Vivi sat on a bench in the courtyard, peering over the top of a book. Anyone who knew her well enough would know she didn’t just sit in the courtyard reading or studying. Right now she was keeping an eye on the students. A few petty fights went on here and there, but she let those slide. It was the big fights between the testosterone driven teens that she’d move to break up. It was kinda sad how people around here would jump a guy for so much as farting in the wrong direction, or giving them a funny look.
Some of the kids didn’t seem to just fight to big the big guy, or to prove something to themselves, she noted. Some of them had this malice in their eyes… kind of like Velour. That girl walked with darkness dripping off her shoulders. Vivi had seen ghosts brighter than her soul. The violet haired girl closed her book and set it down next to her when a particular group caught her eye. The fight was getting heated and it looked like they might start damaging the school property as well.
Vivi stood up, and crouching for a moment, she sprung forward and ran across the courtyard at full speed so that she was practically a blur. She barreled through the group of students and the bodies she collided with went flying in different directions. Within a few seconds several of the fighters had gone flying or were terribly confused. Vivi skidded to a halt and stood there for a moment, her eyes flat with refusal to take any shit from them.
“Buzz of, fuck-boys...” she waved one of her hands as if gesturing for them to move along, “You’ve all got something better to do, right?”
Some of them seemed angry for a moment, but most of them recognized her as one of the Pillars. Perhaps deciding it wasn’t worth it, the punks went on their way leaving the girl to stand alone. Once they were out of sight the girl’s strong posture and cold look vanished. Her eyes showed a hint of anxiety and frustration and her shoulders slumped forward a bit.
She found herself almost wanted to kick a bench over even though she had just stopped a bunch of students from vandalizing. It was the frustration of the three threats, no doubt. And then the division between gangs on how they should go about taking them out. Vivi didn’t know where to stand or how it would end, and it was really starting to weigh her down.
“Damn… this will not end well," she murmured.

Felix was just passing by as usual, and as usual there were fights everywhere. He cast a sidelong glance as he made his way across the courtyard, not intending to get into any trouble. He spied a particularly nasty fight, or at least it was getting there. Felix considered going over there, but they didn't seem worth it, probably couldn't even put up a good fight. He sighed, clearly bored; life had taken a strange twist. Suddenly his average hum drum life, had turned into an intense roller coaster, and weirdly enough, he liked it. Class held no meaning to him anymore, not that it had weighed heavy in his mind previously. But all the everyday things he did, held no interest, except track. That was the one constant, he was fast, and still considered himself the fastest sprinter in the school at the very least.
He briefly pondered when this school had changed him, and how much. Fighting used to be a guilty pleasure of his, and he would have to suppress the urge. But in a short amount of time his inhibitions had fled, in the past he would have told those guys off at the very least. Now he only looked at them as potential opponents. It wasn't a happy thought, sighing he made up his mind to go over there and well . . . give them a piece of his mind. Until a blur of purple zoomed past him, it was impossible, it had to be for someone to move that fast. He stopped in his tracks as the fight was broken up in an instant, is previously bored feeling was gone, replaced by a deep desire to- to- do something, he didn't know yet, fight, race, whatever it was he wanted to do it now!
He jogged over to the girl, the details of her body language becoming more discernible the closer he grew. She was upset about . . . something. He wasn't sure how to approach her. On one side he really wanted to challenge her to something, but on the other side he wanted to cheer her up. He chose the latter.
"Yo, what up~!" He flashed his brightest grin, "I uh, noticed you." Getting slightly embarrassed at his phrasing he backtracked. "Not that I was watching you or anything, but I uh did see, what you did. I'm glad we have people like you. That, y'know do the right thing." Felix blushed slightly, he definitely wasn't good at this, blowing a long stream of air while rubbing the back of his head, he decided to perk her up the 552 way. "I challenge you to, uh I dunno a fight? A race? Your pick!'
As he spoke the more into it Felix visibly became, his grin widening. "Though I don't expect to do much you're amazing! How did you get so fast, you could totally run for the damn Olympics! Would you teach me?" Felix was unaware of Vivi's status as Third Pillar, or what it meant to challenge one; though with his excitable attitude, it would be difficult to even take him seriously. "Please?" He flashed a crooked grin, putting his hands together, obviously begging.

Vivi’s posture straightened up when a voice reached her ears—it was a dude, he was talking to her, right? She turned her head to lock eyes with him, a look of irritation written on her face-- but that quickly faded. She couldn’t glare at such a happy looking kid, and even though her knee jerk reaction was to be a total wet blanket. Something about this guys enthusiasm made her want to respond in turn. For now, however, she just watched him with a calm demeanor, though a small tugged at the corner of her mouth.
“Noticed me, huh?” she scratched the back of her head, “Shocker. I’m easy to miss.”
Vivi wasn’t even sure whether she was joking or not. For starters she did have waist length purple hair, that was kind of eye catching, if anything. But this kid was probably referring to her little stunt.
“Well, it feels nice to be appreciated,” she let out a small chuckle, “There are some people who wouldn’t agree with the ‘doing the right thing’ part, though.”
She noted how flustered the poor kid looked. Maybe he was a bit socially awkward? But the fact that he took the initiative to come talk to her made her think he was probably an extrovert.
Vivi raised her eye brows when he challenged her to either a fight or a race, and proceeded to beg her to teach him to go as fast as she had. The girl’s lips parted and she seemed to be searching for words. Jeez-laweez, she’d never gotten a reaction like this before—a lot of students seemed to resent her upon first meeting her.
But this kid… this was the kind of kid who didn’t belong in this school. Not because she thought he was weak or anything, but because he seemed so happy and care free. When you were that kind of person, it just hurt that much more when the brutality of five-five-two suddenly dawned on you. Assuming it hadn't already. Maybe he was just really good at keeping a smile up?
“Not sure how to teach speed, but I know it takes a hell of a lot of training,” she replied, “We can work at it though. And as for a fight or a race?”
She shoved her hands in her pockets and glanced upwards as if deep in thought.
“Depends. You saw me run, if you think you could keep up we could do a sprint. But if not we could duke it out.”
She held her fists out with an exaggeratedly serious look, scrunching up her facial feature into a frown.
“But I’m feeling a little more partial to a fight, myself.”

At her mention of being, 'easy to miss' he only gave a quizzical smile. Didn't she notice? She was completely different than everyone else, and not just in terms of looks (though Felix did note she was pretty cute) in terms of atmosphere. The one she gave off was . . . oppressive to say the least; just standing near her it felt like a huge weight on his shoulders, she was strong he knew that for sure. Though how strong he guessed he would find out. He considered telling this to her, but for once managed to bite his tongue, feeling that it wasn't worth it to broach the subject. He nodded along as she spoke, listening intently. A smile broke out on his face, from her phrasing, did she mean she would teach him? He grinned, an actual teacher. So far he had gotten along on instinct alone, having no actual training. He remembered the early days, coming home with cuts and bruises broke his moms heart. So he learned how to stop getting hit- well at least he learned how to stop getting hit in the face. He cocked his head, what reason did she have for getting so fast. Maybe it just came naturally to her, he didn't question it, not yet anyway. She looked at him, a serious expression on her face, she didn't even need to talk, he was right when he approached, a good fight was what everyone needed to cheer up it seemed. Felix would begin to stretch, as he introduced himself. "Name's Felix by the way, in case you were wondering. Though you probably weren't" He would mutter the last part under his breath, while still continuing to stretch. Waiting for her to introduce herself (or not), before cracking his neck getting into an impromptu fighting stance. "Alright, like I said before I probably won't even be a warm up for you. Feel free to pound my face in- if you can that is." He would joke teasingly offering a mischievous wink. From his stance's position, he would make as if to dash forward in a feint. He would stop before bounding off his back leg, the force from it making it look as if he were leaping at her instead of charging in. Simultaneously he would cock his arm back, throwing a heavy overhead while soaring at Vivi. It looked suspiciously like the Jolt Haymaker from Super Smash 4, not that Felix played that game or anything!

“Nice to meet you, Felix,” she replied, “I’m Vivi Perish.”
Her gaze was fixed to him as he took his fighting pose. In turn, the violet haired girl squared her stance and continued to watch him, but didn’t do much else. She rarely took on fighting positions anymore, but it was more out of a habit of trying to avoid them. It was better in her mind to just to take on a stance that left her ready to defend, but not looking overly eager to fight. In cases where people were being douches and straight up fighting her without her agreement, of course. This fight was all in good fun.
The corner of her mouth quirked up in a smile in response to his remark before he charged. Vivi watched as he came forward, and leaped into the air. From there she decided it’d be safe to assume he’d go for a head shot. The girl dropped down into a quick forward roll, attempting to allow the boy to jump over her completely. Assuming he had cleared the distance and landed with his back toward her, Vivi would close the distance between them and aim a spinning snap kick for his hip. However, she took care not to put too much force into it. On a day to day basis her kicks were enough to dent metal, but in this case, if her hit connected the most it would do was send him off balance and possibly leave a bruise.

Felix would sail over Vivi as she ducked low under his attack. Landing, he would turn his momentum into a tight roll, immediately after, he would turn towards his opponent swiftly, a grin on his face. As Felix turned he was met with a surprisingly fast kick towards his hip. He didn't even know he had been hit until he realized he wasn't even standing anymore; the attack to his involuntarily dropping him onto one knee. He could tell she was holding back, if she kicked at near the speed she had ran towards those students he'd without a doubt end up with more than a few broken bones. The thought alone made him more excited. He didn't know what it was about being outclassed in every aspect that he loved so much, but he didn't care; he was just excited at the ongoing fight.
He got back up to his feet, "Cute name, doesn't really match how strong you are. Your name should be like Khee'Rah the Queen of Pain-- or something like that anyway." He shrugged speaking nonchalantly, giving no obvious signs of hostility, before pointing in the distance. "Oh man, those vandals are back!" He would say before rushing in, attacking with his right leg in a roundhouse, pivoting a full 360 degrees on his left leg before springing off it, using the momentum to perform a tornado kick. Felix didn't expect her to fall for it, only saying it because . . . well it was funny! Whether she looked or not he would attack. Vivi raised her eye brows and tilted her head slightly in a manner that said ‘Y’don’t day?’ in response to his comments on her name. She couldn’t help but chuckle a bit though. This kid seemed like fun, and he had a good attitude.
“What can I say?” she spread her hands and shrugged, “I didn’t pick it. I like your suggestion though—classy.”
The violet haired teen furrowed her brow when he suddenly yelled about the vandals coming back, and she twitched ever so slightly, tempted to turn around and look. In her life time though she’d seen this trick a lot and fell for it too many times, so this time she kept her gaze locked on him, the a smile tugged at the corner of her mouth.
She braced herself when Felix came in to strike, watching his body’s rotation when he started the tornado kick. Vivi would reach up and grip his foot with the arm closest to the foot coming toward her, while leaning her head back to avoid any collision. She’d then continue the boy’s momentum by throwing his leg in the direction he’d kicked, attempting to cause him to spin around suddenly and go off balance. Shortly after, she’d shove him hard with both hands in attempt to cause him to fall over.

This girls speed and reaction time were amazing. She was twirling Felix quite literally; as his kick came in she used the momentum of the attack against him, sending him spinning faster then he was expecting. He wobbled on one foot trying to regain his balance as she simply came up and pushed him hard onto his ass.
He looked up at her dazed, his vision still spinning. So far this wasn't even looking like a fight, just her toying with him. Felix grinned, it was perfect; this is just what he needed. "W-Wait a second." He said while chuckling. It was crazy how much fun he was having already, despite her superior-- everything she didn't go overboard, go for the K.O. and be done with it. She controlled the fight, Felix made a mental note of that, as he staggered to his feet.
His vision serviceable enough to continue. "Hey try a little harder this time, eh? You're slackin." He teased offering an impish wink, before closing in. Overwhelming her with speed wouldn't work, he had to be smart. He threw a quick left jab for her face, his hands loose. As it neared her face instead of hitting her he would stop the blow just short, opening his hand in an attempt to block her vision. Simultaneously he would shoot out his right foot to snake around her left heel, and pull it out from under her with the intention to drop her on her ass as a subtle jab to the way she had dropped him.

Vivi watched Felix go spinning before falling onto his butt, and stifled a slight chuckle. This kid was a good sport for sure, he seemed to really be enjoying himself. The violet haired girl backed up a few steps as he spoke and raised her eye brows.
Oh… he wanted her to try harder? Well, usually when she was sparring people who weren’t quite a strong with her, this was how she fought. She redirected their momentum, shoved them over, and then did her best to block their attacks. But when they asked for her to try harder… well, last time that happened she cratered the guy through a wall. Good thing the guy's body seemed to have such high durability. She was pretty sure this guy she was fighting right now probably couldn’t take something like that.
“If you say so, brochacho,” she sucked her teeth and prepared to counter his next move.
It was clear she wasn’t keeping herself as alert and poised as usual. And when he ran up to her for his next attack—he did something she really didn’t expect. The jab was a feint, but he opened his palm and obscured her vision with his hand, something she heavily relied on.
When she moved to swat it away, she felt her heel get picked and tumbled backward. As she did so, however, she shot her hands out to grab both of his wrists and cause him to fall with her. When she landed on her back, she curled her knees in placing her feet against his stomach, and used the momentum she had to begin a back roll as she pushed off of him with both feet with all her strength and let go of his wrists. By doing this she hoped to send him flying.

((Sorry 4 short post, I'll probably add more later ;~ ) And fly he did. Felix was flung over Vivi, using the momentum to perform several stylish summersaults in the air. It was the perfect recovery . . . or it should have been. Just as he landed the side of Felix's foot slipped at the last integral moment, causing him to lose his balance and toppled over onto his face. 'How embarrassing.'
He recovered quickly, using the momentum of the fall to roll back to his feet; pretending none of that had happened, the only sign of his fall was a pavement patterned red mark on his cheek. He would rush Vivi while she was (hopefully) still recovering; taking three quick steps before jumping into the air performing a left legged front flip kick. He would aim his leg for her stomach.

(It's okay! Don't sweat it. ^_^)
Vivi watched Felix use his momentum to go flipping through the air like a gymnast on crack after she threw him. Needless to say, she was impressed. But then he seemed to slip when he landed and smashed his face into the ground. Vivi cringed in sympathy, but luckily the he recovered just as quickly as he fell. She had to suppress a laugh at his efforts to completely brush off the wipeout and regain her calm demeanor as she prepared to see what he would do next.
The boy performed another flashy move which had a high likelihood of hitting except for the fact that her levels of perception allowed her react to it without much difficulty. The violet haired girl stepped back in effort to avoid the first foot, and as the second one came down she’d catch it by cupping one hand under his calf and placing her other over the top of his thigh. At this point she was moving with the momentum he already had as she pivoted on one foot so that her back was toward him, went go down to one knee and would attempt to swing Felix over her head and slam him into the ground in front of her, while keeping her grip on his leg.

Felix could only watch in awe as his attack was dodged seemingly effortlessly. He could do nothing in the situation, only watch as the second kick was grabbed in mid air. The world seemed to slow down, a thought creeping into his mind as her grip seemed to tighten. 'No . . . She isn't . . . Is she?' His brain refused to accept what was happening as he was swung like a bat, down towards the floor. "Ah fu- GAH!" He smacked painfully against the ground, the force alone causing him to rebound off the floor again, flopping onto his back. He coughed weakly, the air having already fled his lungs. He laid there, in awe of Vivi as he tried to force air back into his lungs, with wheezing gasps. 'She's on a completely different level from me.' was all he could think, over and over.
Even still, injured, barely able to breathe, and on the floor, the thought brought a sort of excitement with it. He was fighting with the fastest person he'd ever met, and he was loving every second of it. Rolling onto his front he planted his fist into the ground, using it to prop himself onto his knee, grinning like mad. "I can keep going." Working his way back up to his feet, he would confidently thump his chest, with his fist showing he was still okay to fight.
There was no contest between them, he'd already established rushing her wouldn't work. So instead he took a wider stance, facing Vivi. His knees slightly bent, with his hands held out, his palms pointed towards her. "You still haven't attacked me yet." He would chide her humorously. Flicking his chin at her in encouragement, he continued. "Come at me." His muscles tensed and relaxed in anticipation of whatever was coming.

YOUR SIG IS BEAUTIFUL |
After slamming Felix into the ground, she stepped back, her heart pounding in her ears. Oh god… had she over done it again? Her indigo hues stayed fixed to him as he lay on the ground looking like he was in a good amount of pain, and guilt fluttered in her chest. Yup, on the inside Vivi was a regular human with sympathy. But currently, on the outside she was staring at him stone faced.
“Dude--” she raised her eye brows, “Are you okay? That was a bit much, sorry about that.”
Then, he got back up to his feet, grinning just like before. She let out a soft chuckle.
“You really are somethn’ else...” Vivi said, “Alright. I’ll give the first hit this time.”
She was still for a moment, then she rolled her shoulder before allowing her arm to fall to her side again. A beat. Two beats. Then she went. The violet haired girl pushed off the ground with her back foot, kicking up dust behind her and came dashing forward. Drawing her right arm back as she moved, she’d aim a palm strike for his left shoulder with her right hand, before shifting her weight and throwing a kick for his right side with her left leg aimed at his lower ribs. The palm strike was full power, but the kick was significantly slower and had much less force in case he wasn’t able to counter it. She didn’t want to break this kid’s bones.

Felix's heart pounded, this was definitely more exciting than how he had guessed the rest of the day would have gone. He steadied himself as she seemed to get ready for her attack, keeping his eyes peeled. Actually he had been keeping his eyes open so long they were starting to burn, his eyes tearing up he was forced to blink just as she rushed forward. "T-Time ou- WAGH!" His eyes opened, in the literal blink of an eye she had crossed the distance between them and was prepped to attack.
He couldn't even react enough to flinch as her palm slammed into his shoulder the force sending it rocking backwards along with the entire left side of his body, his foot skidding along the floor as the only thing preventing him from leaving the floor, and flying into the stratosphere. His left shoulder felt like it had been blown off, going numb for a few moments before the feeling rushed back, a burning pain rushing with it. Using the momentum from her attack to send himself in a full counter clock wise spin while also unknowingly setting himself up for her kick as he sent a spinning backhand, the back of his knuckles aimed for her face. 'Sorry gorgeous.'
His arm unable to block her attack would leave him open to the kick, bringing a quick exhalation of air in his lungs. Also due to his change of position from the spin, her kick would go towards his left side. As her kick made contact he would grit his teeth his lungs and side screaming for a break as he sent a follow up attack; a right hook aimed for her face, still utilizing the spin from before.

This kid was smart. The bit where he blocked her eyes was clever, and now he was utilizing his momentum, something she herself liked to do at times. It was especially helpful for speedsters, and so far, Felix seemed to be on the right track.
The kick hit true, and the crafty dude used the momentum from her palm strike to swing around and attack. Vivi took the blow to the side of her face, her eye on the same side squeezing shut. It smarted and the momentum definitely helped, but she was also quite durable. She placed both feet on the ground, watching as he came forward with his hook. Vivi would step forward with her left foot, placing her forearm on the inside of his elbow in hopes of entirely stopping the hits momentum.
From there, the right side of her body jerked forward as if she was about to strike, but she suddenly halted. He’d looked like he was in a lot of pain when she slammed him. Was he really alright to keep going like this or was that a load of hot air? A moment later, she aimed a punch for his solar plexus. Enough to hurt and possibly cause him to back pedal, but it was no falcon punch. In that moment she hesitated, he’d likely have some good reaction time.
