DD Preliminaries Round Three: T5 vs T6 vs T7.

[OoC: Ira Defaire, Jack Griffin, Aldritch Hexell, @animata, Leon Sudeki, Kaitaro of Crimson. This battle is no holds barred, meaning players may use everything in their arsenal to win. All participants are required to post at least one time within a 48-hour period. If, at any point, a participant fails to meet this timeline (s)he will be disqualified from the round, resulting in a decreased chance of his/her team's success. Two members of the same team may not post within 12 hours of each other unless there is at least one post from both opponent's teams separating them. The fight itself will have a time limit of seven days, ending at 2AM CST on February 26th. At this time, the the thread will be locked and a winner will be determined. If there is no clear winner, staff will grade the fight and vote on a winner to move on to the next round.]

All teams would both be lead to an underground facility with masks over their faces to conceal the location of the facility and the identities of their teammates and opponents. Round two had ended, the results being kept from the rest of the groups, and teams Five, Six, and Seven would be lead to three different elevators. Upon reaching them, they would be forced inside, and a beeping sound could be heard before the elevator lifted the teams to the world above. The higher they got, the louder the roar of the crowd came to be. The audience wanted a show, and these four were to provide it.

After what would seem like a few minutes, the elevators would slowly come to a halt. Light shone inward through the small vents and the teams would feel a light chill creep upon them. Without warning, the elevator doors would rip open and teams would finally be free to remove their masks, at which point they would see the arena before them. A forest, it seemed, yet one inside of a large dome. No tracks ran through it so it was clear there man had not yet tainted it. The trees were green and alive, and the grass beneath their feet was muddy. About ten yards in front of either team they would see a small pond - roughly ten feet in diameter - and across the next ten, well, that's where they'd find their opponents, of course.

"Iiiiin team five, we've got quite a duo of newcomers! This sexy little Japanese girl who seems to be as fierce as the Red Hulk from Round One, and her blonde-haired friend with a name that tells you he'd belong in family guy!" There were very few cheers, if only for the fact that some of the men gawked at the female, but the majority of the crowd reaction was laughter. "GIVE A NICE WELCOME TO IIIIRAAAA DEFAAAAIRE AND PEETEE- I mean, JAAAAACK GRIIIIFFIIIIIN!" As asked, they did just that! "Iiiin team six, we've got yet another veteran of the Bareknuckle Beatdown, and yet another loser," Immediately, the crowd began to boo. "And another new face, though she's definitely one we'd rather see starting the matches than participating in 'em, right boys?! Say hello to AAALDRIIIITCH HEEEXEEEEL AND ALIOOOOTH ALLLGOOOOOL!" The reactions here were virtually the same as Team Fives, the booing Hex received immediately drowned out by humor and laughter. So far, there seemed to be no clear crowd favor. "But of course, we can't forget this is a special match! In teeeeaaaam seveeeeen, yet another new face, but one of the fiercest competitors from the Barenkuckle Beatdown as well, LET'S GIVE IT UP FOR KAITARO OF CRIM- No way that's his name. I'm not saying that. AND LEEEOOOOON SUUUDEEEKIIIIIII!"

Suffice it to say, the crowd went wild.

"Alright you little shits, anything goes! You do what it takes to win, just make sure your pal is all well and good, and the other guys just can't get back up. IT'S TIIIIME FOR THE DEMOLITION DUUOOOOOOO!"
