I'm sorry....but why are you posting this? Is someone mentioning it or something?

Like...I was around through all of this, hell i lived through all this, and was/still am friends with both parties. Not only was it years ago but at the time you had just gotten out of the military. I have a friend in Washington who got back from the marines and had been doing coke and meth to forget what happened. He also talked about doing like mercenary work and leaving his family. This guy was a total family man and a good friend before that.

We forced him into counselling, and now he doesn't even remember half of the things he said and did. He doesn't do drugs, doesn't drink, and moved to Oregon with his family to get away from his past. War messes with your head....and I I'm not sure why you felt the need to tell everyone, Leon, but I don't judge you for it. It was very messed up while it was happening, but it was happening to you and my other friend at the same time so I knew how to deal with it.

I don't think you should worry about people spreading rumors about you- if they are, they're not only ignorant, they are also petty and downright mean.

Also, FYI: I'm still friends to this day with the people this happened to, and though it marred their friendship with Leon, they don't hate him or feel anger toward him. They literally live right up the street from me, Leon apologized many times and even RPed with them prior to 259's death.

EDIT: I know why this was posted now- and I don't care if I get a warning or something. Anyone who makes fun of a person or puts them down or shames them or tries to persecute a person who at one time in their life had SEVERE PTSD needs to step back and unfuck themselves.

I have an uncle in the core, another from the rangers (honorably discharged for unspecified reasons, which i assume to be PTSD) and If you wanna have a little chat about what that means to someone I'm here to chat with you about it. Pointing a finger at someone with that disability is no different than poking fun of any other disability.
