welcome
Welcome delinquents to PHS #552. A few reminders, no rough housing, no running in the hallways, no cheating, and no talking back to your teachers. Beyond that, enjoy yourselves. After all these are the years you’ll look back on, and remember, you mother fuckers peaked too early.

A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

The office of the pillars has a main area in the center, where several tables, computers, a couch and a TV are located. There are four offices with beds, one for each of the Pillars te be in should they have use for it. The beds are there also, in case pillars are homeless and need a place to sleep- their status outside the school doesn't matter, after all. There is a bathroom, a kitchen and plenty of food as well. The door is standard mental, as most of the doors here, but also has a bolt lock. Anyone can knock or approach this at will. (Requests for pillars can go here, or the Pillars themselves can RP here as they wish. If you are requesting a Pillar, this can be done in person with your character, or you can have an NPC alert them to something involving your character.)

Mark was waking up in his room to walk out into the man area to grab a soda, flop onto the couch and turn on the TV, throw his feet up on the coffee table and relax. Of course that was difficult when this was supposed to be an official environment when Mark was such a casual guy. However the TV was busted and Mark hurled the can at a wall, embedding it.
"Shit.... I didn't drink it yet."

The door to the office opened, and Saya walked inside. She used the the heel of her foot to close the door. Her hands were a little bloody, and she didn't want to touch the handle. She walked over to the sink in the kitchen and began washing her hands. She would dry them off with paper towels and walk toward the living room.
"Isn't it your turn for patrol?"
Perhaps one of the others was covering for him.

"Ali went out so I could take a nap."
Mark would be trying to find a way to safely remove the soda can from the wall. Inspecting it mostly first.
"Besides, the only person in the school I want to fight is you."
Mark would grab the can and yank it quickly, maybe the band aid method would work. sure enough all the sheet rock would crumble behind the soda. He'd give a long sheesh sound.
"Everyone else is just a distraction."

Saya would stare at the back of his head as he said he wanted to fight her. This wasn't the first time Mark insisted he wanted to fight her. It wouldn't be the last. She walked over to the mini fridge and grabbed a small gatorade from it, drinking it quietly for a moment. She would wipe her mouth off with the back of her hand after.
"I'm not interested. You know that."
So he should stop asking.

Mark didn't care really it was just the matter of fact part of the conversation.
"That makes me want to fight you more, Captain. No one else here can last even a few rounds with me. It gets boring fast and I don't get to go all out."
Mark would open the soda and the drink would explode in his hands, soda going everywhere.
"Damnit."

She watched him, walking into the living room and sitting down as she splattered soda all over him. Her response was soft, almost quiet.
"You're the only Captain here, Kent. And I don't envy you the job."
She took a drink, some memories tingling in the back of her mind. Ever since Mark had seen her fight, he'd been begging to challenge her. He had stopped begging now- more stating it as a point of fact. Instead, he took to calling her Captain. She didn't think it was to goad her- but more of a matter of respect between them. Everyone called him Captain, but he was looking at her, the unknown element, and until he stood over her victorious, he would call her that.

Mark would go to the bathroom to wash off his skin and then to his room to change clothes, letting Saya's comment sit in the air. Once he returned he once again went to grab a soda, and went back into the living room to sit down and kick his feet up.
"I'm sure you've heard the rumors, Saya. The Untouchable Queen is stronger than The Berserker. One day its going to have to happen. Here, College, into adulthood. We can't pretend I took this title from you officially forever."

Saya would watch him come back after changing, eyes on his as he spoke regarding their fight. She would take a drink, crossing her legs and letting out a breath.
"I don't care about rumors. I've also heard people think I'm a guy. But we both know that isn't true."
Not because they fucked. But because he came into the office once and she was carrying laundry back to her bedroom in her underwear and he saw the goods. Not that she cared. She would lean her head back and stare at the ceiling.
"Say I fight you, and I win. Then what? I become School Captain even though I don't want to be? You stay Captain, knowing someone is better than you? Or maybe you win, and the legend of the Untoucheable Queen dies. People stop taking me as seriously as they do."
She turned her head toward him, watching.
"Let them talk, Mark. Our dynamic works. You shut up critics every time you lazily destroy a student, like you did the leader of Apex Warriors the other day. There is no need for us to fight. And the last thing in this world that I want is your job, or to lose the myth I have now. We keep people in line. That's all we need."
She didn't consider Mark a friend. No, she had none. But if there was ever someone she was close to trusting, it was the berserker. Despite his legend, he wasn't a bad guy, and she had seen that first hand on many occassions.

Mark would sigh. Seemed she was going to deny it till they left high school at least. Which meant Mark was going to have to actually study this year so he could graduate and not to his Senior year for a third time.
"I'm not worried about the rumors. I'm worried about never knowing... For me."
Mark would comment before finally getting a drink of his soda. He was not looking forward to fixing the sheet rock on the wall later.

Saya watched him, her gaze softening a little.
"If you think there could be a fight at a place, in secret, where nobody would know the outcome, and you would be willing to stay Captain after...I would consider that. But only on your word that you would not make me take over if I won, and you wouldn't tell a soul if I lost."
That was a big step for her. Mark was a man that defined himself on combat...and she knew the pain it much cause not knowing.

Mark would think on it. Finally a chance, but they'd have to find an isolated place to fight... In New York. That was going to be a challenge.
"I can promise to keep the job of School Captain, however a place that could contain the two of us fighting in isolation in New York City, is going to be hard."

She stared.
"If you can keep the result to yourself, regardless of what it is and are willing to stay Captain...then I know of a place. You would have to drive us though."
She felt a little tightening in her gut, though outwardly, she didn't show it. She felt she could probably win, but she knew he wasn't all talk as School Captain. He was good. She had seen him play with people, and she had seen him fight. And when he fought, he fought to win.

Mark nodded.
"After school then."
Mark would have to put some gas in his car. Hand me down piece of shit that it was, it was still his baby and she needed something to drink. Mark was elated, fast heart beat. Adrenaline was already pumping today wasn't going to be a good day for ass holes. Mark was hyped.

Saya took another drink, and nodded. " Meet you out front at four, then." She would stand, walking by the trash and tossing her empty bottle in before grabbing her coat and heading out the door. It would be an interesting afternoon.
