Cless ignoring Hemera for the time being, as she was no immediate threat to him, as Asch blocked his downward strike, Cless would be pushed backwards, sending him off-balance and giving Asch enough time to launch his counterattack and slice Cless' abdomen but because this is based off the Tales of series, there is no blood, inflicting a decent amount of damage on the young warrior. Undaunted by his opponent's impressive strength behind his strike, Cless would fight on, and charging towards Asch, would slash upward at him once within range while jumping high into the air, followed by tossing a fireball down to Asch while airborne.
Managing to slam Macht down to the ground, Lexington however, would manage to block Lloyd's upward strike, though he would not be so fortunate with the downward strike, as it would hit him square in the upper body. As Lexington extended his left convex dagger, to hook Lloyd's right ankle, the young warrior would be unable to evade and have his ankle dragged towards Lexington. But he was not out just yet, and as he was dragged, he would try to slam Lexington with extreme force, creating a blast of energy in the image of a lion's head, and if it connected, force him to be blasted away and knocked to the ground, allowing Lloyd to free his ankle hopefully.
Landing lightly after throwing her daggers at Kazuya, she would quickly dart away as he rolled to avoid the attack, and start casting as soon as she was able to. As Kazuya charged towards her, Tear would finishing casting as a magic crest formed beneath Kazuya, before erupting into magical light just as he slammed into her with the extreme force, the energy blast in the image of a lion's head blasting her away and knocking her to the ground, inflicting a decent amount of damage on her.

Asch would quickly take a few steps backward as Cless advanced and, at the last moment, lean backward so as to avoid his upward slashing movement, and he'd be just swift enough to mostly dodge--Cless's sword just barely cutting him. He'd take a kneel so as to regather his balance from the last dodge, and look up just in time to see his opponent airborne. Grabbing the handle of his sword with both hands, he would swiftly jump to his feet--swinging his sword in an upward motion as he did so. With the momentum from getting up as well as the swing itself, he was able to strike at the fireball being sent his way, sending it flying back at its caster who had no way of dodging whilst being in the air. Although the heat from the spell cast would lightly burn Asch, he had overall deflected it on his sword as an overall effective counterattack.

As Lexington managed to hook Lloyd's ankle, he quickly twisted the blade clockwise and counter clockwise almost like he was using the hook section to saw at Lloyd's ankle. As he quickly did this, Lloyd counter attacked and Lexington had literally no more to move a muscle as he was countered by another blast that send him flying, he skrrted across the stadium floor twice and came to a tumbling stop quite a distance away "Well damn, its a good thing I'm resilient" Lexington stood up and spun the gold dagger in his right hand as he charged again toward Lloyd.

A magic crest forming beneath him as soon as he reached Tear, there was no time or way for him to dodge, and he would end up taking the attack full force. As the light of the attack dissapated, the damage he had taken was visibly clear. His arms hang loosely by his side, his katanas still in his hands, his head was bowed slightly... but he was not out. His hands clenching up around the hilts of his katanas, he would take off towards Tear, his head lifting up, revealing the fire that burned within. Once he was within range, hoping to catch Tear off-guard, he would try to slam her with a weakened blast, creating the familiar lion's head image. He would then flip into the air and drop to the ground with enough force to create a powerful shock wave that hopefully, knocked her down.

As he was airborne, Cless would indeed have no visible way of dodging the fireball sent back his way... but it did not mean he was without any other option. With an almighty downward slash, Cless would hold his sword in both hands in front of him, blocking his own projectile... though not without repercussions. The fireball would visibly burn the armguards he wore, leaving char marks behind, as he landed lightly on the ground, though the damage was not as substantial, it was still a decent counter. Holding his sword in front of him, as he faced Asch, he would begin to faintly glow a light yellow, as he would focus and began preparing one of his most powerful Artes: Final Fury. Because in the actual game, it requires button commands to be inputted.
His ankle freed by his attack, as Lexington recovered, Lloyd couldn't help but give the man a huge grin. He was resilient, the young warrior had to hand it to him. As Lexington charged toward him, Lloyd would begin to faintly glow a light yellow, as he too would focus and began preparing his Mystic Arte: Falcon's Crest.
With her attack connecting, Tear would warily regard Kazuya as the young man stood there, visibly damaged from her attack... only to be caught slightly off-guard as he charged at her once more. Once more preparing to cast another spell after snapping out of her shock, she would try to hit him with another spell, but would end having to defend herself as he slammed into her with a weakened blast. Strafing to the side, she would manage to avoid the energy blast, but would end up knocked down from the shockwave that followed up. Quickly pushing herself to her feet, she would dart backwards, putting some space between her and him, and like Cless and Lloyd, would begin to faintly glow a light yellow, as she would prepare her Mystic Arte: Innocent Shine.

Asch would have to think fast--and though instincts told him to run away from the growing danger, he did just the opposite. Mustering all of his speed, Asch would quickly run up to Cless, swinging his sword and in a tight spinning motion, whip around behind Cless. He'd thrust his sword at his opponent in hopes to give a finishing blow of sorts before Cless could finish his final arte. With any luck he would be able to do this, but he knew that it was a dangerous risk.
After all, if Cless was fast enough, Asch would end up having to undertake the damage of his opponent's strongest arte--and at extremely close range, at that. Hopefully him being behind Cless would at least give him a surviving chance should Cless avoid Asch's final attack altogether.

As Kazuya whirled to the side to face Tear after she was knocked down by the shockwave, his eyes would flare as he saw her begin to faintly glow after climbing to her feet and quickly darting backwards from him, as she recovered much quicker than expected. However, just as she would prepare her most powerful attack... so too would he. Beginning to faintly glow flame red, tightly gripping both his katanas, Kazuya would dash forward towards Tear, as he would let loose a flurry of sword slices, damaging her as much as he could... before unleashing his own Mystic Arte, Twin Rising Dragon. Launching a dragon composed of fire with a mighty swing of his katana, he would use the dragon to protect him from her attack... before following up with a second dragon, which would fly straight for her, aiming to completely envelop her in fire and deal the final strike.

Continuing to focus intensely, as he would prepare one of his most powerful artes, Cless would finish charging up his arte just as Asch swung his sword and spun around in a tight motion, managing to end up behind him, as Cless would execute Final Fury. Though Asch would not be hit by the attack itself, Hemera unfortunately, would end up taking the hit, having been at the wrong place at the wrong time. However, the very force from the attack alone was enough to blow Asch back slightly, though with the thrust of his sword, he would manage to deal the final blow, as Cless would go down with a loud cry.
Unhindered by Macht and now Lexington, Lloyd would manage to execute his Mystic Arte, and channeling energy in his Material Blades before leaping up and fusing his swords into one large blade, the Eternal Sword, which he would smash onto both Macht and Lexington, causing immense damage to the two of them. With Cless down, Lloyd was the lone swordsman of the Tales Team still standing.
With her opponent charging up his own Mystic Arte, Tear would manage to execute her Mystic Arte, Innocent Shine, though the fire dragon Kazuya launched protected him from her attack. However, she did not forsee a second fire dragon, and would be unable to defend herself as the dragon soared at her and enveloped her in fire, causing massive damage and dealing the final blow, as she would go down with a cry.

"Sorry, man," Asch said as he pulled out his sword after having defeated Cless. "You were a good opponent." He'd turn his attention to see Lloyd still standing, and Asch was glad to see at least one other fighter had handled his opponent and was still standing. Perhaps the two of them would have what it took to take down Lloyd whilst the others didn't. Without any regards to what the other fighter was planning, Asch would charge at Lloyd to take him on--prepared to fight him even if he had to do it completely alone. He was a little beaten up from his last fight, but he was overall ready to start kicking! When he got close enough, Asch would swing his sword at his opponent. With luck, Lloyd would move to block his attack, leaving him open to be attacked by the other guy. Or perhaps Kazuya would attack and Lloyd would try to block that while Asch got him from behind. Either way, Asch planned to take him down and fast.

With Tear taken down, Kazuya would see only one of the three challengers was left, Lloyd Irving, but it was now 2 vs. 1, as the guy that had been sent tumbling into the arena by the rowdy audience, had managed to take Cless Alvein down by himself. Impressive, considering the guy wasn't even part of the Champion team to begin with. While the guy charged towards Lloyd, facing him head on, Kazuya would quickly charge Lloyd from behind, coordinating his attack with the other guy so when he swung his sword at Lloyd, Kazuya would swing his own katanas, the slices forming an X-shape, one right after the other, aiming to hit Lloyd in the back and take him down. Lloyd was powerful, considering he managed to take out both Macht and Lexington, but with both him and the other attacking him at once, hopefully at least one of them would manage to get a strike in and end the match.

As Asch came charging towards Lloyd after taking Cless down, the lone swordsman would defend himself from the sword swing with one of his blades, the Vorpal Blade, the other blade, the Flamberge, held slightly behind him. His blade clashing with Asch's in a loud clang of metal vs. metal, the audience would roar loudly. Lloyd's eyes darting to the side, he would fail to notice in time Kazuya coming up from behind him, as the young samurai's strikes would hit their mark, dealing the final blow, as Lloyd would fall to the ground with a low cry. The match was over... and the champions of the Team Battle (plus Asch) would emerge victorious. "Amazing Team 552! They are the true champions of the Team Battle! Today's Team Battle turned out to be a heavy dose of Team 552 strength! Please give a thundering applause to Team 552! Asch rested his sword on his shoulder after the whole thing was done and finished with--the blade placed horizontally so the blades wouldn't dig into his skin, of course. He glanced over his shoulder and smirked at all the cheering crowds, and he was quite pleased with himself that he was one of the last two standing. Not to mention he'd completely taken down that champion guy by himself and still was able to keep fighting. "Guess it was a good fight, after all. Ha! Didn't expect it to be like this," he thought, before glancing back at his fallen opponent. Asch hoped that there would be some medics to help out the poor defeated guys, but he couldn't help but to notice Lloyd dropped an item, almost like as if he was one of those bosses in a video game. Curious, Asch picked up the Mumbane and looked it over, before shrugging and deciding to take it. It looked pretty cool.

As Lloyd Irving fell to the ground from his X strike, Kazuya would remain crouched down slightly, only relaxing and straightening up the moment the roar of the crowd reached his ears. Both his katanas held in his hands, with a swift, fluid motion, he would place both of them back in their sheathes on his back before casually folding his arms across his chest, as he would glance up and over the audience as they cheered excitedly. He had promised to give the audience an exhibition match they would not soon forget... and he delivered on that. Along with the 50,000 Gald and Extreme Warrior's Symbol the team had won for beating the Team Battle, as he helped his comrades out of the coliseum, he would pick up the armor Lloyd had dropped along the way, and throw the armor Tear had dropped to a familiar face in the audience *cough*Ira*cough*. They would be having a good dinner and rest in the inn tonight, in preparation for the final confrontation...

Narrowing her eyes, Ira threw herself onto Kazuya as he was exiting the place, determinedly attempting to slam him to the ground. Snatching the armor out of his hands, she winked at him before standing up to brush herself off. Leaving the said field quickly, she had the armor gripped tightly in her hands, to a point where her knuckles were ivory.
She messed up. It wouldn't happen again.

She was floating. There was nothing around Hemera except for a hazy sky. Where was she? "You got knocked out, hon," said Nyka. This startled Hemera out of her unconsciousness. The battle was over. She was laying on the dirt ground, crumpled into a half-fetal position. With a groan, she pushed herself up and glanced around. It seemed as though the coliseum was emptying. She must have been too exhausted from the prior fights to participate fully in this one. The last thing she remembered was Asch locked in battle with Cless, then Cless sent something her way.....Blackness. Shaking her head, Hemera stood up and made her way outside of the arena. She needed much more training. Much more. Nyka was gonna kick her ass for this one.
