In a day, life was flipped from an all time low to an all time high. A new home, new school, new life. And yet here Kai was, sitting on top of a roof with hydrofluoric acid than he stole from god knows where. He just walked along the rooftop and poured it on parked cars. When the car owner came back, he watched as they tried to figure out what caused the burning holes in the metal, and the warped glass on the windshield.
It was a dark night outside. The moon was hidden behind a layer of clouds. The lights of the street below were pretty dull and not at all bright enough for him to be seen. Nonetheless, he had taken precautions. His hair was dyed with temporary black hair coloring so he didn't stand out as much from the dark night. It hadn't really worked though, and made his hair look a stone grey color more than black. He was wearing a black lab coat and chemical splash apron. He also had a pair of protected goggles and nitrile gloves. He must have looked like a mad scientist with his lab outfit, although he would probably look even more like one if his hair wasn't dyed. He had a pretty big supply with him near the door to the roof. I was all safely contained in polyethylene
He watched as a younger looking man walked out and almost lost it when he saw his vehicle. Kai had gotten this one pretty well. The spots where the HF acid landed were burned all the way through. It was satisfying to him to watch the people scan their vehicles over and over, and then look up to where he had poured it from. They didn't see him, of course, because he was blending in so well with the dark night and also because he was barely peeking over the edge. He honestly thought he would never be caught, free to sit and watch for the whole night. Free to spend his new life in San Francisco.
