[subjects: Kylemor Lane , Terra Alianovna Dryagin , @taffyhorror , James Quentin ][tags: the devil and M.E.W.] HELLO, FATE. MY OLD ENEMY.
"Hm..."
The hazel hues watched attentively behind those black specs as the suits managed to corner the man with the hat on the second floor. They inched closer and closer until a very large gust of wind floored the marching M.E.W soldiers, sending them to the ground and any civilian in the vicinity. Ty grounded himself, swiftly bringing his right hand up to his face as a shield. His navy blue pea coat flew backwards, flowing along with the direction of the wind. His clothes fluttered along as well. It was a sharp and very quick burst, and obviously unnatural. One of those powers. This whole situation was about to get out of hand, very fast. With almost a flicker the man with the hat were suddenly on the 1st floor of the mall. The suits occupying that level converged on him and naturally, chaos ensued. So, that's the way fate would have it then? Fine. The M.E.W worms were merely kitty cats posing as poised lions. It was his turn to enter the fray. They were o better than the petty gangs trying to muscle around the city. Organized vermin. Watching from afar could only progress him to a certain point. He definitely required a closer look. Ty was no hero. He'd only striven to pacify the idiots that looked to be obstacles in the Hattori ambition and goal of peace. From a strategic stand point, it could serve well to thin out the suit's ranks until he could further assess the confusing and very scarce amount of information he was able to secure on the situation. Perhaps whatever was in that suitcase could serve The Titans and his brother well. Perhaps that man in the hat could be a valuable ally in the future. All of that aside, it was pretty ridiculous that these fuck heads seemed to have no regard to anything but their mission. They'd be an obstacle in the grand scheme and battle.
Time to find the fuck out.
Behind a blanket of his usual icy demeanor, the Blue Devil from the second floor made a short burst jump upward. His feet planting on the top of the railing he'd leaned on, using his skill to perform an amazing balancing act. Without another thought and within a split second, the boy eyed a mall kiosk below him before allowing himself to drop down onto the top of it. The wind from the drop carried the tail of his pea coat upward. Landing gracefully on the top of the kiosk, maintaining his balance through a bend in his knees, the boy readjusted his glasses on his face while glaring menacingly through the frames at a M.E.W suit rushing towards another boy who'd managed to get his hands on the suitcase from before. Curiosity carried the cat. Ty launched himself from the kiosk towards the M.E.W suit, extending a right legged kick towards the man's back but also utilize the man as a soft landing. And just like that, he'd made a quick descent into the battle.
"Let's go, worms. Fate is sending you to Hell."
A quick side step and a slight body pivot allowed a rather wild hay maker to launch past his face. The wind from the blow whipping wildly against his cheek. He countered the missed strike by bringing a quick backhand to the man's temple, a blow to undoubtedly disorient upon impact. His hues flicked over to the 'red boy' that possessed the suitcase, successfully fending off the suits.
"Seems like they were trying to get it away from you. Mind me asking why?"
Perhaps it was the cure to cancer. Perhaps it was a stepping stone for his ambition. Ty would remain silent, awaiting an answer. Silence was perfectly golden at this time. It were best not to reveal his own motives before making a complete assessment of the situation. He'd listen attentively, though his eyes shot over to another incoming strike, stepping under to evade it, the man's momentum sending him stumbling forward.
Oh, what a time. To be alive.

Cardes saw the men in M.E.W crowd around that one man, and when the carnage and beating started, Cardes joined right in. However, he was going to help the Person which the M.E.W agents were after. He believed that any person who would be on the hunt by potential government agents would be a good ally for the mafia Cardes planned on expanding to greater recognition.
Entering the battlefield, Cain began to kick and punch at random, aiming to hit and run as he made his way over to the person. His journey wasn't as difficult as it could have been, as Cardes was simply moving with the crowd of people flowing towards the person in question. When he got to the man, he gave him a comforting smile, before fighting to defend the man. He punched and kicked and punched and kicked all around him at random, making sure that no one would hurt the man. There were occasional times when Cardes got hit, and soon enough he began to grow tired of this. Taking a hand into his bag, he pulled out a Horrible, HORRIBLE souvenir from thanks giving, coleslaw, and threw it on the ground. If he succeeded with his almighty coleslaw bomb, slips and slides would immediently follow, which Cardes would follow up and try to skate on the coleslaw mess, spinning around to kick people or throwing the coleslaw at the people. If Cardes failed however, he would draw back towards the shady man and continue to try and defend him. He saw other people trying to defend him as well, but Cardes ignored them for now. They were not important for this situation. All Cardes was concerned about was protecting the shady man.
Coleslaw Bomb: Nobody likes coleslaw. Nobody, and that is the very reason this nefarious contraption came to be. This bomb explodes into a mess of the worst side-dish imaginable when it makes contact with any surface. Everything within a 10 foot radius from the point of impact is covered in a slimy mess! All parties caught in the explosion become slippery for three rounds. This includes sliding along the surface they walk on, and strikes can slip off of their intended targets. Likewise, strikes can slip off of them as well. Does not need to be treated as actual coleslaw. We understand.

He was ignored! Yay! Kylemor continued to mess with the clay and not pay attention to what was going around him. The people in the M.E.W. didn't bother him anymore and he left them alone as he had no business with them. Though when the wind blew he looked up. It was strange, maybe an omen?
The people seemed to be acting violently now, which made him break out into a large grin. This would be fun. Taking his stuff he wandered closer to the action without trying to get involved since he still had no idea what was really going on. He just knew he wanted to take some pictures and maybe start a scrapbook. People in pain make interesting faces.
NOTES He currently just wandered closer to the guy with the hat on floor 1 MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Terra's head tilted a little to the man with in red whom passed her by giving his advice. Little did he know she didn't need it. Not to be smug but Terra was well versed in this life to not assume foolishly of this particular group. Their tactics, their mannerisms didn't scream sloppy to her. They screamed a far more different tune. As he slipped into the crowd, the bluenette had silently done the exact same. Shit was about to go down and honestly there was no real stopping it till it happened.
"Hm?"
Just as they were upon him a wind surged through the mall. The point of origin was unknown initially. She braced for the sudden winds at first pondering the possibility till it dawned on her. Someone had an ability of sorts. Well this was getting all the more interesting. It wasn't too long ago she had gotten into the fray of that bank heist she learned Mayhem was behind. Her left shoulder was better for the most part. But now this, good thing Nico wasn't there - he had better not be there this time. Terra was no more than a few inches behind the red clad individual whom spoke to her earlier when the 'target' from above was suddenly down below.
At first she didn't attack feeling that odd wind pick up. She glanced past the one that picked up the briefcase that slid towards him as the one she bumped earlier came down to join the little festivities. Was the M.E.W. people's target the origin of this almost cyclone? It whipped her intricate styled ponytail about as the inevitable fell before her. She wasn't too keen in jumping in per say but she was literally already in the middle. Self defense right? As the one in red clashed Terra felt herself being pushed out the way by a suit coming from behind. Now she didn't like to be touched without permission let alone forcefully. As the suit went to swing at the red clad one that skateboard she just brought was being used to clock the suit hard on the back of the head, knocking him away and more than likely unconscious. Terra would step up to the left of Mister Red, piercing/alluring greens glancing at M.E.W's target. First she would address Mister Red then the shady figure in a calm smooth tone.
"Mind your back... This wind is you isn't it? Matter fact better wise to move and speak, no?"
~I shouldn't even be bothering but tsk.~
Terra would make a small nod motion to the suits still in the area. Afterall the mall was crawling with them prior them standing in one place was not the wisest of decisions. They didn't have the greatest of advantages just yet.

Finally people took action, but it was almost too late, the man under the hat turned to look at those near by and when he was addressed he simply pointed at the man in red as the new comers dispatched their foe's with expert... Ish ability.
"Yeah the wind was me. Get that case out of here, no matter what Malice can't get a hold of it!"
At that the two M.E.W guys with the devices on would change. Gold lines would appear along their visible skin and clothing, their hair turning white and spiking upwards. It was a spectacle that some would see as a neat trick, but those who knew, would see the danger. The man under the hat would raise his right arm and show an odd hexagonal crystal holding it out like a weapon, in in that motion both M.E.W men moved like a shadow, a flicker in the corner of your eye. The man under the hat avoided one attack, but the second hit, knocking his hat away, both the now revealed blond Mark Kent and the M.E.W man stood there.
The sound of droplets of liquid hitting the floor echoed as if no other sound could be heard... The wind had halted and if one looked they would see the hand of the M.E.W guy sticking through Mark's chest. It would be silent and stagnant for a minute before Mark crushed the crystal in his hand and an immense power erupted from the crushed crystal into Mark who used it in retaliation in a wave of harsh wind that tore the man to shreds. Mark turned the severed arm of the M.E.W guy in his chest.
"Get... The case... Away..."
And he would fall to the ground. Dieing.

We're in the same game Just different levels. Dealing with the same hell; just different devils.
Idiocy. Terra felt slightly idiotic that she didn't just leave when she should've. But something had kept her behind. Something had made her look on and wonder. Something made her react. As much as it was relieving to know this had nothing to do with her family she was still torn into the mix. Great. She was no hero like the rest of Wonderland honestly but one could say she had more heart than the rest. Sometimes she stuck her neck out for what reason though? No one but she knew if she even did herself.
This however seemed to be pushing it. Dealing with people with greater abilities and all. Honestly a little rush coursed through her body at the prospect but now wasn't the time for that. And that was something she was hating very much about herself. These little tingles that came at times. The hatted target pointed at the case and spoke in a demand of sorts towards the group to get the case out of there. Who was Malice? So now they were the courier's? It couldn't get any worse right? Wrong. Those nearby M.E.W. guys started changing.
"Дерьмо." [Der'mo - Shit]
Terra muttered under her breath in her Russian tongue, carrying the accent that only appeared when she spoke the language. It was rare that she cursed so when she did it was usually in Russian. Changes like that never promoted anything good, but what was in the hand of this stranger before them. Some odd crystal he held. The two suits made a move that honestly blindsided the Russian at how fast they were at first. The man dodged the first it seemed but was not so lucky upon the second's strike. The howling wind seized with the utmost deadening sound. The sound of nothingness.
That familiar sound of blood droplets caught the eyes and ears of the bluenette as she stood her ground barely wide eyed. More like frowning brows trying to make sense of everything at once. The blonde seemed to crush the object in his hand and a harsh wind tore into the man before him - what a bloody mess. Terra covered her face in a reactionary form till the deed was done. As the man turned around the protruding arm of the suit was still lodged in his chest. Her body reacted to grab the falling blonde by the collar and guide him to the ground. She knelt by him briefly knowing there was nothing she could do for him. If she even could would she have? What could she really say? She wasn't about to ask him questions besides he only took care of the ones on the top floor that converged on him and who's to say they were done for the count. There were still many on the first floor of course. He ended the life of one of those Super Sayian suited guys but he had only dodged the other.
"Where's the other?"
She would say quizzically looking around from her crouched position near the fallen blonde. She felt that guy was gonna be the most problematic and if there was more well shit. Believe she was all for fleeing and at this point unfortunately assisting in getting the case out of dodge but they couldn't run blindly. Not only was she looking for the guy if he happened to became ghost but she was looking for any exists or rather paths to maneuver. The mall was in a uproar naturally. Panic was never good for these situations.

Cards was feeling like he was doing a pretty decent job fighting hitting and kicking through the chaos when he heard a splattering noise coming from somewhere near him. then the blood came over to him. It splatter all over him, standing his clothes crimson. He stood still and turned his head to see where the blood came from. The sight of the body had an interesting effect on him. He began to feel incredibly sleepy from the sight of the bloodshed, but through his heavy eyes, Cardes saw the man with the arm in his torso.
He came to the shocking realization that the person on the ground was the shady man in the hat, and he took a pause to take it all in. this was the first time he had seen a man actually dying in front of him. He had seen dead bodies, but never the process of someone dying. He wandered over to the man in a daze, and knelt down on the ground. Instead of staring down at the man, he saw the little remains of the white crystal near the ground. Scooping up the bits and the dust and putting them into a little sample bag, He then turned to the man on the ground, looking sleepy and worried.
"the suitcase…right…" he nodded, but was glad he got the crystals to study later.

As he approached the scene he saw a man die right in front of him. Unable to help it he laughed softly. It was devoid of emotion and out of place. A bright smile matched the laugh right after as if this was a joyous occasion. Besides this, no one seemed to notice him, or approach him for that matter. He didn't mind this as it allowed him to move freely. He was crazy, but had some sense in him.
As he actually concentrated for the first time that day he put a few puzzle pieces today. There was the dying guy, people in M.E.W. outfits, and a suitcase. In his opinion he didn't care in the slightest, but then he couldn't really leave as the mall was too chaotic for that. He wanted to slip out with ease undetected, so since that wasn't going to happen anytime soon he decided to watch.
Everything around the immediate area seemed still, as if no one knew what to do. A decision made, he walked up to the scene and would try to take the suitcase. If he managed to get it somehow, unlikely, but somehow. He would try to rip it apart, or break it.

James was stunned. He had no idea how to keep track of what had just happened, and it gave him a sharp thrill of excitement as the chaos built around him, and that almost feral smile spread across his lips again. "It begins," he murmured, and nodded as he backpedaled from the swarm, suitcase clutched tightly in his left hand, his right kept rigid as his eyes darted to take a quick stock of the situation.
When the new person came up to try to take the suitcase, James spun away, his right hand jabbing out with the intention of hitting the inside of the elbow and the nerves there, that would completely numb from the elbow down. "Not going to happen, I'm getting this out of here, dying man's wish," he hissed, and then spun on his heel, slipping into the crowd that was rushing for the exits, the suitcase vanishing into his coat. 'Gotta get this thing outta here, and stay out of sight,' he thought to himself. MADE BY KAIZU OF GS & TWF
