A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Jason stood, staring out over the front of the school. Man...this place was a dump. Anyone ever heard of having a janitorial staff? The windows were busted to shit. The cement was full of cracks and craters. Like a mutant academy for angsty kids who just wanted to take their problems out on each other. He was not looking forward to coming here. Still, he remembered his sisters tear stained face and the reason he was doing this came back to him. With a heavy sigh, his hand shifted his backpack onto his shoulder more fluidly and he started walking toward the front doors. He had done a little research on 552. And on the area in general. He always knew that gangs were heavily prevalent in most major cities- but this was like a petri dish for the most violent people on the planet. He glanced skyward, half expecting to see a massive microscope watching them. Opening the front doors, he was greeted by two fights. Slowly walking around them, he watched the punches and blood flying. A drop nicked his cheek, and his face scrunched up in disgust. "Ugh...nasty...." He reached up and wiped off the blood, brushing it off on his jeans before turning and heading deeper inside. He would stop at the main office window and clear his throat. "Um...excuse me....I'm here for my schedule?" When Jason made it to the office window he’d find yet a mother fight going on only a few yards away. Vivi just so happened to be involved with some of this violence, though she was completely oblivious to the newbie student and his disgust towards things of the like. But hey, at least in her mind she had a good reason. She’d found a group of guys harassing a couple girls who clearly knew nothing about self defense, and when one of them kicked one of the guys in the nuts—well, all hell broke loose.
Not wanting to see the petite young woman smashed into the ground, Vivi jumped into the fight and did her best to either scare them all the hell away or beat them senseless so they’d think twice next time.
Vivi slammed a heavy right punch into a guy’s nose causing warm blood to spurt everywhere before grabbing his collar and tossing him toward the floor. One of the guys ran off after recognizing her but two more guys stayed. One of them started towards her as a grin crossed his lips and he charged at her, but... he was ultimately sent flying right into some kid standing at the office window. (Jason) Uhh… oops, that probably hurt. She threw the guy at a pretty high velocity.
"SORRY!" she yelled, before ducking to avoid one of the remaining punks punches and slamming her foot into his knee cap.

Jason turned at the noise, but only in time to grunt under the impact of another solid mass of human flesh being flung at him. He coughed out a breath as his back smashed into a wall, the body thrown with such force that he had neither the time to react nor to prep for impact. He collision with the wall scraped up his back like skinned knees, while his lip was busted open form the fellow that was pressed against him whipping his head back involuntarily. He pushed the guy off him, red eyes narrowing on the area of assault. Two more men rushed from around the corner to attack Vivi- obviously friends of his. Jason....was not one prone to violence. He detested the feeling of knuckles on flesh. So even though anger and adrenaline were pumping through his body like nitrous, he kept his cool. Standing up straight he ran a hand through his soft hair before using his other hand to wipe the blood from his lips. He set his pack down against the wall and started toward the group at a jog, the first of the pair that had circled around Vivi rushing in. The second started, but Jason would reach out and snatch him by the hair with his left hand, kicking out with his left leg for the back of the students right knee just before pulling down on the hair hard. His mission was to put the guy on his back and make him stay there out of pain and confusion- he just didn't want him to get hurt, and it seemed this girl was way strong. He would early shout to everyone around. "Holy shit! What is with this place!?" What were these kids, a bunch of masochists? Fuck.... Vivi watched the boy who’d gotten a dude slammed into him for a moment, internally cringing. Wow… she really hand’t meant to do that but it was too late to change it now. She turned her gaze to the corner of the hall as two more men came barreling toward her. Why… were they so dumb. All Vivi basically did was beat the guy’s who preyed on the weak or caused trouble just for shits and giggles to the point where they’d think twice next time in case she caught wind of it but they aaalways had a few dudes off somewhere to back them up. Didn’t they notice what happened to the other guys? Ugh… Nevermind.
When the next guy charged her and cocked her right arm back, and when he was close enough, slammed her fist into his gut with enough force to send him flying back several yards. The violet haired teen glanced over her shoulder in time to see the boy from earlier forcing the last guy down… it didn’t look like he was trying to knock him out, so what the heck was he trying to accomplish? When you just held a hostile person down they tended to lash out as soon as you let up pressure.
“Well,” Vivi said in response to his comment, “A lot of people sent here are violence prone or straight up criminals. Believe it or not, this and sometimes worse happens everyday.”
By worse she met stuff like Orochi, Riot, and FEAR. Yep. Much worse.
Vivi knelt down next to the guy that was being pinned down by Jason.
“Hey bitch," she narrowed her eyes and spoke to him in a low voice, "Your buddies were creeping on and harassing young girls. This is what happens alright? Now buzz off. I know you've got better things to do."

Jason let the boy go as he nodded at her words, rushing over to help his friend up so they could limp away. Jason just lay on the ground, noticing a feathering of the boys hair in his grasp. He stared at it, grinding his teeth a little before letting the pent up breath slip through his lips. He wiped his hand off on his jeans, looking over to Vivi and sitting up. So...a Pillar. As stated previously, he'd done his homework and knew who was who, at least in the school leadership. He wiped off his lip again and would clear his throat as he sat up. "Are you saying you aren't then? A criminal, I mean." If a lot or most of the students here were criminals, she might be too, right? If not, then she must have volunteered to be here in some capacity, which just seemed downright insane to him. Putting a hand on his knee to support pushing himself to his feet. He would look around at all the bodies, more then a little put off by the blood and disaster. He would study her face a moment and use his clean hand to offer her a shake. "My name is Jason. You're a Pillar, right?" Thread is **OPEN** Mood: Discontent Physical Status: Scraped back and cut lip Music: "Song of Storms" By Nintendo "Sometimes.....life just doesn't make sense, y'know?"

Vivi watched the punks make a run for it and leaned back to sit of the floor. The girl let out an exasperated sigh and brushed some of her hair out of her face. This happened way too often, and this wasn’t the first time a new student had witnessed it either. Typically when this happened, they’d write her off as some kind of psycho or hypocrite and never bother to associate with her again.
Her indigo gaze flicked toward the boy for a second as she pondered this. She wanted to help him out and see if he was okay but… if he was like the others that’d only make him angry. So for the time being she sat still to see what he would do next.
"Are you saying you aren't then? A criminal, I mean."
Vivi opened her mouth as if to respond and furrowed her eye brows. Okay… she hadn’t been expecting that. He was asking out of pure curiosity, obviously, but still… surprisingly enough this was the first time someone had actually questioned her background. None of the people she met here went so far as to ask why she was there in the first place, what she did before hand or even simply ask if she was a criminal like this guy did.
And she’d liked it that way. Coming to five-five-two was a new start. Not necessarily a good one, but a blank page is a blank page. People didn’t look at her like she was scum of the earth here. Well, generally they didn’t. And if they did, it wasn’t for the reasons people used to like in Michigan.
All these thoughts raced through her head in a matter of seconds, so the pause before her answer wasn’t too notable, but it was there.
“I’ve made my mistakes,” she said simply.
“Good to meet you, Jason—welcome to five-five-two,” she replied, “And yup, I'm one of them. Call me Vivi.”
The dark haired girl stood up wiped some of the blood on her knuckles gloves off on her shorts.
“How’s the lip?” she arched an eye brow, “Uh—super sorry for… well, throwing a dude at you.”

This girl was interesting. She seemed to recover quickly, to try and mask the slight shift in her response. His eyes gleaned over the rather taken-aback sub attitude of the girl. He would attempt to offer his hand further before she stood, to help her to his feet. Jason was taught manners, and chivalry. Not the sexist crap peddled by most- obviously, he knew she could help herself up. Again, all about being nice. "I see. Okay, Vivi....is it bad I'm curious what your full name is? Assuming Vivi is a nickname, you don't have to tell me." ' Just like you don't have to tell me about why you're here, which you so deftly avoided.' Still, he wasn't upset. She could keep her secrets, he had his own. It was still interesting to know that she seemed to reveal nothing about who she was- she's made mistakes, but doesn't admit to what or that she's an outright criminal, indicating she was here because she did something or others believe she did, but wasn't enough to put a smudge on her record. Or...perhaps he was reading into it too much. Still, she wouldn't even give her real name, saying he could call her Vivi. Vivi...Victoria? Vikki? Vitrell? Vi. Alright, Vi it was. "It's okay. My fault more than yours, Vi. I should have been paying closer attention." He turned to glance at his pack- which was now gone. He raised his right hand and scratched the back of his head, sighing. "Aaaand my bags been stolen. Awesome start to a first day." Vivi accepted his hand when he reached out to help her up in turn, also out of politeness. She stretched out her shoulder joints a bit as he spoke, keeping a calm look on her face. He seemed to have simmered down quite a bit which was good. A while ago she was sure he’d be pissed at her, maybe even try to deck her. Her arms fell to her sides and she raised her eye brows at him when he asked his question
“Full name? Ah, sorry. It’s Vivi Perish.”
Yes, she intentionally acted as though had misunderstood him. This time though she was subtly trying to be obnoxious, but she also preferred he called her Vivi. If she threw out her full name there was a chance he’d start to call her that. In the long run it was all her selfish preferences. She hated the sound of her full name for certain reasons and that was that.
“As if,” she chuckled in response to the bit about it being more his fault, “You shouldn’t have to pay attention for flying bodies on a school campus. But then again, this is five-five-two.”
She paused for a moment before continuing, this time sounding a bit more serious.
“The first month or so can be hard. Just remember, fight it or accept it. Fear it, or control it. You’ve basically got a choice between becoming invisible and getting strong so that people can’t push you down for standing out.”
She raised her eye brows when Jason noted his missing bag, and glanced around in hopes of catching sight of whoever had ran off with it.
“Oh, damn. Did you have anything super important in there?”

Jason chuckled.
"Yeah...judging by the fights I saw on the way in and just now...I probably should keep track of flying bodies. And I'm not particularly fond of fighting in general. I'd much rather just get my schoolwork done and finish out my time here."
He would brush himself off, looking back over to where his back was. Was anything important in there?
"My laptop. Books. Phone. Wallet. House keys. Yeah, some important things."
He would grin, trying to keep a pleasant outlook.
"Ah well....nothing irreplaceable, I guess. But, I'm curious- you are...third pillar? I was going to look into classes for martial arts but I couldn't really find any. Would you be interested at all in training with me? Not...not now, of course but in the future?"

“Uuum,” Vivi raised her eye brows, “Call me crazy, but those sound like some pretty important things to me. Maybe we should try to track’em down?”
The violet haired girl scanned the surrounding area but there were not signs of the thief. She was honestly surprised she missed him with her far above average sense of perception. She must’ve been hella distracted. Vivi turned her gaze back to him when he spoke up once more and the corners of her mouth quirked upward.
“Yup, I’m the Third Pillar.”
The supposedly weakest, shortest, and only female one too. She really wondered how many people took her seriously, sometimes. Even when she beat them up.
“Ohh boy, you’ll definitely need it here,” Vivi sucked her teeth, “Yeah. I’ll train with you. But if you wanna get strong enough to keep overly aggressive testosterone driven dudes off your back you've gotta train hard. 'You down for that, Jason?”

He would put both hands in his pockets and smile widely.
"Of course! I'm more than willing to train on whatever schedule you have available or believe is necessary. Doing it with you will be best anyway- can't get better until you beat the best right?"
Jason sounded far more confident than he felt. Going up against a pillar- someone he couldn't even keep track of in that little scuffle...? He'd get decimated, no matter how pleased with his own skills he was. And since she was third, he knew there were three others considered stronger than her. He chewed his lip, trying to sort out his feelings on that. Where he came from wasn't....like this at all.
"I don't want to get stepped on so...do your worst, I guess?"

“Good to hear, dude,” she cracked a slight grin and raised her eye brows, “I’d hate for you to get stepped on too, so I’ll do what I can to show you the ropes and help you get stronger.”
She’d met a lot of newbies and always felt a lot of sympathy for them, because she’d been in their shoes. Just like this guy, she’d come into the school with very little combat prowess. In her case, she’d hadn’t known what to expect either, so the ridiculous amounts of violence appalled her, and she’d gotten caught up in a lot of it too. Those first few months were painful. Of course, her time here was still causing pain, but now it felt like a different kind.
“We can meet up in the gym sometime and spar if you want. Or we could try running or lifting to build of some muscle and endurance. Honestly, if you can approve your physical capabilities in anyway now you’ll thank yourself for it later.”
It was never fun when you got attacked by someone who could out muscle, out run, and out smart you. When she was new, a lot of the people she fought she couldn’t even make a scratch on. From what she was seeing though, it seemed like this guy was more into self defense than any type of higher calling, which was cool.

He would give a toothy grin.
"Yeah....is it that obvious? I mean, I obviously don't have the roided out, body builder look. But I suppose I understand how lacking I am in the physical department. I'll keep it in mind to work on."
She was offering to spar with him? To be honest, he expected her advice and a test from time to time but to have personal training from the Third Pillar...? It was more than he could have hoped for. He tried his best to gauge what kind of person she was- she offered very little about her own capabilities, instead playing humble by downplaying her own prowess in favor of taking higher roads. She seemed willing to commit to helping him on an individual level, which said she didn't just care about the school, she actually cared about the students.
Was it possible that someone who actually wanted them to be safe could be in a position of power? In a role that would allow them the leash needed to change how things ran?
From what he could tell- the Captain was an empty title, a man who refused to claim the throne. Hell, from what he heard, the Captain put more people in the hospital than half the schools combined. A brute, but obviously not stupid. You didn't hold onto your power by being dumb. The only way he could really get an idea of the Captain was to meet him in person, to try and sit down with him and give him a fair shake. Or, perhaps, there would be a less...dangerous road to take.
"I would love to spar. Anytime. I also had a question...."
Would phrasing here matter? He doubted she would try and dig into what he was looking for anyway.
"What's the Captain like? I mean, I've read articles and stuff about him but from what I can tell, he's sort of like a modern Genghis Khan, "The early years". Is he as bad as the news makes him out to be? I just want to know exactly how many miles I need to put between him and myself right now, haha..."
