Name:
Sol Ransley
Alias:
Machina, Lucifer
Age:
23
Grade:
4th Year (University)
Height:
6'1"
Weight:
194 lbs
Eye Color:
Blue
Hair Color:
Black
Appearance:
Personality:
Apathetic. Cynical. Serious. Cold and heartless, the only thing Sol has in mind is protecting himself. Despite his condescending nature, he will open up slightly to others from time to time. He acts calmly in all situations, which causes many to find him mysterious and unreadable. Blunt and arrogant, Sol tells things like he sees them, and has the ability to understand and solve problems quickly. Despite his harsh and inscrutable disposition, he is highly knowledgeable and always has a professional atmosphere around him.
Highly calculating, he never allows anything to come before his goal, and is willing to dirty his hands with the blood of others and sacrifice lives, to reach that end. Sol rarely engages in direct confrontation, instead preferring to strike quickly and silently from the shadows, ending a fight as efficiently as possible and with little effort exerted on his part. To Sol, the ends justify the means, though the only lives he takes are those he deems a threat or roadblock to his goal. Highly aloof, Sol very rarely displays any emotion towards anyone, including close acquaintances. He has a bit of a short temper that is balanced by his serious nature, though he is competitive and doesn't like to lose.
He prefers to let his actions speak for himself. Generally a quiet person, he speaks very little, but when he has something to say it speaks volumes.
Fighting Style:
Sol has knowledge of areas which are likely to lead to a break if struck effectively, as well as joints that, when struck, can be hyper-extended and even tear, causing permanent damage to his opponent as well as cause shock damage, and makes it a point strike those before doing anything else to incapacitate his opponent. This prevents his opponents from fighting back, and ensures the fight ends as quickly as possible. He mainly uses this style to dispatch an opponent ruthlessly but efficiently.
Strengths:
Sol has a good amount of strength in his arms and legs, though he mainly focuses on striking his opponent swiftly and efficiently, most often sneaking up on them and striking from the shadows. He relies more on unpredictability, making sure to give his opponent little chance to retaliate, ensuring his first strike is also his last, to dispatch them before they even knew it was coming. If that fails however, he is capable of blocking and then counterattacking if he can't take them down in time. Although Sol isn't as heavily built, his stamina is quite high, so he can last in a fight for a good amount of time, and take quite a few hits.
Weaknesses:
Although Sol's stamina is high, if a battle wears on for too long, he'll grow tired eventually, which may just work against him. If he's faced against a huge opponent with lots of muscles, his attacks may not inflict damage, which will work against him. His condescending and arrogant nature can and will work against him, as he will underestimate an opponent, which could prove to be his undoing if facing off a much more powerful opponent.
History:
Sol was the son of a high-ranked general and learned how to wield a gun long before he could even walk or talk, something his mother was initial displeased about, but eventually got over. Despite the harsh discipline imposed upon Sol by his father, he still loved his wife and son very much, but that all changed when his father was gunned down in cold blood by the vengeful older brother of a man his father had killed in an armed fight against a rebel group. With her husband gone, his mother gradually became depressed over time, soon becoming addicted to alcohol and eventually sending her life spiraling out of control.
Sol meanwhile, did his best to take of his mother, making sure she ate and got to bed while still going to school, and for a while, his mother grew better, becoming less addicted to alcohol, and some days, she could feed and dress herself. But despite Sol's best efforts, the damage had been done. His mother's liver had been damaged so badly, it was beyond repair, and it was in his final year of high school that Spencer would come home after school and find his mother lying unconscious on the ground. Calling the police and the paramedics subsequently rushing her to the hospital, despite their best efforts, she would die before reaching the emergency ward, and would be pronounced dead upon arrival.
With nothing left for him, after burying his mother beside his father, graduating from high school weeks later, Sol left his homeland and traveled, going wherever the road took him. Ending up in San Francisco and left to fend for himself, Sol became cold and hardened by his life on the streets, leading to him picking up using a firearm to defend himself. Becoming skilled in the use of a firearm in a short amount of time, Sol soon became a soldier of fortune, rumors spreading of a master gunsman/sniper roaming the streets of San Francisco. Soon garnering a reputation for being competent in his work as a mercenary assassin in the criminal underworld, his services however, were hard to come by, as Sol only accepted contracts to take people out who stood in the way of his end goal, and in any job he took on, he had no qualms with killing those who prevented him from completing his job.
When Private High School #552 opened up, his attention was drawn to it, especially as a university had been built to accompany it. Though Sol had been attending university during his tenure as a contracted assassin, this school would serve to help further Sol along towards his end goal. All it took was just to commit a few felonies, and he ended up being sent there, as an alternative to being sent to prison. Now that he was here, his plan could begin...
