A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

[attr="class","post_box"] [attr="class","tetbox"] [attr="class","intext"] Vivi glanced between the two directions she could take, but she didn’t stop running. Noises reached her ears coming from her right and her heart rate sped up considerably. She needed to act fast... no time to stop and think. “We’ve got this,” Vivi whispered, her voice barely audible. It was partially for the woman’s sake and partially for herself. With such a short amount of time before the pursuers would come into view, the violet haired girl didn’t have much time to make a choice. Thoughts whirled through her head—if she took to the left she’d be visible for an extended period of time, wouldn’t she? The panic continued to rise in her chest and a wave of nausea washed over her. Finally she decided to slip inside the building directly in front of her. The girl kept up her quick pace, but at the same time took care to open the door and close it behind her with minimal noise. As soon as she was inside, Vivi would make sure not put herself in the way of any windows so she couldn’t be visible from outside. For now, she’d take a quick look at the interior of the building. Next move? Probably find another window to hop out of, or an exit in the back. She needed to get as far away from the Apostles as possible for starters, navigating towards the warehouse could come next. If they ended up chasing her the whole way there, it’d defeat the purpose of it even being a hiding place.
Don't fuck this up...

Wis Check 1: FAIL Wis Check 2: FAIL Wis Check 3: PASS Wis Check 4: PASS
Ira would see the woman at the center was lax, and her form seemed to be carried with ease and comfort. She did not appear hostile, and any aggression she might harbor would be undetectable for the moment. Her brow was cocked, the hair over her eyes covering the majority of her expression, and the tattoo making it slightly more difficult to read. All that could be seen in her face was a blank, neutral demeanor, at best. Her clothes were minimal and form-fitting, with nowhere to hide weapons or gadgets besides a small satchel slung over her left shoulder. Her gloves and shoes looked to be plated by something thin, but it was easy to assume the material was durable - kevlar, maybe. On her exposed shoulder, Ira would see a half-covered "II" tattoo.
The Chinese man seemed to be the most intimidating of the three, standing the tallest and the quietest. While his expression was neutral, it was also imposing, and Ira could see an animosity in his eyes. He was yearning for a reason to fight. Should he be given the chance, his stance was loose enough that he could throw himself into the action instantly. Fists were clenched so that his knuckles were wight, and his teeth were practically grinding against each other. He wore a zipped up black jacket and black jeans, but on his neck Ira would see a half-exposed "IV" tattoo.
The hooded male was the most elusive of the three and Ira would find very little in his stance and expression, but that might be what gave her the most information. He sat in a crouch during the initial conversation, and did not seem to pay attention to the words being thrown out. While the other two would react to Jack, Aldritch, and herself, Ira would notice this particular male looking out at all of the walls. At the end of her own explanation to the woman, if she paid attention, she would see this man look up toward the ceiling, enabling her to gaze upon his facial features. When she did, she'd see his eyes were glowing a bright blue for a small moment. He'd end up looking in the direction Vivi took off in, and a frown formed on his lips. Paying no mind to the group of three, nor his own two, he would stand up and walk in that same direction rather slowly. Once he'd passed the group, if Ira kept her eye on him, she'd notice a half-covered "VII" tattoo on the back of his right forearm.
The woman's gaze would flicker between Aldritch and Jack for a moment, her eyes narrowing. They were full of shit and she could tell, though she wasn't about to make that obvious. The further these guys dug themselves into a hole, the better. But then, when Ira spoke up, it seemed a little... pathetic, really. II frowned, sighing before she began to speak up. "Alright, alright," she waved her hands to get Ira to stop. Any more and she felt like the girl might have a legitimate panic attack, and at that point there would be no chance to get any information out of her. With a small gesture, she pointed IV over to Jack and Aldritch. "You get some details from them real quick, pal. I'll handle the ptsd chick."
IV would do as instructed, and II would put a hand on Ira's shoulder and kneel in front of her just enough so they'd be eye to eye. It didn't take much, but she read somewhere that being at eye-level with a person helped calm them down. "I'm gonna need you to tell me where exactly, kid. And I need to know the details on what happened. Can you do that for me?" She'd wait for a response, then if Ira seemed like she'd comply, II would continue. "What did she do to you?" Aldritch and Jack would here a stern "Follow," being barked by IV as the large Chinese male led them away from the two women. "The girl. Where. Explain."
Dex Check: FAIL
Vivi would make it into the building, but the group of Apostles would enter the alley just in time to catch a glimpse of her back as she did so. Immediately, the girl would whisper into a comm. "May or may not have visual on the target. Moving in to investigate." Pointing her index and middle fingers forward, the two Apostles at her sides would run up to the sides of the door. Vivi would have 10 seconds after she'd shut it to make any sort of a move, before they quietly opened it and pointed their guns inside.
The girl would find herself in what appeared to be a break room. There was the single exit she came in through, with large lockers around the east, west, and south walls. The north wall was made up entirely of a window. No light could really be found within the room, though she would be able to see a small reflection off of a ventilation shaft in the southeast corner. It seemed large enough to fit an average-sized person inside. Also, 20 feet away from her in a beeline was the only other door out of the room, which seemed to lead to a hallway where she could see nothing but a flashlight being pointed down from the right side, and it was only growing closer and closer.

Welp, it was all down to luck, now. There bozos seemed to have been at least somewhat fooled by the act, since they weren't forcing them to the ground just yet, and at least they were being delayed long enough for the fleeing girls to get away. All the same, the situation was teetering on a knife's edge, in danger of toppling into chaos at any moment.
Jack didn't have many options other than to do as they said, and move with the angry-sounding man. He made sure to stay close to Hexell, however, moving at the same pace the other boy was moving. He didn't know the guy, but what he'd done with the pipes showed that he knew how to fight, and if things did go crazy, Jack wanted to be standing near the tough guy. That, and he also seemed the rowdiest of the people here. If he ended up causing a disturbance, Jack might be able to make a break for it while the others were distracted.
For now, he just kept his mouth shut, glancing once towards the white-haired boy before looking back at IV, keeping his best dumb-and-scared face on.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Aldritch casually followed the armed man, showing a disgruntled expression as he ordered him what to do. As he asked them, the albino would sigh and point exactly where Ira had pointed beforehand. Scratching his head, he had thought of a good enough excuse to complement the brunette's explanation.
"Oh, the girl that ran? She went there. She jumped outta nowhere and on to that brunette! See these pipes?" Aldritch said, waving them around in front of the big guy. "Bonked her on the head with one o' these! Smash! Smash! SUH-MASH! T'was a dead giveaway! Got her runnin away like, ain't no body got time fo' that! Nu uh! Not today! She was backing up... backing up... Then I says, we gon' find you! I tell you, she be one fast runner! Got her seein' Leprechauns after that, tho that bitch! She can still run away!" He said, giving his best interview answer. Hopefully satisfying the man.

[attr="class","post_box"] [attr="class","tetbox"] [attr="class","intext"] Vivi’s gaze quickly flicked around the room. Her blood roared in her ears, and she grit her teeth. While she was fast, her speed could only get her so far. Chances were the approaching people at least caught a glimpse of her as she retreated. Her eyes briefly fell on the only door out of the room, and she might’ve sprinted over there if she hadn’t seen the light. Vivi imagined it must be a flash light, and didn’t figure she wanted whoever was down there to find her anymore than the people outside. It was one quick decision after another—but she’d do her best with the time provided.
Catching a glimpse of the ventilation shaft in the corner of her eye, Vivi shot toward it and quickly heaved the woman inside before lithely climbing in after her. The two of them were petite so she figured they could fit. She had set the woman in the shaft bridal style, and when she was in as well, Vivi placed an arm under the woman's shoulders and her other arm under her knees, using her legs to crawl and push the two of them deeper into the darkness of the shaft. However, as soon as she heard the noise of people entering, she'd stop. The purple haired girl pressed her lips together. Hopefully she wasn’t causing the poor lady much pain like this. In the mean time, she breathed gently and took care to stay as silent as possible. Here she was… hiding in a freak'n ventilation shaft. Scariness aside, it’d be terribly awkward to be found there by the pursuers cradling their fugitive.

HEAR THE SOUND OF FALLING rain.
COMING DOWN LIKE AN Armageddon FLAME.
Ira was somewhat deflated--whatever sliver of hope she might wield that nothing would slip past the guards smashed into a million fragments onto the floor. She had to resist the urge to chew on her lips while she tried her absolute best to conceal herself with a fairly innocent demeanor by non-verbal cues of blinking and trembling.
Nodding in response to II's question, Ira would point at the exact direction she had previously pointed to.
"She ran in that direction after banging into me." She would whimper once more, but her eyes would meet II's eyes steadily. She spoke loud enough for Aldritch and Jack to hear every word she was saying, and was about to say.
"They wouldn't know what happen, they just arrived when she ran off there--" She pointed at the direction she'd previously pointed.
"I was walking down the streets here to buy some AAA batteries. When I walked here, this weird girl, almost my height crashed right into me and lashed out painfully. After she lashed out, him and him--" She pointed at Jack and Aldritch. "Showed up, thinking that a fight was going to happen and tried to defend me from her, while she panicked. She seemed to be chased, and she turned, and dashed close to the direction she came from, about a semiquarter of an angel. She isn't running very fast, you might be able to catch her if you go now." She added almost coyly, but her tone was disguised as a blubber.
Unknown to II, Ira was calculative enough to know their chances--if Aldritch and Jack were to mess up, well, she wasn't interested in scrapping their remnants off the floor. If they were Apostles, Ira didn't want to take her chance with another Luca-like character.
Shards of ideas pierced her, and Ira knew that there was no point keeping up a pretense while refusing to allow the girl to fall into their hands. She didn't know these people, and creating enemies when it could be avoided was foolish.
Unfortunately, curiosity never served her well, and she wasn't ready to divulge information on the girl until she had information herself. There was only one aspect of the chaos that was clear--she wanted to know why the female was being pursued, and taking another careful glance at her pursuers affirmed the fact that these people weren't going to say much. Unlike the girl, Ira has no leverage over these people.
She needed to know one thing, and only one thing--was the girl useful? If she was, how useful was she? As long as she knew the answer, Ira knew exactly what to do--surrender or revolt. However, she was very much kept in the dark, and that displeased her enough to visualize stripping skin off their faces while she kept up her facade and awaited their response.
ALL I ASK OF YOU IS TO BELIEVE PHARAOH LEAP.

Wis Check 1: FAIL Wis Check 2: PASS IV frowned as Hex spoke up, not believing a word that left the kid's mouth for even a second. Arms folded over his chest, he nodded every so often to provide the illusion he was listening. In reality, his eyes had passed between II and VII, curiously watching the both of them and how their encounters would end up. The moment Hex was done talking, the Chinese man would unfold his arms, crack his knuckles, and speak plainly one more time. "Again. Properly." He was looking at Jack as well. Yes, he wanted the blonde to speak as well. II nodded as Ira spoke, believing the girl's story but puzzled as to why she spoke so loud. "Right, right," she finally replied with a grin and patted the girl on the shoulder. "Thanks little lady. Four, we got what we need!" With a whistle, she called out to her Chinese friend, who simply held up a finger in response. "Take a squad. The albino lies.""Oh, well... bad idea, buddy. Best clear it up quick. Seven, keep an eye out."II dashed out from the building and whistled loudly to catch the attention of a small platoon of soldiers. Spinning her index finger, they were immediately on her tail and took off in the direction Ira had pointed them in. "Possible spotting," she radioed into her comms. "Fifteen is said to be heading northwest. I'll check it out, let you guys know.""Copy that," III radioed in response. VII watched the building III and her men had converged on and halted, eyes widening as the targets he'd been tracking mysteriously vanished. Pressing his index and middle finger to his left temple, he stood in wait for a long moment. During this time, III and her men suddenly froze as well. The door leading to the room Vivi hid in would slowly open, almost inaudibly, as III made her way inside of the building. Silently, she motioned for her men to check the other entrances, while she herself headed toward the ventilation shaft - it was undone, that much was clear. She removed the cover and looked inside, peering in with a flashlight to find... nothing. "Nothing here, Seven."The hooded male frowned and III simply replaced the cover and headed out into the opposite area. VII turned to look at IV, who nodded and folded his arms across his chest once more in wait. Ira Defaire Aldritch Hexell Jack Griffin Vivi Perish

Things were turning out pretty well. One hunter had been sent off in the wrong direction, and it was likely that the two fleeing girls had already escaped by now, if there was still no word of so much as a sighting of them. That, and with the woman gone, there were only two men guarding Jack and the others. Probably still wasn't a good idea to fight them, but if they simply attacked and then made a break for it now, they had a pretty good chance of getting away before the other Apostles could return.
The Chinese guy was obviously way too mistrustful to believe any lie Jack spouted, and it would be pointless to try and keep bullshitting, especially if their lackluster lies cast suspicion on Ira's story. Instead, he changed tactics, and went with the truth.
"Yeah, we're lying to you." As he said this, he was stepping to the side, circling around the man to make it more difficult for him to keep his eyes on both Jack and Aldritch at once. "Why wouldn't we? Everyone hates the Apostles... except her, apparently." He gestured to Ira. "But whatever, keep asking us if you want. Put us in handcuffs and shove our heads underwater, if you feel like it! Doesn't change the fact that we only saw that girl for- what -a minute? So by the time you squeeze anything out of us, I'm betting she'll be miles away, and any info we can give you will be worth jack shit. In short, no matter which way things go, you're wasting your time, sucker." He gave a smug smile, taunting the man, daring him to lash out or try to draw a weapon.
Whatever IV did at this point would play into Jack's hands. If the guy decided he was wasting time and let them go, they got away. If he kept up the stand-off, he was just wasting more time, and would eventually be forced to leave when the other Apostles either found the girl or decided she was gone. If he fell for Jack's taunt and tried to attack or restrain the two young men, they'd have an opening to hit him with everything they had, and then escape before the other Apostles realized what was going on, hopefully distracting them and making it even more difficult for them to find their real target.
