Steven and Austin would wake up in a very dark, musky room. There was a single fluorescent light bulb, flickering often enough that the room might as well have been completely darkened. The brick walls seemed to permanently be moistened, almost soft to the touch. The floors were covered in stained blood, with rusted shackles scattered across the room. In the most shaded corner was a cage, ten feet long and wide and seven feet high, and this was where the two would awaken. The door to the cage would be locked, and a key would sit on the table at the opposite corner, eight feet away.
Steven would find his wound was stitched shut, albeit poorly. However, he would not feel pain should he touch it, and it didn't seem to be bleeding. He was weak, but he was alive, though he couldn't be sure how safe he was to move around too much just yet. Austin would find himself drained physically, and his eyesight muddled to the point where he wouldn't be able to see more than five feet in front of himself clearly. Both would have countless bruises and stitches all over their bodies, and would find their lips chapped and cracking like they hadn't had water in over a day. Neither would have any of their possessions, or even the clothes they would have been wearing when they were kidnapped. They had nothing on them but dirty, torn, old pants that didn't even fit right.

Steven would awaken, and strangely he did not feel the agony he had expected. The flickering darkness, was the only thing that let him know he was truly alive. The darkness had swallowed him, and that light was a sign of hope against it.
Carefully and with much effort Steven would drag himself to his feet, in pain and holding his side in order to prevent the wound reopening. Steven would glare around the darkness and see Austin. However he wouldn't be able to tell who it was.
"Hey get up."
He would say, not asking if they were okay, it was unlikely they were any better off then him. Steven would then stagger to the cage side, and examine the lock. As he didn't have his stuff, there was no easy solution to open the gate. Even so he would try it.
"Well that's expected."
Glaring out at the darkness, Steven would try to see anything in the room. If he could see the key he would point it out.

Slowly Austin would come to, his body seemingly unable to move at first. The occasional flicker of the light eventually brought him back into reality. At first he just laid there, trying to get his bearings and just as he had begun to lift himself up he heard a familiar voice call out to him.
Those hazel hues eventually picked up his surroundings through what little was available when it came. He realized he was locked in a cage, but with whom he didn't know yet. When he heard him speak again after fiddling with the lock, he realized just who it was. Oh the irony. If Austin didn't feel so damn drained he would probably smash the shit out of his face.
"Steven? Fuckin' hell.. I thought I died.. Wake up locked in a cage with you.. This some sick joke?"
But it appeared he had a much bigger issue at hand. He felt like he had just been thrown into a horror movie. His hands would slide across his naked torso, his finger tips feeling at the scabs, bruises and stitches he was beginning to find all over him. At least he was still wearing pants.
Austin would stagger toward the cage himself, ignoring the male he was locked in here. He didn't feel like fighting with him. He needed to know what was happening. While he wouldn't admit or show it, Austin was a little nervous. Those Hazel hues would concentrate and look around the best he could as his hands grasped the bars.

Steven would be able to see the table that the key was on, and some other objects that were much too dark to make out. Aside from that, there was very little that stood out in there that could be seen. Walls, floor, blood stains and shackles, nothing that looked like it could help at the moment.
Austin, if he looked, would not be able to see the table, key, or anything on it. He could feel a little bit of rust on the bars, however.

"Oh god."
Steven would mutter at hearing Austin's voice and realising who he had been locked in with.
"Yeah yeah the worlds laughing at us. So not the fucking time for being pissed."
Steven would say without even turning to look at the other man, being locked in a cage, was not something he like the prospect at.
"There is a key over there, and we need to get it."
Steven would point out, he would then turn around, sit down and rip one of the lower legs off what he was wearing. It wasn't much material, but Steven would start to tear it into stripes. He didn't care what Austin tried.
Once in strips he would try and fashion a Sort of rope, even if it meant ripping the lower leg of the other pants too. If he could just get something long enough, fashion a weight on the end. Maybe he could sling it around the table leg and drag it close to them.

What is wrong with my eyes, damn it!?
Austin couldn't see a damn thing in front of him. However he could feel grittiness of the bars he grabbed and being around metal a good portion of his life, one sniff and he could tell it was rust. His ears would pick up Steven's words, but he chose to ignore him for the moment as his mind danced about to find his own way out.
"I got an idea too.."
Austin heard the sounds of material ripping, but continued on with what he planned. Growling slightly at what he was about to do, the young outlaw pulled the uncomfortably fitted pants down and off. He would then turn slightly toward his right and hold his pants out. He would then proceed to pee on his pants, whether or not Steven was in the vicinity, he cared not. He really had to piss.
As gross as it was, it was about survival. It wasn't as if he hadn't done anything disgusting before. After soaking his pants in urine, he would wrap it around the rusty bars and begin to twist the ends as tightly as he could, and keep twisting in hopes of the weakened metal would give.
"If this.. Doesn't.. Hnngh.. Work.. I may need you to to take a piss.. for me. I. Will. Never. Fucking. Ask. That. Again."

Steven would find, with the eight foot gap, he didn't have nearly enough thread from the one half-pant leg. He would need to use much more of his pants to have a rope long enough. Survival, or dignity.
It seemed Austin chose survival.
The bars would barely creak, but not visibly change as Austin twisted with his hands. The urine seemed like enough to work, but he would need something strong to do the twisting for him. If he searched around the cage, he would find a broken bar in the only lit corner.

"YOU NEVER FUCKING ASKED IT."
Steven would shout back at the guy, what the hell, he had no shame. Steven would avoid even looking at the first hint of what Austin was going to do. He would also shuft away, so that not liquid...ewww. Would reach him.
Steven would realise his rope wasn't big enough, and would rip all but would keep his modesty covered and quickly go about making it longer. Once done, Steven would ball up the end slightly in a knot. Get up and try and use the 'Rope'. Swing it and throwing the end out to try and wrap around the corner leg.
Steven didn't know about the sigh issues Austin had, but it meant that Steven was lucky that his eyes were working okay and as such could reasonably have a good chance. Even if it took many attempts.

"Shit.. I can't.. get enough.. Behind this.."
Austin would glance down. His eyes were still messed up, but he had a strange feeling that if he could see he would be dangling in the wind. If there was wind. The leader of AW would shake his head before scurrying around the edge of the cage to find anything useful.
Eventually his hand would brush against a bar of sorts. He would actually get a little excited. Not in that way though. Retracing his steps, he would try to tie a knot around the bar and then use it like a lever to again attempt to bend the bars.
"I'm a fuckin' genious, dude.. "
If he was successful, he would squeeze his naked ass through the opening and head in the first direction he thought of, straight. Arms out as he walked, feeling for anything incase he wasn't able to see it before he walked into anything.

Austin would successfully manage to bend the bars after much, much work. They would break before they were big enough to fit through, however, meaning he would have to exit at an odd angle, and, being unable to see, would suffer a few scrapes against his shoulders on his way out. Steven would not have to continue with his rope, and would be able to exit with Austin.
Austin would walk straight toward another damp wall with nothing that really set it apart from any other. He could barely see another wall directly to his left, and to his right he would see nothing at all.
Steven, if he exited the cage, would now be able to see a door that he could not, hidden in the darkness. It was large and iron, and the handle was rusted as well. There was a window on it, however it was stained to the point one could not see through it.

Steven would hear the snap of breaking metal. Looking up and glad of the gloom didn't get a eyeful of Austin. Steven would give up on his plan, and would coil the 'Rope' up and sling it over his shoulder as he squeezed through the gap. Taking the effort to not get cut up or the 'Rope' tangled.
Steven as he move forwards would see the door, and as he passed by Austin from behind would notice Austin hadn't seemed to see it, and was ignoring it. Steven would point at it.
"Door..with a window. Use that bar to smash us a route out."
The Steven would head over to the table, and see what else was there. Steven would also take the key regardless it was possible it was to the door, or another door and not the cage as unlikely as that seemed. Steven would check if what little remained of his pants had pockets without holes. And if so pocket the key. If not he would hold it as he tried to see if the other items on the table could have a use.

Austin felt lost as he moved and he could feel blood dripping from his shoulder. But he ignored the uncomfortable sting and would listen to Steven's instructions, if only because he knew he had better chances with help, then on his own. He wasn't sure if he could smash the window out, but he would try to hit it a few times and see the results.
If it didn't work, he would feel around the edges of the door frame and try to see if he could locate a spot to wedge the bar in and try to pry open the door with as much energy as he could muster. One way or another, he was going to get outta here. Even if he had to rip the damn door of it's hinges some way.

At the table, Steven would find documents with formulas on them that he could not read, in languages he would not understand. Four such documents would be found, before Steven would find a fifth paper with nothing on it but a single word, written in blood: METUO. There would be various old, emptied syringes with labels on them that Steven could not make sense of. A small, pen-like object would stand out. His pants would also have no pockets, so he would be forced to hold the key should he continue to carry it on his person.
Austin would not be able to break the window with the bar, no matter how many times he hit it. With enough force, however, he was able to pry it open, and a loud screech would be heard as a result.
The room on the other side of the door was pitch black, with not one source of light. The sound of water dripping into more water could be heard. Without a light source, Austin and Steven would both be walking blind.

Steven would grab all of the paper and fold them up. Sliding the into the waist band of what remained of his pants. Then he would take the pen like object and put both it and the key in on hand and use it to hold the rope over his shoulder. Lastly he would take one of the syringes. A weapon seemed like smart idea.
Heading to the door the darkness that was out there, practically loomed.
"After you."
He would say and would follow into the darkness if Austin obeyed once more.

Austin felt a little relieved at least when he felt the door eventually give way and he pried it up. Still holding the bar, he would raise it upward. He heard Steven tell him to go first and Knuckles would scoff at him before shaking his head and taking the lead. Maybe Steven was more scared then he was.
"I can't see shit, man.. I need you to try and be my eye- Guide me like a clock. Name the hour and I'll swing away.."
Left hand extended slightly to feel for stuff, right arm bent and holding the metal bar at the ready to strike out if the need be. Steven just better make sure he wasn't in the way, otherwise he would hit him. It wasn't like he could see or anything.
