Zamorano, am interested,” she spoke softly. Yes, she was using her real name as that was the name on the student papers.

Post by Xaier McCaine on Sept 18, 2015 12:47:40 GMT -5
Xaier had heard a lot of commotion about an assembly that had taken place recently, the young silver boy had fallen asleep in the locker room and missed it. But it seemed the new headmaster had introduced himself and had plans to help change the school for the better. Some didn't trust him off the bat, whilw others figured he deserved a chance. Xaier was one of those.
His leg was feeling better, but the cast wasn' off yet. He had about a week left before he could have it removed. He couldn't wait. And he wasn't going to allow it to prevent him from checking out new opportunities. Having heard about recruitment for the Apostles, Xaier had decided to check it out.
The emerald eyed teen had listened intently when the head master had spoken and shortly after it didn't take long for other students to volunteer. Xaier himself was quick to raise his hand.
"Xaier McCaine! I won't let you down!"
It was a good chance to help make changes for the better. To ensure that each student got the treatment and protection they deserved. Xaier also hoped to be someone others could look up to in time. This school was doomed if changes weren't made.

Alioth walked nervously inside the auditorium, holding a piece of paper she had received just a few seconds ago. She looked around to see a decent amount of people in the room with her, and a silver haired man in front.
Looking around nervously to see what was going on, as there were so many regulators and figures of authority around the walls and probably hanging from the ceiling. The offer that the student in the front said really spoke to her. Putting her hand up shakily, she raised
"I, Alioth Algol...um....am interested....I think" she stammered timidly

i can't save me from myself The Apostles, huh?
Valo stared down at the paper before him, reading every word carefully. That, combined with Girard's words, had piqued his interest. This sounded a lot like some sort of small private army, pitched in a pretty way to try and make the students feel protected. Whether his bad feeling was warranted or not, he'd discover in the end. For now, he sat next to Zoe, raising his hand at the first opportunity he got.
"Adrian Yuy." He used his current legal name. "I'd like to get involved."
While he had been an open fighter, it was usually for the good of the school. It wasn't widespread that he was the Wraith, and no one here minus Zoe knew he was the head of a group such as Hyperion. He needed to learn more about Girard for himself, and it didn't hurt to have two sets of eyes on the prize. ulla

Leon would burst into the auditorium late and missing the flier and the speech.
"I, Leon Sudeki, Leader of the Lightning Gang, volunteer to aid this school!"
He would promptly be dragged from the room by the present regulators.

Tsubaki came to the auditorium as instructed by the flier. This is very exciting indeed, she knew she had no chance of becoming a pillar in the past, so this more sophisticated group sounded right up her alley. She came in and heard the opening speech of the headmaster. And when asked if there were any volunteer's she happily raised her hand. Hoping to be one of the few that get awarded with an honor as great as that of a Apostle. "I, tsubaki Mitsuzoe would be honored to help this school."
She wondered if he might have already known who he would and would not pick. This seemed to be a very likely possibility.

Allen too would burst through a door- opposite the one Leon burst through. His shirt was untucked and his school jacket was half on. He missed both the flier and the speech.
"I, Allen Hollows, Captain of the Lightning Gang, Volunteer to aid this school!"
Allen too was promptly drug from the room by the Regulators.

Paige would smirk a little bit as she listen to the people wanting to join this new group. She for one did not like the head master all that much but she did like the school and wanted to help it in anyway possible "Eh I Paige weaver will join." Paige would say in a lax grin as she looked around for a moment.

Nikko took the flyer then sat down. As he read over the description of what the apostles do, he was munching on a bag of marshmallows. Soon swallowing the marshmallows he thought to himself that having a pretty badge might be cool and maybe he could turn this into some sort of game. He wasn't that strong or anything, but this might be a good way for him to get involved... and maybe a reward?
He elegantly raised his hand and then answered when called on. "Nikko, Alberich. I would fancy to join." Then as he finished he popped a few more marshmallows in his mouth and nomed as he waited. ulla

Lightning Gang

Post by Jude Liang on Sept 18, 2015 17:39:05 GMT -5
Jude had walked into the auditorium amidst a fairly large crowd of other students. Apparently this Apostle business was a hot topic. The flier that everyone was given listed the Mission, Rules, and Privileges of this new administrative group. Mr. Girard was attempting to create a secret police, essentially, and everyone basically knew it. The question would be whether or not the student body would acknowledge its authority.
After Mr. Girard posed his question, students began chiming in one by one. Jude would raise his hand to signal his interest. Around this time, Leon and Allen burst into the room shouting, and were promptly removed. Jude would have facepalmed, but instead ensured that he made no physical indication of his reaction. These Lightning Gang guys were absurd.

Post by Fiona McEntire on Sept 18, 2015 20:41:54 GMT -5
Fiona was in the back row of the auditorium as soon as the proceedings began. Scanning the flier, she hung on the white-haired man's every word. 'Apostles... A family... Friends. I don't know a bloody soul. I'll do it,'she though.
She wanted to do well in this new place. Make her pa proud. Fiona bit down on her bottom lip, bouncing her knee anxiously. Was she afraid? Nervous? Fi couldn't tell, but her stomach definitely didn't like whatever feeling it was.
He had finished his speech. Quietly, amongst the others that were raising their hands and standing, she took to her feet and raised her hand. "Fiona McEntire," she managed to speak without her voice cracking too much.
She smiled to herself, looking around. 'It's time to make a new life, Fi.'

Duncan was also at this meeting of the apostle, at first when she first heard of them at the school assmbally she wasn't very interested they seemed to be like some sort of pseudo disciplinary commity that a friend used to tell her about from one of her Chinese cartoons... how was she doing anyways Duncan wondered after all to Duncan i was only a handful of years that they have been apart...but for her..
Now wasnt the time to get emotional Duncans face turned more stern
the reason she wanted to join something like this was to gain more power, after all who didnt want more. This seemed like the fastest route to her goal so she was going to go for it. Also though she would never admit it Duncan tried to get more power by getting a gang together but it didnt seem like that was going to happen anytime soon so this was the best alternative to that.
Duncan raised her hand "Karlotte Odelia Duncans reporting for duty" she Sternly said
she then started saluting like her father taught her

"Dani Ho," They raised their hand in excitement reading it over. Dani had no ties to any sort of gang. They only wanted to show that a system other than pillars could work and this was an opportunity for that, something based off of merit rather than your fighting prowess? They were all sorts of behind that, "And I submit myself to be an Apostle."
